The probes had made contact with Raishin and Elliana after exhausting my mana for 3 days. Raishin was the easiest to get back because he possessed a Dimsha. Now how to get him back was a different story. I had tried various things but he got sucked in after the probe made a tear in the dimensional fabric.

  It was sucking him back to where he belongs which is this dimension. I then tried this too with Elliana but it didn’t work. I was unable to communicate with them through the probe.

  I needed her to feed the little fox mana so it can expand the probe and have Elliana get inside. It would take long but she will be able to get back like that.

  Whoa that was fast!

  I hugged Raishin after he got spat out in our dimension, where he belongs.

  Whoa, what’s up? You seem a bit… different.

  It’s good to have you back. How long have you been there may I ask?

  What do you mean? It didn’t take you 12 days to get me back?

  12 days… I wish. It has been 8 months since you guys got sucked up but I’m glad it was so short for you. I would like to catch up but I need to get the others back. Nilah keep Raishin busy.

  So I’m the first… I will do my best to let you focus.

  Raishin went to play with Nilah. I could focus again and wondered how to get Elliana to feed the little fox mana. She petted the little fox and it stole her mana. I guess this works. The probe got larger and it created a seat. This must make it clear what the intent is. Elliana got the message and got in. Warping her back wasn’t an option currently. My mana was low as I had used all my and Nilah’s mana to expedite the probe’s progress.

  Raishin, can you feed Nilah mana?

  Is that a good idea? You seem as if you can collapse at any moment.

  I will rest after I get Elliana back. I still have to find Greg.

  Ok… just know that I will knock you out if you don’t rest after Elliana is back.

  How reliable.

  Raishin fed Nilah mana, which she sent to me. I could chain warp the probe but that would still take too long. I used [Elgard Overload] to drastically cut down on time. I needed more than one [Elgard Overload] since this would take more than 8 minutes so I started a dangerous cheat. I would use [Elgard Overload] again in my last overpowered window and I would keep doing that until Elliana was here.

  My first overload passed and I went into the second and third. Elliana arrived after the 53rd overload. I had little time to hug her and confirm that 4 months have passed for her when my vision turned dark and I got hit by the enormous backlash. I was surprised that I didn’t lose a life because it surely felt like I was dying.

  My eyes opened and the first thing I saw was a blue fox.

  Hey Nilah, how long was I out for?

  My head felt as if it was about to split. It had been a while since I had gotten a headache this severe. My Elgards eyes activated but instantly shut down as my eyes felt like they were burning through my skull. This was certainly a terrible idea using [Elgard Overload] like this but it got Elliana back. My 5th tail notified me that I had been out for 3 weeks and that there was a possibility that Greg had been found.

  I wanted to get to it but there is not much I could do without my Elgards eyes. I had to wait till I can use them again. The door flung open and Raishin barged in.

  He’s awake! I finally got someone that can help you!

  Healerguy stepped inside.

  Ugh, of all the people you had to get him?

  He wanted to send your girlfriend but she seemed to be busy with fan stuff. I watched some videos of their concert, they are good!

  “You seem to get into situations a lot, don’t you?” Healerguy said as he started to heal my eyes. “Now what could possibly do this to you.”

  It seems that Raishin didn’t tell him anything. He seems to have matured a bit while he was away or am I truly going blind?

  “You’re fine, just rest your eyes for 2 days and they will be back to normal, the rest of your body though… it needs more rest.”

  Thank you for not being annoying today, my headache wouldn’t be able to take it.

  “I will grill you later, just make sure to rest, now about you Raishin, you’re due for a checkup. You have skipped out for almost 9 months.”

  Huh what? Nono it was just 12 days I’m fine! Hey what’s with that scalpel!? Nooo!

  Raishin left as he got chased after by Healerguy and Elliana came in.

  Hey stop acting as if I’m dying. I will be fine. I guess I should rest because Greg won’t be as kind as you, he will probably give me the longest scolding in 3t history when I get him back.

  “At least you’ll both be alive. Can I use your kitchen?”

  Sure.

  I ended up resting for 2 weeks and Elliana acted as my maid even though she didn’t need to. She told me a bit of her time in her adventure. It was on a world that was filled with highly technologically advanced pirates. Most of her attacks were relatively useless since they had androids and this thing, she calls cyborgs. Half man, half machine. None of her sustained damage worked so she had to work on her burst damage. Her lightning affinity came in very useful.

  She showed me some of it. It was green lightning. Very unique and not a normal color for lightning. She said that she created it as she messed up and tried to cast elvish magic and lightning simultaneously. She was unsure of its properties but it seemed as strong or stronger than purple lightning. They had called her the Verdant Lightningbolt over there and both of us liked that name. We might have to make a push to get the AA to give her that adventurer's name.

  She also told me what she had heard from Raishin. He seemed to have landed in a place that was very primitive. Something about him being the smartest person around. That sounds terrifying. It makes me wonder what Greg is going through. Maybe some edgelord setting. Maybe he will be edgier when he comes back. That actually might be funny. I still have to get him back first though.

  “Are you going to use the same thing you used to get me back?”

  Possibly. I will have to find him first though.

  The probe was sending out my magical signature so if Greg is in range, he will pick it up. How he will be able to respond… that’s a different story. This dimension certainly has something that is from our dimension.

  An idea struck me. I could create more of these and send them to find Hourai! How have I not thought of this before! My tails got tasked to mass produce these probes but apparently, I could only have 6 active at any time. My 5th tail would only be able to handle that much. It’s better than nothing.

  The probes were created and released. All I needed to do was wait. I didn’t want to wait though. I could speed up the search with [Elgard Overload] but I will then have to wait 80 minutes if I find him. But I’ve gotten lucky so far, both Raishin and Elliana had been stuck for a shorter period of time than has elapsed for me. Greg might have been there for 200 years or something.

  I tried to figure out how time flows in that dimension relative to ours. It didn’t take long to find out. It was similar to this one. About 10 months should have elapsed for Greg, as long as his part of the dimension is consistent with the rest. This 10 month is an average. Some parts have time going faster and others slower.

  A shadow surrounded my probe 2 hours later.

  Elliana, I found him!

  “That’s wonderful!” She started to get tears of happiness.

  We still couldn’t communicate but Greg is aware that this probe is mine. The shadow guided the probe. I was relieved, so far, as he seems alive. The shadow guided the probe for an hour and stopped at a problematic area. The fabric was unusually dense here. The shadow retreated but it made a big detour. He probably had to get his shadow around this. I can understand why.

  The best way is to blast this from both sides with spatiotemporal magic but Greg can’t use it and even if he could I can’t communicate with him…. I thought for a bit.

  I guess he has to wait for 80 minutes.

  I used [Elgard Overload] and forced a telepathic message using my probe as a relay point.

  -Greg. I’m using [Elgard Overload] to get this message through, I unfortunately don’t have the time or energy to chat. I am going to send a large mass of spatiotemporal mana to your side in my first window of overpoweredness. I need you to absorb this in your shadow but don’t change it’s attribute. In the second window of my overpoweredness we need to blast this fabric from both sides, this should create a hole through which the probe can pass. You then unfortunately have to wait for 80 minutes before I can get you home.- - Understood. It’s good to know you’re doing fine. What about the others?-

  - Raishin and Elliana are already here, you’re the last one. I’m sorry it took so long. Also, I need you to feed the little fox in the probe some mana to make the probe big enough so you can fit inside, it will be your ride home- - I consider 12 months relatively fast for the kind of problem you tried to solve. Thank you, the instructions are clear.-

  The first moment of near infinite power came up and it got used to bypass the thick dimensional fabric and form an enormous cluster of spatiotemporal mana near Greg’s location.

  “Is there anything I can do to help?” Elliana asked.

  Some nature energy or restorative elvish magic on me would be nice, thank you.

  The amount of impossibilities I had to kick out reality were insane. What I’m doing seems relatively simple but just because of some stupid factors it becomes quite difficult to deal with. All I did was sending mana through a dimensional fabric. Blasting this same fabric is going to be a pain too then.

  I gave Greg a signal as the second window came up and both of us blasted the dimensional fabric. It didn’t want to budge at first but slowly but surely it started to weaken. The probe, which was blasting the fabric, got ready to slip in the moment the hole got big enough. If there is a possibility to cut my Elgard Overload] short then I will do it.

  A hole big enough opened 7 minutes after I started [Elgard Overload]. It slipped inside and I canceled it. Greg only had to wait for 71 minutes now. All my filters disappeared and I combated my headache. The real pain will start after I get him back.

  The probe has reached Greg. I will be getting him back after I rest for 70 minutes.

  “Shouldn’t you take a longer rest? I assume Greg is safe. I’m sure he will understand if he has to wait a bit longer.”

  I will consider it.

  I didn’t remember when I fell asleep but I woke up.

  “I’m sorry I had to put you to sleep.”

  I’m back! I heard you can get Greg home! I also brought Healerguy!

  For how long did I sleep?

  “Just 2 hours. I will apologize to Greg when he returns.” I nodded and started to get Greg back after confirming that he was in the probe. Greg’s dimension was way further than Elliana’s dimension. It took me 93 [Elgard Overload] loops.

  I’m sorry Greg, I will have to hear what you have to say after I wake up.

  My vision went dark and noticed that someone cast [Sleep] on me before the backlash would kick in. I would have to thank him or her when I wake up.
