"Where to boss?" David asked once one of the two bodyguards opened the door for Bryan.

  "Find me a pce to trim my hair then somewhere to buy a suit before taking me to the city hall," Bryan said before looking at the bodyguard who sat next to him, "I bet Linnet and Celest would give you a hard time if they see you sitting next to me."

  The mature woman sitting next to him gave her employer a side-gnce before shaking her head after hearing him tease her so openly without care for his image.

  David snickered while putting his foot on the gas and the other male bodyguard sitting in the passenger seat gave his partner a look with a smile on his face which earned him a roll of the woman's eyes.

  "So, Kyle and Jessica are riding with us on the first shift David, you must be excited." Bryan didn't like the silence and since he can't have his driver py music in the car since it's a cause of distraction to his bodyguards and he's not in the mood to put earphones on... he decided to just start a conversation and let the topic bounce around to whatever that may be!

  David looked at the rear mirror and smiled before looking at the handsome man which his employer didn't have any pns of actually hiring in the first pce but of course he wouldn't say anything about this sensitive matter because it'd only make the mood awkward which is why he simply nodded before saying : "Very boss. Makes me feel extra safe to know that Kyle and Jessica are there to watch your back when I'm guarding the car, once I smell danger I can jump in and take cover behind this bulletproof gss... lucky me."

  Jessica barely stopped herself from ughing after hearing this driver talk with pride about how cowardly he can be.

  Kyle on the other hand gave David a look before looking back in the mirror on his side to check if there's anything suspicious behind them on the road then looked ahead.

  Bryan knew that both of his bodyguards would need a harder push to crack them to the degree where they'd start engaging in the conversation, "While you're watching cartoons in the car I might just take Kyle's advice on the best hairstyle to match my looks."

  "Good idea boss, Kyle is so handsome he looks like a movie star." David timely added which earned him an annoyed side-gnce from Kyle who twitched his lips once he saw his partner smiling through the rear mirror.

  "Jessica's suit is a perfect match with her body, so taking her opinion on which suit to choose before having my business in the city hall sounds like the right thing to do since the opposite sex tends to be always right." Bryan said while rexing on the seat and leaning on the arm rest to watch the road.

  This time it was Kyle's turn to smile and Jessica looked towards Bryan and squinted her eyes before saying : "You can just ask, why go around in circles?"

  David looked in the rear mirror and smiled because he already knows that his boss achieved his goal.

  Kyle was watching the road both in front and behind the car but his ears were listening with attention to what his young employer would say next.

  Bryan put five fingers in the air and said : "First, the silence was making me feel dull.

  "Second, you guys are a bit tense and I don't feel like that's the right attitude to do your job right.

  "Third, because I've been a nobody to the whole world from the moment I was born until less than three days ago and I probably still am.

  "Fourth, I can take care of myself more than you realize so you need to rex whenever there's a close encounter with whatever danger and I only need your expertise in situations where fire weapons are included which in the current stage of my life is almost impossible for me to be targeted with anything like that because of the third reason.

  "Fifth, I never had to buy a suit for formal and official meetings and I don't know which ones to buy when I'm trying to impress a couple dies so... your opinion is really important."

  Jessica, Kyle, and even David instantly realized that everything Bryan said made sense especially when all of them got to see with their eyes the circumstances which he lived in plus a brief demonstration of his abilities with Mr. Owen earlier.

  "Clearly the chances of me getting to receive your honest opinions and advice is much higher if we break the ice between us and you two get more comfortable talking to me and voicing your thoughts without feeling like you're being judged on everything you say," Bryan added before opening a bottle of water to drink, "I really don't care if you're cursing all the time and throwing dirty jokes at one another in my presence... as long as you're careful enough to maintain a resembnce of decency in front of certain people to save my face and are doing your job right then everything is going to be fine. You might even receive bonuses if you make it fun working for me as well as much easier for yourselves so it's a win win for every single one of us."

  "I like it boss, that's how we're supposed to live our lives man!" David nodded while drumming the steering wheel with his fingers, "That's why me and unc never see eye-to-eye, jeez... he can really be so uptight sometimes."

  "Maybe it's because you don't listen to him enough." Kyle said since he already knows that this driver is the nephew of Charles Olivera who became rich after using the connections he made in his youth while pursuing the career of an actor.

  Bryan leaned back on his seat, "I agree with Kyle but I also agree with you too David."

  David was just about to ague with Kyle but once he heard Bryan he paused and both men looked at one another then said nothing.

  "I get it that you agree with Kyle but how come you agree with David too?" Jessica asked while reaching for Bryan's door to touch a logo which caused his seat to massage his back for him during the ride.

  "Mmmm... this is good," Bryan moaned and closed his eyes to enjoy the feeling of the vibrations on his skin, "Kyle is right because there's a difference between hearing and listening then their retion to their understanding which is why most the girls I've seen ignore their boys always almost immediately turned to leave once the boys trying to make a point said "Hear me out" or "Listen to me" instead of expining themselves from the beginning while the girls are giving them the opportunity to speak but once the begging tone of "Hear me out" or the commanding tone of "Listen to me" are thrown in their faces the girls either feel despise towards the boys for trying to lie to them or anger for having the gal to try and order them around in these critical situations of their retionship.

  "But that's not really the main point of what I'm trying to say here, the point is whenever Mr. Charles is trying to say something to you then the basic respect from you David towards him is to actually listen to it and approach the knowledge he's trying to bestow you with as some kind of raw wisdom, this wisdom is in the form of a puzzle or an enigmatic riddle which requires you to transte it through your mind's own and very personal equation and unique approach since the source is from a mind which thinks in a completely different way.

  "Humans are basically different by nature and that's the undeniable fact of our existence, even twins sharing the same womb think differently and pursue different goals but... that doesn't mean we're supposed to csh whenever we disagree on every stupid thing in life do we?"

  "Of course not boss." David replied while Kyle and Jessica were seeing Bryan under a different light.

  Bryan drummed the arm seat with his finger before opening his mouth to say : "That's why it'd be a complete waste of your brain cells if you try transte everything you receive from others and try to implement on your personal life, all you need is to take what benefits you from others and help yourself with it while keeping the rest tucked away in your personal mental library where you can search through whenever you're looking for help in the future... not all advice is good advice but nothing is more expensive than timely advice.

  "If you think about it... The satisfaction you'd give Mr. Charles by patiently listening to him and showing him that you're trying to gain from the wisdom which he's wasting precious time of his finite life to hand you for free is already a win while what you manage to transte is and endless source for you to excavate in the future long after he's six feet under.

  "However, the reason I'm saying that you're right is because youth is bold and we need that fearless spirit to be able to do something with it so that when comes the day you're of simir age to Mr. Charles you'd be set for the rest of your life without having to worry about the future or look back and ment about the energy you wasted for years pursuing shadows.

  "Still... the key your uncle has been trying to hand you to open these doors is the wisdom which you can arm yourself with to avoid making the same mistakes.

  "Another undeniable truth is that history always repeats itself, it's just that... we try to convince ourselves otherwise." Bryan fell silent after saying that and the matter of the Zombie outbreak weighed heavily on his chest.

  Kyle and Jessica exchanged a look but it had all they needed to say to one another.

  'This Bryan O'Neal is someone worthy of my service, I was wrong about him... completely wrong!' Jessica thought to herself while remembering how she used to think that he's just a young man who somehow or another found a way to make himself extremely rich and is extremely powerful for some reason, not to mention that she used to think he's hitting on her.

  But once Jessica got to hear him oversimplifying extremely complicated philosophical topics to such a degree she immediately realized that this fellow is a thinker and his world views make a lot of sense.
