Hello everyone,

  After reaching Chapter 27, I’ve hit a creative crossroads. The story has evolved more in my head. Rather than slogging forward with an ending that wouldn’t do justice to the characters or plot, I’ve decided to pause the story where it is now and rework a lot of the chapters.

  What’s changing? A lot of things. After re-reading the chapters, I’ve decided to split this story up into three parts to do more worldbuilding, better character development, characters’ goals, and a better and clearer plot. I'm thinking of expanding Dr. Willis' role a bit more, build more of the friendship between Page, Lee, and Flynn and Ziggy. Also, I want to re-write what the sea beings are, probably give them a proper name instead of something so generic. So, a bunch of things need to change.

  When will the story resume? Aiming for September/October, but I’ll post updates on my if anything changes or just where I am in the writing process. The old draft will remain up until I start posting the revised chapters.
