Chapter 3: Rude Awakening
Odin wakes up at 4:02 PM with his face in the couch. He sits up and notices James to his right.
Odin: Ugh. How long was I out?
James: Eight hours.
James stands up, turns off the TV, and throws the remote on the couch.
Odin: You mad about something?
James: Mad?! I'm Furious! You Said Omni Was Just Some Medicine Man! Not The Man Who ENSLAVED ME!
Odin: How'd you figure that out?
James: He almost destroyed the house this morning. The “Almost” part is thanks to me.
Odin: You Fought Him?!
Odin stands up.
James: The suit works, by the way.
Odin: AND, Used MY Suit?! That's It! Scarlet! Don't Let James Use Any Technology Until I SAY SO!
Scar: Yes, sir.
James stares at Odin in a cold anger and, with shaking hands, he says;
James: Odin, you are a fool.
James silently walks upstairs.
Odin: Dumb boy...
Odin starts walking towards the kitchen as the doorbell rings. He opens the front door to see Mason and a teenage girl, who has short, black hair, big, green eyes, and a sheathed katana on her left side.
Wolf: Is the area safe, sir?
Odin: Aren't you a bit late for that? And, yes.
Wolf: Good. My name's “Wolf.”
She extends her hand to shake Odin's.
Odin: And, I'm not in the mood.
Wolf puts her arm back.
Mason: Sorry. Our information is rather slow. It's really just us and Larry right now.
Odin: I'm mad at someone else. What do you want?
Mason: I wanted to explain some things, and to make a proposition.
Odin starts walking towards the living-room.
Odin: Well? Come in.

They enter the house and Mason closes the door. Mason and Odin sit on the couch as Wolf looks around the house.
Odin: How'd the gem quest go?
Mason pulls out a green Chaos Gem.
Mason: Pretty well, all things considered.
Odin: Why does that girl have a cool ninja sword?
Mason: Wolf's the one who was going to be Ozark's apprentice.
Odin: Right. Larry training her?
Mason: Never could find a better master... Oh! Speaking of fake names, you should call me “Keanu” to avoid any confusion when the other Mason appears.
Odin: Where'd you pull that name from?
Keanu: An old “Earth” friend... How are you holding up?
Odin: As well as I can be. So, why else did you come here?
Wolf finds herself in a short and empty hallway upstairs with a door on her front, right, and left. She opens the door on her right and sees James with one leg out of the window to the right of his desk. There's a full backpack on his back.
James: This is curious.
Wolf: That's my line!
James steps back in and closes the window. He then extends his hand towards her.
James: James Dreemurr.
She shakes his hand.
Wolf: I'm Wolf. No last name.
James: Mysterious... Is that a katana?
Wolf: Yup. You like swords?
James: Indeed...
Wolf: I-
Just then, a metal man bursts through James' wall.
Omni: I'll be taking that!
Omni walks towards James. Wolf takes out her katana and attacks the Solid Suit, but the blade just bounces off of the metal. Omni then picks up James just as Odin runs into the room.
Omni: You Should've Seen This Coming! A legacy for a legacy!
Omni flies away with James as Keanu enters the room and Odin's face glows a bright red.
Odin: That Mother-! That Son Of A-! That Bloody WANKER!!
Wolf: What's a “Wank?”
Odin: I'm Gonna Kill That Son Of A SUCCUBUS!!
Keanu stops Odin at the bedroom door.
Keanu: Odin! You need to stop and think!
Odin: OUT OF MY WAY, MOTHER-HUMPER!!!
Odin shoves Keanu aside and runs down to the basement. Wolf and Keanu rush in after Odin to find him standing in front of Omni's old suit with his arms folded.
Keanu: Odin, You-
Odin: Please! Take your own advice and shut up...
Odin taps his finger on his elbow as he thinks for a moment.
Odin: Sure advances quickly, doesn't he? That's this morning's model. Omni's already almost at mark three level. How do you think that is?
Keanu: Perhaps-
Odin: What did I say?... Scarlet, scan this suit.
Scar: Right away, sir.
Scarlet uses the mark three to scan Omni's old suit.
Odin: How many scanners and cameras are on this thing?
Scar: I detect 64 cameras and 17 scanners.
Odin: Has it transferred data anywhere in the past 24 hours?
Scar: Data was transferred to a server room in the Ethos Medical research base on Svartalfheim island. The same data was then sent to Omni's hidden base in Muspelheim.
Keanu: He must've used data from that fight this morning to create a suit that's equal to yours.
Odin: Finally catching on? Thought you were stupid for a second.
Keanu: I'm guessing he built the suit in the Muspelheim factory.
Odin: I can see your cranium expanding. Now, I need you two, and Larry, to figure out whatever you can about these two facilities.
Keanu: And, you?
Odin: I've got a mark four to make.
