  What your father eats

  Why are you spurned on by temptations, don’t you know there’s always a god, judging and weighing,

  The act and the hint of it,

  The utmost foolishness,

  But then again,

  Like ripples in a rain,

  When god stabs you,

  He was just pointing out something enticing,

  Trust and hear my words,

  Good work is rewarded…

  Not today old man

  When everything is easy, one craves the cold, hard ground,

  The heavens above, rejoicing in misfortune and tribulation,

  Whispering, come, young one, how can you overcome this,

  Pass through, or resolve it,

  What would you offer for relief,

  The gentle rain and a soft persimmon,

  Your mother smiles, gently pushing you forward,

  I believe in you, make your father proud,

  Don’t you want to become greater than him,

  Such is the whispering of demons,

  Who went to war for Helen of Troy,

  Strings may pull, but we are still human…
