  You get used to it

Please tell me what fills a cup,

  Is this thing on,

Get on stage, pass him the mike, did the world line echo, and do we live in the abyss, or in a hole, did your mom call, and what do our dreams echo, what we have eternities for, and where is the narrative, maybe check it in editing, mostly diseases,

Say human body, or thirty year olds, someone ask it if it’s on, generation alpha, please tell me,

What fills a cup, too young, did your mom call,

Same place, I said it was mostly diseases, say psychopathy and sobriety, what is natural, as eternities echo, please tell me,

What fills a cup, and the echo of tomorrow,

  Please wait five business eternities,

  The echoes of a baby’s first words…

  Changing your mask

Someone ask if this thing is on, mostly diseases, what else could a cup fill with, say generation alpha, please tell me, what is a woman’s second opinion of you,

Please tell me what fills a cup, like slime,

Say icky wicky, witch, Slytherin, and your mom called, say Bojack Horseman,

  Your reputation in Valhalla,

  Your character fills a cup,

Following a rhythm, eternities of dreams,

Please, what else fills a cup, and diseases we live with, maybe we’re just trying to beat the allegations…

  Thank the heavens

If you ever wake up and realize that you are Sisyphus rolling a boulder up a hill,

Doomed to the same actions each eternity,

If you’re like me and are dreaming about a break in the sequence, a crack for a spirit to flow in, escape the dam and break free of everything,

If you want to believe it,

That there’s this thing called freedom,

Just know that the song echoes out eternally,

Even as the heavens watch you continue to push that boulder up that hill, eternity after eternity,

Just know, that although ephemeral, it is material in their minds,

  So many dreams echo,

If all feelings must find satisfaction,

Then so must our yearning for progression,

The heavens who we’ve learned to curse,

  They are counting the eternities,

They have already conjured it in their minds,

The next thing in the sequence…
