Kurai lay on his bed reading a comic book he has always been a big fan but today it felt strange.

  He flicked through the pages and started to tear up, his tears dropped and strained the page, the scene wasnt even a poignant one just the hero laying with his freind and Kurai couldnt understand why it moved him so much,

  He wiped his eyes and stood up exiting the room untill he heard a buzz it was his phone and so he wiped his tears and cleared his voice

  "hell-" "KURAIIIII!!!!" the voice screamed it was almost like shiki stook his head out the phone to shout in his face "Come on down to the Training grounds I have a surprise for you three.. Nozomi and Katsuo are waiting!! Okay Toodaloos!!"

  He hung up the phone as Kurai sighed he trudged to the Training grounds itd been a week since he last trained a week since The incident.. with Hotaru and he hasn't yet got over it. Kurai opens the door to the grounds and closes his eyes due to the brightness of the sun he feels a gust of wind swallow him and when he opens his eyes hes not in the grounds hes in a room

  "Where the hell am i!!!" He shouts rubbing his eyes "Kurai" a voice calls out to him a chair is facing backwards to him and the person on it is obscured he claps and the light turns on Kurai rubs his eyes again adjusting to the light as the Figure spins around in the chair "Kurai.."

  He opens his eyes and its Shiki? But hes not shouting or eating or messy or screaming hes nearly not smiling too "Kurai.. Ever since you joined Us I always saw a light in your eyes.. you had a passion and an energy that lit up the room I always saw you as my kid brother because in many ways your like who am I and I dont think you realise how much your needed here i dont think you know the joy you bring everyone.. Katsuo.. Nozomi.. Lenton.. Me.. Even old Hotaru.. you've made this hard job feel so much easier and peaceful without you Kurai I dont id have half the grin on me so thank you Kurai truly"

  Shiki grins but not teasingly no its in a caring way Kurai stares at the floor for a moment before sniffling and he starts to break down crying

  "Oh shiki I cant keep that smile" He whimpers through his sobs "I killed Hotaru and all he wanted to do was protect me im the only one who should be dead not him" He cries shaking and covering his head with his hands "And I feel so alone Shiki.. I feel so alone.. Katsuo doesn't care.. Nozomi never even met him.. Lenton god i haven't even seen him since.. and you.. your always smiling and I just feel like.. im the only person that's feeling hes.. hes gone and i can-"

  Kurai gets cut off by a warm feeling surrounding him Shiki hugs him closely

  "Kurai.. We all process grief differently.. I know it may seem like Me and Katsuo dont care but hes putting up an act Kuku.. as am I.. I dont wana cry because I dont want to be weak I need to set a role for you guys an exam and that's why ill always have a smile on my face no matter how hard it gets"

  A tear drops from Shikis Eye as he consols Kurai

  "It isn't your fault hes gone either Kurai.. He would have done this for you everytime Kurai because he.. no we all love you.. and Hota always did too" The Two boys cried into eachother a rare moment of vulnerability from both

  "Kurai he will live.. I promise you.. he will.. you see Kurai? i think everyone has 2 life's living.. and i think your second starts when you realise you only have one and i want you to shed your first life and stop this crying and I want you.. no us.. to move forward and to grow.. Now Kurai get back out there and keep a smile on because your the glue holding us together even if you dont realise your own worth.." Shiki forms a big smile as Kurai wipes his tears suddenly as he opens his eyes again the gust of wind is back and Kurais in the training grounds

  "Took ya long enough" Katsuo moans sitting on the grass

  "Where's Nozomi??" Kurai questions Katsuo points to the corner where Nozomi is being pinned down by a group of beats constantly spraying her with water

  "HELP ME KURAIII!!!" she screams as Kurai bursts out laughing

  "That's what she gets for trying to shave my hair during a fight!!" Nozomi frowns as she bangs at the ground

  "LET ME OUT!" the beat suddenly stops spraying water and she rises up dashing to Katsuo and grabbing him by the collar

  "If you dont apologise right this instant I swear!!"

  Nozomi shouts drenched in water but her anger is making her bright red Kurai starts laughing hysterically and so does Katsuo causing Nozomi to laugh aswell.

  Nozomi slaps her lips together as she eats like a pig leaning over the table to point and squish Kurais face

  "K-Kuraiii why are you so weakk" she laughs clearly a little tipsy

  "I mean you don't even have an instrument and barely enough Melody to sense your prescence but whyyy" she frowns and cocks her head to the right

  "I dont really know Nozomi.. I was just born this way and I do have an instrument just not a particularly strong one i can summon cannon balls and spikes from my palm but theyre slow.. and take alot of my energy so I mostly don't use it"

  Kurai plays with his food as he explains "Id love to get stronger though i know you cant develop new instruments but maybe I can break the mold and get the super coolest Instrument ever!"

  He smirks "Heh.. and maybe even a devine symphony.. if im lucky" Kurai slurps up his spaghetti before the door swings open

  "Its your amazing handsome mentor SHIKI!!!"

  He beams a bright smile before rushing over and devouring Katsuos food

  "Mhmm yummy.. Anyway!! I got two big surprises for you guys!! Come come come!!"

  The gang walked into the room with Shiki and he revealed their new uniforms!

  "Heh.. I got you guys new uniforms! Built in with some of the strongest most durable materials in the world its like a suit of armour but stylish.."

  Kurai, Katsuo and Nozomi grab their new uniforms Kurais ecstatic Katsuo is indifferent and Nozomi Gags "Jeez these are ugly!!" Nozomi cocks an eyebrow and scratches her head "what are we huh? Little schoolgirls? No!! I hate this uniform and I will NEVER put it on!" She pouts crossing her arms

  "Okay maybe they're not thattt ugly... pretty comfortable actually" Nozomi frowns having to swallow her pride and compliment the Uniform As Shiki and Kurai laugh up a storm

  "Okay guys now i have one more surprise follow me" Shiki glides down the hall into another room and as Kurai walks in he gasps and feels a tear enter his eye

  "H-h-Hotaru?"
