Prelude
Back before the Age of Gods, and before even the Divine Flame, Primordial beings fought endlessly over the coveted title of God King. Though each of these beings had their own definition of what bearing the title entailed, all were aware of one thing. To bear the title of God King meant you would Rule over all and all that will be. And it was those words, that were etched into a giant stone monolith that served as the boundary between Heaven and Earth.

Over time, however, the Primordial beings that fought endlessly to rule over Heaven began to disappear, becoming complacent within their own realms. And so ended The Primordial Age, and ushered forth was a new age, and another after that. With each passing millennium the title of God King became myth even among the divine gods born from Primordials, but the monolith still stood nonetheless. Over time the earth below Heaven became the Mortal realm, and the Age of Man began.
