As a great and glorious socialist country with Chinese characteristics, the levels of our leading cadres are also very characteristic. Even university presidents or editors-in-chief of People's Daily have administrative levels... Friends who are interested in official positions must understand this common sense.

I'm not very enthusiastic about politics. I like Einstein's saying: "Politics is ephemeral, equations are eternal." In the future, the development model of small government and big society may abolish more and more official hats.

For example, if the mayor of Zhangjiagang City is an official at the deputy departmental level, but is also a member of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee's Standing Committee, then they are considered to be at the vice-ministerial level.

As usual, senior cadres are often transferred to corresponding levels of the People's Congress and CPPCC to take on leadership positions after the age of 60 or 65, commonly known as "retreating to the second line" ——

Generally, undergraduate colleges and universities are at the departmental level, while specialized colleges are at the deputy departmental level. As of January 2005, only 31 universities in China were at the deputy ministerial level.
