Cyan - Hello there little buddy!
He looked at a Machop while saying it. The Machop looked weirded out by it. As Cyan tried to pet it, the Machop punched him right in the face.
Cyan - OUCH!
Lime - How's it going?
Cyan - My face feels broken, but other than that I'm doing really well. Why do we have to get a Pokémon again?
Lime – Without one, it will be pretty unlikely for us to make it out of this darn forest. The wild Pokémon will get too strong for just the two of us. If we were to not get any, our odds of making it out of here unharmed would be quite low.
Cyan stopped listening and laid down, he was planning on taking a nap.
Cyan – Well, I'd say I've done enough searching for a Pokémon for the day.
Lime – Of course you sleep now.
Cyan – I'm not sleeping, just taking a nap.
Lime – How can you not be worried? We've been stuck out here for what feels like hours!
Cyan – I'm sure we will get out of here in no time! We just need some good Pokémon! What about that Weedle there?
He happily pointed at a Weedle that was laying down on a rock near them and enjoying the sunshine.
Lime – A Weedle? ... It's pretty weak, not quite the best option for us.
Cyan got closer to the Weedle and continued pointing at it with a straight face, trying not to show his excitement. The Weedle just looked back at him with confusion, but also a bit of excitement. Then, Cyan dropped his serious face.
Cyan – Hey little buddy! Wanna joins us on getting out of here?
The Weedle looked slightly more confused at him, but then it also smiled happily back at him, as if it was trying to tell him that it would like to join the two of them.
Cyan – Oh my gosh he said yes, Lime! He said yes!
Lime – He didn't really say yes, but alright.
Cyan put Weedle on his shoulder and petted it.
Cyan – Now that we have me figured out, what Pokémon will you be having?
Lime – Me? I'm not sure about me. I don't think I could handle a Pokémon.
Cyan stared at Lime with disappointing eyes. Meanwhile, Weedle got distracted by a swarm of Rookidees that were flying above them.
Cyan – I am sure little cutie Weedle is strong, but not that strong! We can't get out of here with only him.
Lime – Well then what do you want me to do? There probably isn't even a Pokémon here that would like to join me.
Cyan's expression kept on getting more disappointed with every word that Lime uttered. Then, all of a sudden, a wounded Rookidee fell out of the swarm that was flying above them, right onto Weedle.
Cyan – What about this Rookidee that just landed on my shoulder?
He picked up the Rookidee which was partially unconscious, just like Weedle, who also got unconscious from the impact. Cyan held the Rookidee in front of Limes face who looked at it with a defeated look.

Cyan – It wants to.
Lime - HOW DO YOU WANNA KNOW THAT!?!
Cyan's expression changed to a big smile and Lime's to a big disappointment.
Cyan – I just have a feeling! And usually, my feeling isn't wrong!
Lime – I don't think that's true. You're clearly just lying to me.
Cyan – I would never! Or well, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't lie to you. Just trust my good ol' feeling. And as you know, my feeling usually isn't wrong.
Knowing that Cyan's gut feeling was only right 50% of the time, Lime looked at the poor Rookidee and took it into his arms.
Lime – Rookidee. You don't have to decide if you want to join us right now. You can decide once we get you healthy again. Until then, I will protect you.
Cyan – And with that our squad is all complete! So, what's next on the to do list?
Lime – Maybe get the two conscious again?
Cyan – That does sound like a good plan! You don't just randomly have any potions or so on you, that may help?
Lime – I do, in fact, not have any. My backpack is basically empty, expect for a compass and a map.
Cyan – Oh right, and all I have in mine is my good old and reliable pocket lamp!
Weedle slowly started to open its eyes again, unlike Rookidee, who was still unconscious.
Cyan – My Weedle is back awake, so let's start doing stuff!
Lime – We need healing berries, like an Aguav Berry or a Figy Berry.
Cyan – Well then where could we find those? Weedle, you seem to have been here the longest, so would you happen to know where a healing berry is?
Weedle thought about it for a second and remembered where to find some berries that could help. So he started waddling his way towards the berries.
Cyan – Show us the way wormy worm!
Weddle went north of their location, so Cyan and Lime started following him with Rookidee in Limes arms.
Lime – What do we do in case of an angry wild Pokémon?
Cyan – I'm sure Weedle got all of this handled!
Weedle was getting distracted by a Seedot walking by and accidently bumped into a tree.
Cyan – I think we're here! Where are these berries? Maybe on the tree that Weedle showed us? Look! There are some!
He picked up a yellow and red colored berry, a Figy Berry, and stuffed it in Rookidees beak. Rookidee slowly started to get conscious again but was confused, due to the side effects of the Figy Berry.
Cyan – Why does it look like it's doing better but also not?
Lime – The side effects of the berry, it heals a good amount, but some Pokémon also get confused by it.
Cyan – Oh... so it's like, really bad? I'll throw the other ones I picked up away then.
Lime – Wha? Did you listen to me? It just gets some Pokémon confused! We should take some with us, in case we need healing. It might not have any side effects for Weedle too.
They gathered all the seven berries they saw and moved onward through the forest.
Cyan – How long do you think we have, before we make it out of this forest?
Lime – We started 5 minutes ago... According to my map and compass, we need at least an hour to get to Jojuji-town. And that is only the first of five layers.
Cyan – Layers? Towns? I thought the only thing in this forest was forest!
Lime – This is the biggest forest in the region!And the further you get through the layers the stronger the Pokémon. We willprobably be stuck in this forest for at least a week! As so many wild Pokémonlive here and as the forest is so dense, no cars or trains or so are allowed inhere.
Cyan – What? But then why would people bother living here?
Lime – I don't know? Maybe they just like trees.
The two started arguing until they bumped into a Snorlax. The Snorlax was sleeping next to a tree, in a small open field where it was almost impossible to not see the sleeping Snorlax.
Cyan – It's so fluffy and so big, almost like a giant pillow! I'm taking a nap on it!
He jumped on the Snorlax, made himself comfortable and closed his eyes.
Lime – ARE YOU SERIOUSLY TAKING A NAP NOW?!?
Cyan – We've been going for so long, I need a break!
Lime – It's been like 15 minutes! We're not even half way to Jojuji town! And you just had a nap, how are you possibly tired?
Cyan – I just am.
Weedle crawled up the Snorlax and took a nap next to Cyan. Rookidee was also taking a nap on Limes hands.
Cyan – Just take a quick nap! It's still about the middle of the day so we'll get to Jojuji-town before nightfall!
Lime – Fine... I guess a little nap won't hurt too much...
All four of them cuddled up together on the big Snorlax and fell asleep. A few hours later, as the sun went down, Lime woke up again.
Lime – WE OVERSLEPT! Wake up, you blue nightmare!
Cyan and their Pokémon slowly woke up too.
Cyan – I think we overslept.
Lime – YOU THINK? Now we have to go to Jojuji-town tomorrow...
Cyan – What are you talking about? We can still go at night!
Lime – But it will be even more dangerous at night!
Cyan – It'll be fine, don't worry about it.
