...?
Where...am...I...?
It was dark and quiet.
He grew more confused as the seconds passed by.
He couldn't see anything, hear nothing, and nor could he even move.
Kidnapped? Am I kidnapped!? Such was the thought that flashed inside the boy's restless mind.
How!? I was just...at...
And his mind halted.
As if a circuit inside his brain was met with a sturdy wall, his thoughts bounced back, failed in his attempt to recall the simple detail he usually could.
What the!?
Something was awfully wrong. The boy felt it.
There was a huge gap...A chasm, inside his mind that felt out of place.
He could think normally, but things like his name, where he came from, or even the simplest thing about his past were unknown...Hidden from him...
He grew alarmed rapidly.
Nothing make any sense to him, and his current situation in which he couldn't even feel anything only made it worse.
Alongside the anxiety that had shown its ugly fang, the boy felt his consciousness dwindling weak.
He could feel his mind slowly slipping past him, and coupled with everything that was going on, the boy assumed the worst...
Fearing for his life, he tried to hang on to his mind.
I...Don't want to die...Don't sleep, Damn it...
Stretching his will, the boy was able to keep holding on for a good measure.
Even so, though his effort was commendable, he couldn't keep holding on forever.
And soon...
Fuck...is this the end...?
Unwillingly, the boy felt the deep darkness swallow his mind whole...
***
Shit, that scared the living hell out of me!
The boy cursed himself at the fact that he just fainted, not died.
Refreshed, he gathered and composed himself, trying to look at his situation with a clearer head.
Still can't see anything and hear nothing...And I can't move...

He tried to move but failed.
Not only did his body refuse to move, it was more in line to he couldn't even feel his body.
Did they put me on some kind of drugs!? Fuck!
He screamed with profanity inwardly for some good minutes to vent out his feelings. And when he was done, the boy tried to reign in his emotions back once again.
The gears in his brain were turning and working hard, trying to recall just why he was in such a horrifying situation in the first place.
And he failed...
The boy was met with a similar sensation as before. He couldn't recall anything and that weird feeling of disconnection that persisted inside his mind frustrated the boy to no end.
Met with a dead end even after trying for some time, he put it to rest and tried to think about the present instead.
He wanted to escape...
I don't know why they just keep me like this, but I couldn't put my life in these fuckers hands and hoping they would go easy on me when the time comes...
Hey! Someone!! Anyone!?
He shouted, cursing, and screamed, hoping to at least a different result.
But nothing...
Not even a response. To make matters worse, it was unclear whether someone even heard him, as he couldn't feel himself screaming.
The sense of vibration someone felt in their throat when they were talking was lost on the boy.
Argh! Not this again!
He felt strange and the familiar feeling when his mind began blanking out repeated once again.
Only this time, the boy resigned himself more easily and not hang on for his dear life.
***
Time moved on albeit unclear and blurry...
Nothing had changed much for the boy.
Everything was still a mystery to the boy.
He couldn't figure out why he was there, what happened to him, who he was, and what would happen to him in the future.
If there was a thing that caught his desperate mind, was the fact that the period in which he fainted grew less and less.
It used to be more frequent, but as he found himself not fainting so much anymore, the time he stayed awake grew longer.
Then again, he himself couldn't be sure about it. For all the boy knew, unable to see, hear, nor feel, time itself was ambiguous to him.
For all he knew, his mind was on the verge of breaking already, and seconds might feel like minutes if not hours to him.
So, maybe, the period in which he fainted had not changed, only his sense of time that grew more ambiguous.
Little by little, he felt his limit encroaching close.
Fucking psychopath...I'd rather be killed than to be tortured like this...
He felt like he was going crazy...
And the one thing that he found comfort in, was to resigned himself to the gnawing hatred.
Hatred to the mysterious individual who kept him in such a wretched fate.
But even that didn't last long, and soon the boy had inched ever so closer to his breaking point.
And right when he had lost all hope, resigning his fate to the helplessness that took hostage of him, the boy finally saw the light.
For the first time in what felt like an eternity to him, he saw a touch of light grow bigger and wider until a world was born out of it.
A real fleshed world unlike the sickening darkness he was in for who knew how long.
...? What the...?
It took a good couple of seconds before the boy could register what had happened to him.
I could see...?
Before he could make do of what was what, he felt a sudden suction from within, and suddenly a foreign yet familiar influx of information exploded in his mind.
It was broken in pieces and he could tell that there was more to it, but when he finished the process, the boy finally had some clue albeit vague at best to his current predicament.
And two things were resonating strongly inside him more than any invasive thoughts due to the result of his newfound memories.
