Keal landed somewhere on the ground. He couldn't tell—his eyes were still adjusting from the teleportation flash.

  "Where am I?" Just a few seconds ago Keal was in a room full of weapons at the academy now he is literally in a random place. Keal brushes off the dust on him before he grabs and holds the staff in his arms tightly. If he was just a second late he could have teleported without a weapon.

  Keal looks around to analyze where he is or if there are any other students but he has none, it's just him. As Keal was thinking this was a good chance to use his ability but he realized that something if this was an exam there must be some camera somewhere that the professors watching can't risk revealing his ability yet.

  Well it is not like Keal can use all of his other abilities either because his second the false reality (SS) people will find out what is wrong with their head if Keal used them. While his third ability was fuckin useless. Keal it was called shadow parasite (F).

  Keal is still pissed off and annoyed now that he thinks about his third ability. He wasted 100 coins for that but only got an F rank ability. He'd summoned it exactly once. A tiny wriggling thing, smaller than a mosquito, made of shadow-stuff that dissolved when he tried to look at it. He'd accidentally crushed it between his fingers before he could even register what it was. It was a good thing that summoning creatures can resummon after it dies.

  'I guess that's why it's an F rank.' Keal now can only reply to his first ability healing (B) which is already known by the academy.

  Suddenly as Keal was thinking one of the bushes started shaking Keal immediately on guard as he pointed the staff at the bushes.

  Just then a small monster looks like a horn rabbit and it notices Keal and his staff. The creature emerged. A rabbit. But wrong. Its fur was matted brown, its eyes too intelligent, and a single jagged horn jutted from its forehead like a middle finger from nature because the horn is the rabbit's most sensitive part so the rabbit can't even use it as an attack or defense mechanism but it will use it as attack if it life was threaten.

  Horn rabbit. A low-tier monster is still a monster and dangerous if you were an idiot.

  Keal pointed to his staff. "Magic missile"

  But nothing happened. Both Keal and the horn rabbit looked confused.

  Keal shook the staff. Tapped it against his palm. Pointed again.

  "Magic missile." Nothing. "Abracadabra." Nothing. "Pew pew?" Nothing. "Staff, do the thing!" Nothing.

  Keal tried many times but it didn't work. The horn rabbit blinked at him. that it immediately gets mad at Keal. The rabbit's ears twitched. Its eyes narrowed. The horn rabbit flexes its legs muscles coiled ready to attack.

  Seeing this Keal realizes his mistake. The horn rabbit launched at Keal and kicked him in the stomach.

  "Fuck."

  …

  At the academy monitor room.

  The professors and the principal were watching the students through the many TV screens. Each screen displayed a different corner of the forest.

  The principal looked at the first year students. "Many of the students this year are going surprisingly well compared to years. Now that we warn them about the exam. Especially the second Prince. I heard he broke through the first rank already."

  All the professors look at the screen where the second Prince is and they are all impressed at the second Prince was leading a group of students while killing the low rank many monsters he even takes down a first rank monster across his path.

  "Come to think about it, the second Prince was teleported in the same location as Ashpen of the dragonborn family. Do you think they will meet and fight?" One of the female professors named Skye can't help but ask.

  Another professor's name Voss was commented on. "Knowing the dragonborn family personality. Ashpen will fight the second Prince even if the the second Prince don't want to fight him after all the second Prince maybe unlocked an SS rank ability. While Ashpen only gets an S ability but Ashpen is a year older than the prince and he also stays in the first rank longer. So his pride is on the line."

  "I guess only time will tell." The principal said as Whisper happened amongst the professors they were all looking forward to the possibility of the upcoming battle between the second Prince and Ashpen.

  Selene notices a strange look on Lisa. "What's wrong? Lisa, you seem to be worried about something."

  "*Sign* it's that child over there." Lisa pointed at the screen while Keal got beat by the horn rabbit.

  "I noticed he grabbed a staff I thought he already knew how to cast but turns out that student has no idea what he is doing."

  Turn out the reason why no students pick the staff even though it was a first rank weapon. The skill of the staff required casting but none of the students had learned to cast a spell or skill yet because they were only first year students and on the first day they literally had exams instead of learning.

  Normally if it was the other noble's children they would learn to cast a skill just fine because their family have to pay a Private inspector to teach but Keal's background was an orphanage. So the reason why Lisa focused on Keal was she thought he was a genius who learned to cast a skill without any help or teaching but turned out Keal was just an idiot that what all the professors were thinking.

  After all it is common knowledge that if you don't know how to cast skill why the heck you pick a staff in the first but Keal doesn't know that because he was not from this world.

  Several professors turned to look at the screen where Keal was curled on the ground as he got up and ready to fight. Arlen let out a barking laugh.

  "He is not even a combat mage. He shouldn't fight alone after all the horn rabbits are known for hunting in groups. Although I give him points for spirit."

  Selene muttered. "It is better for that child to run away from the horn rabbits. Because the horn rabbit is one of the monsters in the exam. That has a first rank horn rabbit leading it. Come to think about it."

  Screen show Keal was ready to fight the horn rabbit but several more horn rabbits joined and their leader was a first rank monster known as an electric horn rabbit. A rabbit was bigger than the normal horn rabbits with a horn that can charge electric energy for attack.

  Some of the professors shake their heads but they don't blame Keal if he runs away. It was bad luck on Keal's part to teleport to a place with the horn rabbits staying.

  What happened next shocked the professors. Keal held his staff tightly with both but instead of trying to cast this he used it to hit the horn rabbit that kicked him in the stomach crushing its skull.

  This enrages the other horn rabbits as they charge to attack Keal while their leader is charging its horn.

  One of the horn rabbits jumps and tries to attack Keal but Keal grabs it by the ears before throwing it into another rabbit horn killing. The horn rabbit that had his friend stick into its horn was too shocked to move which Keal took advantage of as he swung his staff and hit it like a golf ball to the nearby tree.

  The electric horn rabbit had finished it charging. It launched its horn at Keal. Keal tries to dodge it but one of the horn rabbits actually uses its horn to stab Keal in the leg making him can't move while another rabbit knocks the staff off Keal's hand.

  Keal can only sacrifice his hand as he tries to block but it was a mistake, the horn of the electric rabbit penetrating through his palm and shocking him in the process making him screaming in pain.

  Keal throws the electric rabbit away and quickly uses his healing ability to heal his wound then he runs up to pick up the staff using it to beat the electric horn rabbit.

  The other horn rabbits try to save their leader by jumping and attacking Keal but Keal ignores them and continues to beat their leader even though the other horn rabbit is stabbing him. He just continues to heal and continues to beat the electric horn rabbit until it dies.

  After the electric horn rabbit dies Keal turns back to the rest of the horn rabbits and finishes the jobs.

  The principal and the professors were watching the fight from the beginning to end but in the monitor room there was silence.
