Chapter 2 - Time Flies By

Naruto’s Brother - Time Flies By

“Just like that a month has gone by, hasn’t it Naruto” I said in my best baby voice as the 1 month old Naruto babbled cutely at me.

The little shit had gone from a quiet and cute baby to a fucking terror on my existence. Remember when I said something or other about he having a lot of energy.

I jinxed myself it seems. I was expecting the little demon to already be moving. He was crawling already. I was sure that was supposed to be like a year old or something.

I was currently sat crossed legged in the training room on the sparring mat. I had been meditating but then Naruto had woken up and demanded my attention. I need the Shadow Clone Jutsu so bad.

I had done a lot in this month. My relationship with Itachi has improved. My Taijutsu has improved. Thanks to Itachi I’ve grown quite a bit.

But easily the best thing that has happened is my progress with the Seal. I’ve been inspecting every single time I meditated. I’ve been probing it with chakra and I had a break through recently, a few days ago in fact.

Naruto wakes me up a lot at night so I haven’t been able to do anything yet with what I learned. I managed to figure out how to get into the seal. I have a feeling I was right with both of my assumptions.

That the prison that Naruto’s sees is both his mind and his seal. His seal is what brings him in and allows him to be in there. Or at least that’s the assumption I’ve come to.

Whether it’s right or not I will soon find out.

However I have something else to deal with first.

I picked up Naruto and chuckled to myself as the knock sounded from the front door “Punctual as ever” I mumbled fondly to myself as I moved to my front door and opened.

I smiled at Itachi who nodded back, only this time was different. Someone else was with him this time. I knew who it was immediately but I couldn’t really say I did.

“Who’s this Itachi?” I asked as I looked at the Uchiha beside him. Naruto was still fast asleep, cradled in my arms.

“I’m Shisui Uchiha” the Genin Uchiha said as he gave me a nod “Itachi has told me a bit about you” Shisui said.

“He’s a friend of mine” Itachi clarified.

I gave Itachi a fake hurt look “Itachi! How could you! How dare you cheat on me so” I said as I held Naruto with one hand and put the back of my hand to my forehead like I was going to faint.

Shisui raised an eyebrow curiously at my performance as Itachi gave me a deadpan look.

“Once again I ask how you are allowed to raise a child” Itachi said. He sounded serious but I knew he was joking. I had infected him you could say.

I grinned at them both as I went back to holding Naruto with both my arms.

“Cause I’m awesome and you know it. Come on in then” I said as I stepped aside to let the Uchiha in.

They both walked in, Itachi simply walked past whilst Shisui gave me a nod as he walked by.

I shut the door and followed Itachi to the training ground.

I tucked Naruto into his cot and then turned to the two Uchiha “so what’s with the visit?” I asked Shisui as I walked over to them.

“I’ve been training with Shisui a lot but I think you’ve reached a decent level so I think it’d be a better idea if we all train together” Itachi explained.

“I can see the Hitai-Ate” I said as I pointed at Shisui’s forehead where his leaf Hitai-Ate sat.

"Shisui here is at least a Genin. Why do you want to train with us?” I asked curiously.

Shisui simply smiled “Itachi is a friend and I like training with him. He says similar things about you.”

I shrugged “I mean I ain’t complaining, just curious” I said. Shisui nodded in response.

“Shall we get started?” I asked Itachi who nodded.

“Yeah let’s” Shisui said as he cracked his knuckles with a smirk.

I laid on the floor of the sparring mat, panting heavily.

“You have a lot of stamina. It’s quite impressive” Shisui said as he walked over and stood above me, a smile on his face as he reached a hand down to me.

I gave him a half hearted glare as I grabbed his hand. He pulled me to my feet as he let out a small chuckle.

“Oh fuck me” I said as I bent over and put my hands on my knees as I continued to pant. I felt horrid.

Shisui laughed slightly. I looked to my side to see Itachi giving me a smirk.

“Goddamn Prodigies” I muttered to myself with a grimace.

Shisui gave Itachi a curious look “he says that whenever he gets thoroughly beaten” he explained.

I stood up as I pointed an accusatory finger at Itachi “no I don’t. I say it when I get beaten by overpowered sweats!” I said as I glared at him.

“Sweats?” Shisui asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Don’t bother” Itachi said as he walked over and shook his head “he says it all the time and yet refuses to elaborate” Itachi said as he gave me a frustrated look.

I simply smirked and blew raspberries at him before I promptly turned around and strolled over to Naruto’s cot “lazy bastard” I said as I looked down at the sleeping baby.

“You learned any more Jutsu yet?” I asked Itachi as I turned around.

Itachi shook his head “I’ve been trying to perfect the Great Fireball Jutsu.”

“How so?” I asked, a bit curious by what “perfect” meant.

“I want to try and get the amount of chakra I output to be the perfect amount needed for the Jutsu.” Itachi explained.

Shisui nodded “it’s a good way to increase spiritual energy and more importantly chakra control” he said.

“Have you been practicing your chakra control?” Itachi asked me and I nodded in response.

“Damn right I have. It’s the best way for me to advance right now what with my amazing reserves” I said with a cheeky smile.

Itachi rolled his eyes and Shisui simply smirked.

“Hey Shisui?” I said, Shisui gave me his attention “do you know the Shadow Clone Jutsu?” I asked.

Shisui raised an eyebrow and shook his head “I don’t, not yet anyway” he said and I nodded.

Soon the two were on the way out of my home, I waved bye to them as they left, Naruto in my arms. I brought him upstairs and to the bathroom as I set him down in a mini cot.

Kushina seemed to have bought a cot specifically for every important room.

I set him down and then quickly went to my bedroom and got a change of clothes before I had a shower and then got dried with a towel in the bathroom.

I got dressed and then headed downstairs as I set Naruto in another cot and began making some food for myself.

Naruto had woken up at this point but he surprisingly wasn’t crying for my attention so I continued cooking.

As I sat down to begin eating, I heard a knock sound from the front door.

I hummed in curiosity as I got up and walked to the front door. I opened it up “Jiji?” I said questioningly. I had expected this and I knew I needed to react similar.

Hiruzen Sarutobi, dressed in his Hokage outfit smiled warmly at me as he stood at the door.

“Hello Kami. I apologise for not being able to visit sooner, the village has required a lot of help after the… attack. How are you doing?” Hiruzen asked.

“Do you want to talk inside? I have just cooked my food so I want to eat it before it gets cold” I said.

Hiruzen nodded slightly. He didn’t show a single indication as to what his thoughts were. He simply smiled.

I walked in and he followed, closing the door behind himself.

“Naruto has been good. He is surpassingly lazy when he wants to be” I said as I sat down and gestured to the sleeping baby Naruto.

Hiruzen walked over as he smiled down at Naruto “are you sure you still don’t want any help?” He asked as he moved over and sat across from me.

“No. The cleaners are enough. I have no idea who you get to restock the food but they are very helpful as well” I said with a slight smile as I began eating.

“One of the Anbu assgined to you restock your house” Hiruzen explained.

“Ah” I then looked at the ceiling “thanks Anbu” I said. I had no clue if they could hear me or not but I felt I had to thank them anyway.

“So you here just to check on me and Naruto?” I asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Not only that. I have wanted to check on you for awhile but I have only just found the time. The Anbu reported you were doing well so I decided to trust their judgment” Hiruzen said.

“Then what else you here for? Is it something to do with Itachi or Shisui?” I asked as I kept eating. I was a bit worried he’d tell or ask me to stop training with them.

“No not at all. I am glad you are making friends, they will help you a lot” Hiruzen said as he smiled at me.

“The truth is I am unsure if I should be asking this so early but form what I’ve heard from the Anbu, you’ve been showing great determination in regards to becoming stronger” Hiruzen said.

I nodded “father asked something of me and I intend to keep my promise.” I said.

Hiruzen nodded “Yes that is what is driving my decision. I wish to offer you something. Your answer to my next question will not stop me from giving you the offer but it will change some aspects of it” Hiruzen said.

“What do you think about becoming Hokage someday in the future?” Hiruzen asked.

I raised an eyebrow at that question “And your asking a 5 year old this?” I couldn’t help but blurt out ‘my stupid mouth’ I thought to myself as I grimaced.

Hiruzen chuckled slightly “Yes I know it is sudden and frankly a dumb idea but I can’t help but ask. I have been in active duty as a Shinobi and Hokage for a long time Kami. I’m getting old and it’s starting to effect my work.” Hiruzen smiled at me.

“I’m getting sloppier in my old age and I need to find a replacement soon. It is unfortunate that I have so few options. The best options curerntly have no interest in being Hokage or are unable to” Hiruzen explained.

“It feels wrong to ask a child to think about this. I don’t want an answer anytime soon Kami. I want you to think about it first.” Hiruzen said.

I nodded in understanding as I finished eating my food. I stood up with the plate and put it in the sink to wash later. I sat back down as my mind raced.

“Now to get onto the main topic. The academy will start in around a month and I assume you will be going?” Hiruzen asked and I nodded.

“Great. Then my offer. I want you to be my apprentice, starting in a week or so once I have sorted things out with the village. If you end up accepting and intend to be the next Hokage then I’ll terach you how to be a Shinobi and how to be a Hokage. If you choose not to then I’ll teach you to be a Shinobi” Hiruzen said as he smiled at me.

I practically grinned at him as I hopped up in my chair and stood on it in excitement “You’ll train me?!” I asked excitedly.

I couldn’t help but be excited. I didn’t like Hiruzen in the anime or manga. I understood why he kept his distance form Naruto but it still pissed me off, even more so now Naruto was my brother.

But being trained by a God of Shinobi is too fucking awesome.

“I have a feeling you have already agreed” Hiruzen said with a chuckle.

“Damn right!” I said as I gave the man a smirk “can’t wait to get started Sensei!” I said with a grin.

“Well I can teach you something right now. It will be immensely helpful and I imagine will be a great help. The Shadow Clone Jutsu” Hiruzen said with a smile.

I smirked to myself as I hopped to my feet and cracked my knuckles.

Hiruzen stood up and formed the Clone seal by putting his index and middle up on his right hand and then forming a cross with his left hand middle and index finger.

A puff of smoke appeared beside him and soon revealed a perfect copy of him.

Hiruzen then explained the technique “the Shadow Clone Technique requires an immense amount of chakra to use effectively. It is why it’s an A Rank Technique and only taught to Jonin usually. But with your unique situation it can be a very helpful tool. You must split your chakra in half as you make the clone seal. Then push your chakra through the seal and out. Make your intent clear and say the name of the jutsu” Hiruzen said.

I nodded and made the clone seal. I did as he said but it took a few tries for me to et it right. On the fifth try I had a fully functional clone standing beside me.

“Quite impressive Kami. You learned that quick” Hiruzen said as he gave me a nod.

I smiled at the praise. It was likely because I had such an intimate knowledge of the anime and manga, even the light novels.

I had even watched and read Boruto. I could only watch the manga canon episodes though. The early parts of Boruto were horrid and I didn’t like them.

After the fight with Momoshiki though, things started to pick up and I began to enjoy it quite a bit.

I was honestly not expecting this at all. I could understand his thought process but it was still something I hadn’t expected even a tiny bit.

“Fantastic. Now I do have to go unfortunately. I shall see you again in about a week.” Hiruzen said as he gave me a nod. He said a soft goodbye to the sleeping Naruto and then left my home.

I hummed in thought at the interaction but soon shrugged. The rest of the day passed by quickly and soon I found myself in my bedroom. Naruto had woken up and had required my attention for a few hours.

I managed to tire him out and he was soon back to sleeping by night time came around. I was sat cross legged on my bed as I meditated.

I had been interacting with my seal for a long time now. I had been trying for a long time now to get some sort of reaction.

It was a shook when I suddenly felt a pull form the seal and then I felt a rush of vertigo as I went from a sitting position to a laid down position.

I shot up as I sputtered as water began to seep into my mouth. I found myself submerged in some water in a pipe of some kind. It was clearly the underground complex Naruto usually visited.

I got up with a sigh as I looked down at my wet clothes. I grumbled in annoyance as I began walking. I felt the presence of Kurama with ease. The malice and hatred were very prominent.

A sense of determination I had never felt before shot through my body. My fists clenched at my sides as I strode forward with purpose.

In this moment I wasn’t the man who was way out of his depth in a world where death is around every corner.

I knew what I had to do.

I loved Kurama. He was easily one of my favorite characters in the entire world of Naruto and I felt for him. I wanted to end that pain he had, I wanted to help him. And I wanted him to be a friend of mine.

I stepped foot into the chamber in which the large cage that sealed Kurama stood.

I could see darkness surrounding two large red eyes that glared at me with hatred. I smiled, determined to end that hatred.

Who was this brat who dared to strut in here like he owned the place.

The red head had an insufferable smile on his face as if he knew something Kurama didn’t. He was the Kyuubi. JHe had lived for generations.

“Brat” He growled out as he stalked up to the cage bars that held him in.

His form was revealed to the brat and yet he saw no intimidation in the brat’s face. He was either stupid or highly overconfident.

“Who do you think you are?” Kurama asked with a growl as his voice rumbled through the room, practically shaking the walls as dark red chakra bubbled around his body.

“I’m Kami Uzumaki. I’m the son of the man who sealed you as I’m sure you already knew” Kami said.

Kurama furrowed his brows. There was something off about the boy. The way he held himself. He wasn’t a child in over his head. He wasn’t an arrogant brat.

He was simply confident in himself.

“I came here for one reason and one reason only” Kami said as he smiled up at the Kyuubi.

“Oh… And what is that?” Kurama couldn’t help but ask.

“To help you. To get rid of your hatred. To be your friend.” Kami said softly as he gave the Kyuubi a gentle smile.

Kurama almost laughed out loud at the absurdity of the statement but he was stopped by the next words out of the boy’s mouth.

“That is all I want… Kurama” Kami said as he stepped up to the bars and smiled up at the imposing form of the Nine Tailed Fox.

“What… did you just say?” Kurama as he stared down at the boy in shook. He had never expected that and it was clear on the his face.

Kami seemed to have expected this.

“I know what you must be thinking. You must be confused. At how I know your name, Kurama” Kami said.

“I know a lot more than your name. I know you were created by Hagoromo Otsutsuki, using his Creation of all Things Technique. I know he created the tailed beast by splitting the chakra of the Ten Tails. I know he sealed Kaguya Otusutsuki in the moon with his brother Hamura” Kami said, dropping bombshell after bombshell on the tailed beast.

“H-How” Kurama said. He was unable to utter anymore words. A 5 year old should not be capable of knowing that information. It was impossible.

“It’s a long story Kurama. I will explain it all to you. Like I said before, I want to be your friend” Kami said as he smiled at the Kyuubi.

“Then get on with it, Brat” Kurama growled as he glared down at the kid.

Kami chuckled as he nodded in understanding.

I was leaning back against one of the cage bars, my head resting back. I felt a rush of air as Kurama let out a sigh from above me.

“You are truly from another world?” Kurama said. He had been digesting the information I had told him for awhile now. He had listened intently as I told him of my other life and then of teh future of this world.

About the Akatsuki, about Naruto, everything I could remember which was a practically most of the show, manga and light novels. I left out Boruto on account of his death in it.

“I’m sure you understand how insane this is right?” Kurama said and I laughed slightly at that.

“That’s an understatement if I’ve ever heard one” I said with a small chuckle.

“It makes a surprising amount of sense. You know too much for a 5 year old. I highly doubt you’ve been possessed or something. I would have noticed something wrong.” He paused for a few seconds as he stared down at me.

“Fine I believe you brat for now anyway. Why did you decide to tell me?” Kurama asked.

“I already told you. I know what you’ve been through. I know you didn’t attack the Leaf. I know you were controlled by Obito. I know your hatred is justified. I want to be your friend, I want to be someone you can rely on. Kurama I want your help.” I said as I smiled at him.

Kurama let out a sigh “With saving the world I assume?” Kurama asked.

“Damn right. Only the hardest tasks for the strongest tailed beast” I said with a playful grin.

Kurama grinned back at me “Fine then brat. I’ll help you, I don’t trust you yet but I won’t actively fight you” He stared at me for a few seconds “You should get back to the real world” he said and I nodded.

“I’ll visit every night. When we can trust each other, I hope to release the seal so we can truly work together.” I said as I smiled at the Kyuubi. I walked forward as I turned and faced the Kyuubi.

I lifted my hand and made a fist that I pointed it towards Kurama “I hope one day we can stand on the battlefield together. I’ll do all I can to gain your trust. I’m gonna need your help Kurama” I said as he grinned at me.

I then shut my eyes and pulled on the feeling I had in my mind. The feeling of vertigo came again and suddenly I was in my bed. I had expected to wake up to Naruto crying but instead there was silence.

Naruto was still soundly asleep and it seemed not much time had passed. I shrugged and laid down as I got under my quilt and went to sleep. Today had been eventful and productive. It was time to rest.

“Alright Kami, you are read to begin I assume?” Hirzuen asked as he stood across from me on the sparring arena. I nodded in response. A week had gone by pretty quickly.

I kept my word with Kurama and visited each night. He mostly asked questions about the future and tested my knowledge on the past. Itachi and Shisui came over every day as well. I started forcing them to eat some food after our training.

“Alright, I wish to test your chakra control first. You said you’ve been practicing it a lot so let’s see if you can do the academy three.” Hirzuen said.

“Okay Sensei” I said as I smiled at him. He quickly taught me the Jutsu and I began to go through the hand seals to memorize them.

“I’ll try the Clone Technique first since I have experience with Shadow Clones” I said more to myself. I had mainly used the shadow clone jutsu in order to look after Naruto whilst I trained.

I then went through the hand seals. I did Tiger first, then Board, then Ox, then Dog as I funneled chakra into the seals. I used as little as I could and imagined myself. A puff of smoke later and a relatively decent clone showed up.

It wasn’t perfect. Someone with a Sharingan would easily see the differences but it was a good start.

“Well Done. Keep going until it’s perfect.” Hiruzen said. I nodded as I got on with it.

“Whilst you try to do this I want you to engage in a conversation with me as well. You will have to focus on many things in battle and learning to perform Jutsu whilst engaging in another task will help.” Hiruzen said as he smiled at me “have you given any thought to my offer?” Hiruzen asked.

I nodded as I imagined myself and went through the Hand seal and created another clone “still off” Hiruzen said as he inspected my clone.

I sent it away “Yes I’ve given it some thought. Who were the others you thought of?” I asked curiously, I had a feeling I already knew.

  “Jiraiya and Tsunade” he said.

I nodded as another puff of smoke appeared beside me “I am surprised they haven’t decided to visit” I said. I wasn’t but Kami would’ve been.

I honestly found the Sannin kind of pathetic at this point in time. They were all powerful yes. Jiraiya is basically a sexual predator, Tsunade is a medic afraid of blood and Orochimaru is a vile thing, I wouldn’t even call him a person after the shit he’s done.

Tsunade redeems herself well, she becomes badass as fuck and one of the only well written female characters in the show. But at this point in time all I can feel is pity and annoyance towards her.

“The Hokage must be a sound individual in mind. Power is a big part but being able to hold the village on your shoulders is more important. I imagine you want because of who my father and mother were” I said as another puff of smoke appeared beside me. The clone was much better but still not perfect.

“Partly. You have the potential to be a great shinobi, that’s why I offered to train you but it wasn’t the reason I asked you to think about being Hokage. I asked that because of the reports I’ve been getting” Hiruzen said.

That was a half truth. He was using the crystal ball to watch over me as well as the Anbu reports.

“I have heard of your dedication to protecting Naruto and in your training with Itachi. You are showing signs of the Will of Fire” Hiruzen said.

I shook my head as I made another two clones, only a few proportions on the clones face were different.

“No I don’t. I don’t believe the village is my family. Naruto is. My parents were.” I said simply as got rid of the clones and began focusing on the changes I want to make.

Hiruzen simply nodded “you do not wish to be Hokage?” Hiruzen asked.

I shrugged as a puff of smoke appeared beside me. I inspected the clone and found all the details to be accurate, Hiruzen confirmed it.

“I don’t care, if you truly do not have a better option that to train one yourself then I’ll be Hokage but not because I care about the village. I’ll be Hokage because I believe I can make 10 times better that it is.” I said as I turned to Hiruzen.

The man was smiling at me as if he had expected those exact words. I frowned at him and he chuckled slightly.

“You truly are like your mother Kami. Kushina was fiery and always believed she could be better. You truly are your parent’s son” Hiruzen said with a fond smile.

“I guess so” I said as I quickly went through more hand seals and created around 5 perfect clones.

Hiruzen nodded in satisfaction “Once you have gotten down each Jutsu I want you to practice them until you are using the absolute minimal amount of chakra. This is the time to make your foundation as solid as we can so when you become a Genin you will be able to ascend freely” he said with a firm stare.

I nodded as I moved onto the transformation jutsu.

  Dog - Boar - Ram

I went through the three hand seals multiple times as I got a feel for the sequence. I then brought chakra into the mix “Transformation technique” I imagined Hiruzen and then a puff of smoke covered me as I was suddenly taller.

“A good first try” Hiruzen said and I nodded as I canceled the technique and did it again and again.

The day passed quickly as I practiced the three techniques. Soon Hiruzen left but I continued. I let a Shadow Clone take care of Naruto as I trained.

Soon I found myself sat down on my bed as a clone watched Naruto. I sat cross legged as I shut my eyes and pulled on that familiar connection to the seal.

A sense of vertigo struck me as I opened my eyes and smiled up at the giant tailed beast.

Kurama looked down at me with curiosity “Hello Brat” Kurama said.

“Hey Kurama. You got any other questions for me?” I asked as I smiled up at the fox.

“Yes I do. I am surprised I haven’t asked it already. What do you plan to do?” Kurama asked as he gave me a curious stare.

“What do I plan to do?” I repeated as I hummed in thought.

“A lot. I want to stop the fourth ninja war from happening. I want to save some people.” I said with a shrug. I hadn’t put much thought into it but Kurama was the other version. The one Minato had sealed inside of him. The nicer half of Kurama. If I remembered right it was the yin half of Kurama.

“Interesting. I do have to ask something though since you never mentioned it. You talked about the Mangekyou Sharingan, the Rinnegan, and the Byakugan but you never said anything about the Mugen Byakugan” Kurama said.

“The what?” I asked as I gave the demon fox a very confused look.

“Ah I figured this was the case. There are somethings about this world you do not know. Or maybe they are different from what you know. The Mugen Byakugan is the evolution of the Byakugan. Similar to the Mangekyou Sharingan” Kurama explained.

I hummed in thought at that “what can it do?” I asked with a raised eyebrow.

“It enhances visual capabilities even further, allows the Hyuga to disrupt someone’s chakra network if they have direct line of sight and the mos powerful ability is the Twin Lion Chakra Cloak” Kurama explained.

“Chakra Cloak?” I asked as I crossed my arms and gave the fox a curious look.

“As far as I know it increases physical abilities and applies the effect of the Twin Lion Technique to a user’s entire body. The Mugen Byakugan is nowhere near as hard to get as the Mangekyou but it does require a lot of training to acquire” Kurama explained as he gave me a slightly smug look.

I glared at him a little bit. He was always smug when he talked about something I didn’t know or couldn’t remember.

“Is there anything else that’s different?” I asked.

“The only thing I can think of is us Jinchuriki. The powers you described, the chakra cloaks are all unique to me. The other Jinchuriki don’t have them. They instead have hybrid transformations where they can take on properties of their tailed beast” Kurama said as he laid down and rested his head down on his front paws.

I hummed in thought “interesting. I’ll have to look into everything you’ve told me. Is the evolution of the Byakugan common knowledge?” I asked.

“I’m not sure. I don’t think so though. Very few Hyuga have acquired the Dojutsu” Kurama said.

I nodded in understanding as I crossed my arms.

Seemingly a lot of shit had changed. I wasn’t expecting this at all but it isn’t really that surprising that so much has already changed.

My very existence is a massive change on its own.

“Alright thanks Kurama. I’m going to get to sleep now” I said as I went to leave.

“Hold on Brat! I have to say something I think you may like” Kurama said as he gave me a toothy grin.

“What is it?” I asked as I gave him a curious look, one of my eyebrows raised.

“I want to team up with you of course. We should start training together as soon as possible. The faster you get an understanding of tailed beast chakra, the faster you can access my power” he said, the toothy grin still spread across his muzzle.

“I’ve already sort of been practicing with it I guess. The chakra that’s been leaking from the seal, I’ve been helping absorb into my own chakra” I said with a shrug.

Kurama shuck his head “that couldn’t be considered training, it’s too easy. It is unfortunate but we need to weaken the seal first before I can push through enough chakra to actually give you a chance to control it” Kurama said.

I raised an eyebrow with some suspicion on my face. Kurama sighed as he lifted his head form where he had been resting it on his front paws.

“I’m not trying to deceive you. Trust between us will take time to foster. Let me elaborate. The amount of my chakra you can pull on is heavily limited. The seal has only been on you for less than 3 months. Every night when we would usually speak, instead I want you to try and pull more of my chakra form the seal. If you can learn to sort of intertwine your chakra with mine we may just be able to communicate with each other” Kurama said as he stared down at me.

I was still a bit wary of the fox but I shrugged “alright I’ll give it a try” I said as I gave the fox a nod and a wave as I turned and pulled on the feeling that was always present in my mind.

A feeling vertigo and suddenly I was sat crossed legged on my bed. The clone looked over with a curious look.

I chuckled slightly as I smiled at him “Kurama agreed to work with us” I said and he nodded with a grin before he dismissed himself and puffed into smoke.

Naruto was fast asleep. I took a few minutes to process the memories and wait out the headache I got from the process before I laid down and went to sleep.

Things were truly starting to pick up.
