Hello everyone!
This time I’m here to tell you what I’ve been working on these past few months, something I had kept as a surprise.
After receiving some complaints about the current cover the novel was using, I decided to change it once again and avoid all that in one go, especially since it was a good time to change the novel’s title as well. And since I like doing things properly and with quality, I chose to go big and raise the bar once more.
So, I managed to get a commission with the Japanese artist ShirosaiNekocha to create an original illustration of the protagonist, and based on that I worked on the cover’s composition.
So without further delay, here is the new cover of the novel.
If you come across this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
It may not look like it, but there’s been a lot of work behind this — both in ShirosaiNekocha’s artwork and in the many sleepless nights I spent thinking about the best possible combination for the lettering format, font, its color, and arrangement.
Unfortunately, it seems that on this site the approval process takes quite a while, and depending on the moderator’s personal preferences, some images of a certain type get approved and others don’t. So, in case this one doesn’t make it through, I’m going to upload a slightly shameless censored variant (but I’ll keep trying to get the original accepted).
Once again, I want to thank ShirosaiNekocha for their work and patience with me. I’m sure I must have been a headache to deal with, but they managed to keep up with the effort, and I think their work speaks for itself. So if you want to check out their profile and support an artist’s growth, here’s their social media.
