Meeting Jinbei

Knowing Haki is a must in the second half of the Grand Line, and even with the wood release, he won't be able to survive here that well. The only pce that he knows he can learn Haki is Amazon Lily, but the isnd is occupied entirely by women, and they likely wouldn't take kindly to a man entering their home. Even if he were to go back to Sabaody and find Rayleigh, he cannot guarantee that he would teach him. After all, he is not the protagonist here.

In addition to Haki and fighting skills, he can learn some swordsmanship as well. But the only decent pce he knows is the Isshin Dojo in East Blue, Shimotsuki Vilge. There he might meet Zoro and Kuina as well. But it is simply unrealistic for him to go all the way to East Blue safely. And except for the Rokushiki from the Marines and the Hasshoken from the Happo Navy, he doesn't know about any other martial arts.Seeing the future being bleak made him look a little dull for Fisher. He patted his shoulder and asked, "Why don't you come along with me and then make your pns?" Chu Yang was surprised "Where to? Fishmen Isnd?" "No, if we go to Fishman Isnd now we might implicate them negatively. The World Government might become more aggressive with the Fishmen and I don't want that," replied Fisher.

"That's true," said Chu Yang. Fisher asked, "So, want to go out in the sea with me?" With the Sun pirates? He didn't have any other good options, so he agreed to his invitation. The two sneaked into the port stole another pirate ship and set sail. With only two people and Chu Yang having no sailing experience, Fisher bought a three-person sailboat which was easy to sail. Neither had any problem stealing from someone else and got ready to leave.

As they were leaving, they heard someone say "Ani, where are you going? We have been waiting for you for a long time." They both turned back and saw a group of fishmen led by a sturdy blue fishman. Chu Yang instantly recognized him, the future Shichibukai Jinbei. Looking at the fire in the Holy Land, Jinbei assumed that Fisher succeeded in his task. "While we can't stop you from rescuing them, you can't stop us from helping you as well."

Fisher was angry with their recklessness. "Ani, we will follow even if the other Marines hunt you down." "I've long since despised those humans, we'll take them head on this time." The fishmen all started to boo. While Fisher was moved by their enthusiasm, he knew he had to take them along as well otherwise they still would follow him anyway. "I'm sorry kid, but we're going to have some company along our journey," said Fisher to Chu Yang.

It was only then that the others noticed the human that was accompanying Fisher as their expressions turned sour. Only Jinbei didn't have much of an expression, since he didn't have much of an impression of him. One of the fishman from the group emerged and asked "Ani, who is this kid?" "Arlong, his name is Chu Yang, and he escaped from Mary Geoise and helped me along the way."

"Even helped Ani?" Arlong who was quite young had quite the grudge against him. He looked at Chu Yang unkindly as he asked "Ani, do you trust this human to come with us? What if he betrays us in the future?" As soon as he said that the other fishmen agreed with him, as they vehemently expressed their dissatisfaction. Faced with such btant hostility, Chu Yang hardened his expression and got ready if there was a battle. He killed the Jailers, he can deal with them as well. Besides he would hold back for Fisher's sake.

"Shut up!" roared Fisher "Do you want me to be an ungrateful bastard like those filth!" The other backed down save for Arlong, who was still gring at him. "Look at my age, do you think I would do anything bad?" Ch Yang knew if wants to gain a foothold, he needed to humor Arlong a little bit. Feeling the awkward atmosphere Jinbei intervened "Ani, some of them have been hunted by humans and are very wary. I hope you can understand."

Fisher sighed, of course, he understood their issue. He didn't have much of a good impression of humans to begin with. If Chu Yang Hadn't helped him back them, he probably would have been silent by now. Later, Chu Yang boarded the ship with the fishmen. They had prepared before arriving here, as Fisher hoisted the Sun pirates' fg on the ship. Standing on the deck, Fisher asked for his name for the first time with a smile on his face.

"My name is Chu Yang," he said confidently. "A very unique name." Although it was difficult to pronounce, Fisher made sure to remember it well. With the wind blowing on the deck, Chu Yang wanted to go and get some rest. Arlong jumped with enthusiasm and volunteered to take him there. Seeing his enthusiasm, Fisher felt as if their retionship improved. Chu Yang hid a smirk as he didn't bother revealing his pn to others.

Arlong led him to the cabin, quickly bypassing the living area and reaching the storage area. He suddenly turned and sneered with an indifferent expression "Kid, you didn't think I would take you to the cabins, did you?" Arlong that he might him scared, but all he got was an amused expression. Arlong is still young and not even strong as a novice-level Boss figure, and even if he was, he would still get beaten by him.

Failing in intimidation, he threatened him "You better get off the ship while I'm still in a generous mood." Chu Yang ignored his nonsense and raised his hand as roots came out of it, as it restricted his entire body. The roots started crushing his body as it slowly broke his bones "Devil fruit user?" Arlong croaked out. Chu Yang ignored him as he squeezed harder and blood flew out of his nose and mouth. Arlong's internal organs were slowly getting crushed as Chu Yang smiled in satisfaction. Arlong was regretting his decision now.
