She had to crane her neck up to look at the robot's face which was just a smooth dark gray faceplate. From the top of his head to the back, a few ridges were tastefully positioned as if small mountains, rich green panels travelling down his black forest green neck and hands. He wore an emerald suit over his chiseled figure, the vest adorned with beautiful golden embroidery.
"Wow, your vest is so beautiful! It is nice!" Lily exclaimed, surprised at how she felt startled. It was just….
She had never met someone this handsome before!
"Oh, thank you for noticing. It is from my favorite tailor."
"The emerald is wondrous. Each color is so perfectly vibrant."
He paused at her awed voice, so quiet and appreciating. He tilted his head. "Do you want it?"
Lily smiled, finding the question amusing. "I doubt green is going to suit me well."
"Then what would suit you?"
"I am not sure. I secretly hope for lavender to be my perfect color."
He rubbed his chin in unserious contemplation. "Hm, I knew I should have chosen the purple vest in the morning then."
"Hehe, purple on you would look a little funny."

The top of his faceplate rose. "Oh? Would it now? Please elaborate."
Lily imagined him clad in purple instead. "It would clash with your green and you would look like a growing eggplant."
"An eggplant?!" Shock colored his voice. "I would rather prefer something a lot more sophisticated than an eggplant."
Lily quietly giggled. In the back of his mind, he found it a little endearing.
"You are right. You would look like dozens of stacked grapes."
"That is somehow a lot worse."
Her disk shaped coworker jumped when she spotted her, and rushing over, bumped into her ankle warningly. Lily jolted before slowly glancing up at her company laxly standing, looming over her in an almost observing stance. He indeed screamed sophistication and his expensive garments only made him glitter with elegance.
She waved her hands. "Oh, but you would still look graceful and suave. You would obviously look great! I was just sharing-" she halted, understanding she was overstepping a line with someone who conversed so casually with the Marquis and his friends. "-joking. Please excuse me."
Lily nodded her head before turning around and practically bolting.
