She protected him, treated him well, talked to him like a friend, taught him right from wrong, and was always honest with him about how things were since she saw people’s real intentions. Since she had been around it since she was little, she became better at reading people. Whether they had good or bad intentions or whether they had good or bad hearts.

Whatever it was, that being was an angel (source of positivity) or demon (source of negativity). They all had good hearts, good intentions, and good outlooks. Whoever was like them were trusted, and whoever was not like them were not trusted.
