Chapter 7: At Doom's Gate
Alucard and Melody stand at the open gate of Dracula's castle, where there are countless Demons inside.
Melody: Where'd that trident go?
Alucard summons the trident to his hand and gives it to Melody.
Melody: How'd you do that?
Al: I said that the trident could be thrown and received. Try it in this battle. It's quite fun.
Melody: Who are You?
Al: The prince.
They charge at the Demon hoard as Dracula watches on from above. He grins as Melody throws the trident through a Harpy and Alucard strikes a Skeleton.
Dracula: My creation grows stronger still. This partner of theirs is quite something as well. Perhaps, this other Demon may be my apprentice as well once I have achieved true power.
The Harpy from earlier in the day flies back to Dracula.
Harpy: Sir! You Gotta Help Us! We're Getting Slaughtered Out There!
Dracula: Evidently, not you. The matters of my pets are of no matter to me. You have all served your purposes well. Soon, world domination will be all too easy.
Harpy: What?! Screw You!
The Harpy charges at Dracula, who waves his hand, and the Harpy bursts into flames.
Dracula: Now, to await its return.

Dracula walks to his throne and sits upon it with a glass at his right hand and wine at his left. He then pours himself some wine and takes a swig of it. Down below, Alucard finishes the last Cyclops as Melody kills the last Wolf-man. They then find themselves in a grand entrance with staircases on the left and right and a hallway in the middle.
Melody: Thirty... You?
Al: Forty seven.
Melody: Really? How'd you kill so many?
Al: Hm? Oh, the kill count. Around twenty two.
Melody: Wait. You're forty seven?
Al: Yes. Half Demons stay young in looks. What might your age be?
Melody: Thirty-nine. Maybe a bit older. Anyway, which way now?
Al: Likely, upwards. However, we should first scavenge the dining hall and make any other necessary preparations. Once we start on our way up there, we shall not turn back.
Melody: Sounds good to me.
They go down the middle path and find a large table with a vast array of food on it. There are many glasses filled with water and wine all over.
Melody: Looks like they've rolled out the red carpet.
Al: Yes. He has prepared for us. Let us not allow the banquet to rot.
They sit next to each-other in the high quality, ebony and ivory wood chairs and start eating meats, and fruits, and vegetables, and drinking their drinks.
Melody: So, what caught your eye? Me chest? Me rump?
Al: Your eyes. I knew you were a Demon the moment I saw you. Either that, or a mage on par with Jacqueline.
Melody: What's the eyes got to do with magic?
Al: Your eye color changes with the more magical knowledge you gain. First, blue. Then, yellow. Anyway, the next thing I saw was your hair. Red is quite the attractive color. The color of passion. Thus, the reason why Succubi are all born with red hair.
Melody: You knew that, but not that we're Human?
Al: Succubi are not well known, likely due to their charm.
Melody: Men are easily distracted. This one time, told a guy he could look at me split if I could see his art collection. Easiest job I've taken.
Al: Did you show him “It?”
Melody: Heh. Nah. I'm more talk when it comes to being lewd. In fact I never... Never-mind.
Al: What caught your eye in me?
Melody: You're hot. That, and the way you speak. Intelligence is a great trait.
Al: Truly? I thought I might be a bit too serious.
Melody: You're lightening up. Just need to deal with that hair.
Al: Yes. It has not been treated in many years.
Melody: I'll cut it later...
They stare into each-other's eyes for a few moments.
Al: Are we ready, or shall we relieve ourselves on the carpets?
Melody: I should've thought of that!
