Chapter 14: The Epilogue
Luke and Elise were driving in Luke’s repaired pickup. The front end had been replaced and the radiator system. Luke and Elise were listening to D12 as they rolled down the streets.
They pulled up outside the parking lot of the theme park and walked inside.
They walked up to the front gates and saw a shrine. The shrine had framed photographs, candles and old bouquets of flowers. Luke put down a joint by the shrine and pulled out another. He started smoking it with Elise and they hugged. Luke pulled out a bluetooth speaker and they listened to some songs by the shrine until it got dark.
Later that night, Luke arrived at Troy’s house. He walked inside and found Troy in his garage playing video games with Daniel. Luke and Elise sat down on a couch and they played split screen on a zombie shooter.
The toilet flushed and the short grey alien emerged from the bathroom. The alien picked up a rolling paper and started to roll a joint.

“Pass, the, Lighter, Eep,” The alien said. Luke and Elise gasped, and Daniel tossed the lighter to the short grey man.
A picture of the boys altogether during one of their parties was framed on the wall above them.
In Troy’s back yard, beneath a tarp, a small rudimentary ufo was being built.
In Russia, the astronaut was dropped off in a taxi to his home. After months of questioning and quarantine, he walked into his house, kissed his wife and lifted his toddler into the air.
In Pacific Village, a large cover up was made for the deaths, it was all chalked up to a vicious bear attack. The news covered it for a while but then moved on when the next car chase took the nation’s attention. The events of Thunder Park were hidden from the public, the UFO was removed, and the crater was filled with gravel. The crime scenes were cleaned and the cars were towed away.
Some say though, that the monsters still live there. They say if you visit at night, you can hear an inhuman beast howl. Thunder Park is located next to one of the largest national forests in Los Angeles.
The forest is a better home for a wolf anyways.
