  Effect: Some spark of Divinity has ignited within you and has integrated some of its Legend into your body. You have a natural resistance to all lightning and thunder-based damage equal to [10 x Essence]% (40%). This damage resistance cannot be overcome or nullified without the removal of: [[Background: Divine Shard (Stirring)]]

  Until your Divine Shard advances, you can still be blinded by sufficiently powerful flashes of lightning or deafened by sufficiently powerful claps of thunder.

  Aura of Vengeance

  Cost: None* (5 motes +1 Mote/Ally) Duration: Permanent

  Active Effect: Through your divine shard, great torrents of energy erupt from you, augmenting your offensive capabilities and hampering your foes defenses. While active, all offensive talents have their damage increased by [Essence] times and enemy resistances are reduced by one factor. I.e. An enemy with immunity to fire would become resistant to your flame-based attacks. While this talent is active it affects all entities within [Essence x 10] ft. Entities to be excluded from this effect must be paid for upon activation of this talent. You may extend the duration of your Aura of Vengeance by paying an additional 5 motes to fuel it for another minute, so long as you possess the required motes to do so.

  Passive Effect: Your aura conveys the weight of your presence and divine wrath. Those with the ability to perceive magic and the flows of essence will recognize you as a form of divinity. In order to prevent detection in this way, strict control over your aura is required.
