The King of The Futatabi, Part 2
As the stale air felt the disruption of power, it created an imbalance. Zenatori looked at Hayoku for a moment and said.
"You mean the one that Rokudan invented?"
"Correct! To be able to perform high-level manifestations, you need an area in your soul called the convergence seal. This area is something you are born with, and you have no way of knowing if you actually have one until push comes to shove. You need to have two aspects of your syneji and be able to manifest the maximum capacity of that from your soul. No matter how far he runs, a supreme manifestation will trace someone's soul, meaning that it will hit him no matter what. Even if he was across the world, I had already perceived his presence. That is the reason why there is almost no real way to counter a supreme manifestation."
Zenatori thought over for a few moments and said.
"Are you saying..."
Hayoku gave Zenatori a smirk of approval and continued.
"Two aspects of your syneji are required to manifest a supreme manifestation. But I have five. This is the ultimate win condition."
The automorph began its desperate retreat and ran through the forest. He ran by the trees and pushed himself against the grass.
"I've never seen a human that powerful before! How is that even possible? Is that thing even human?! Wha-"
The automorph jolted back at Hayoku and saw him form a unique hand sign. The quiet call echoed through the forest and sent vibrations through the automorph's spine. What followed was the dead end.
"Supreme Manifestation: Fifth Dimensional Erausure."
The stellar phenomenon projoined itself into the air as a circular mesh of incomprehension. It crackled as the jolts of raw power echoed and rumbled the very ground that was laid on. It darkened the sky as its streaks tore the very reality they all lived in.
The being froze in its tracks, unable to force itself to move. It instantly felt the very fabric of its soul rip to shreds, and its body ripped into itself. It was deafening. The silence of it all. The orb then disappeared, and the automorph collapsed to the ground. Hayoku walked towards it and said to Zenatori.
"An attack that destroys anything residing on the fifth dimension and below. I held back because I wanted to ask this thing some questions."
Zenatori stared at Hayoku in an inspiring awe. He rushed to Akari and said.
"WHO IS THIS GUY?"
Akari slightly chuckled and said.
"The king of the Futatabi generation of syneji artists."
"I haven't seen someone this powerful in my entire life! Is he the true dead end of strength?"
Hayoku walked toward it and, by using the kinetic energy in the air, he ruptured it against itself and blew the legs off the automorph without removing his hands from his pockets.
"I only severely weakened your soul, if I went for your body, it likely would've killed ya. Automorphs have a renewable source of energy by using their soul, so weakening your soul to this point won't allow you to regenerate."
He stomped on its head and fractured the ground beneath it, shaking the trees as the air traveled through.
"Heyyy now, I know you're alive. So I want you to answer to make this easier on yourself. What exactly are you? Who sent you?"
The automorph sat in its pitiful state, grabbing Hayoku's shoes in a desperate attempt to resist the insurmountable strength.
Zenatori looked down and felt his blinking starting to slow. He saw the gash that was created on his chest and the earlier strikes on the automorph. He attempted to announce it, but mere mumbles only formed.
He felt the gravity get stronger and felt the pressure weaken his legs. He used the last of his strength and said.
This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.
"Help..." The quiet cry trailed off as he fell to the ground.
As the thud was heard, Hayoku instantly looked back and remembered the grievous wounds Zenatori had taken.
"Akari, get Zenatori into the car-"
"Kaigen Series, Absolute: Disruption."
As the mysterious voice called out, Hayoku suddenly felt a mild disruption in the air and felt his eardrums violently shake. Akari fell to the ground, covering her ears in pain as the deafening sound screeched through her ears.
Hayoku's vision went to darkness in blindness, and he heard a yell of someone else, someone who sounded like a young woman. Her silver hair swung through the air as she rushed toward Hayoku, dilating her dampened golden eyes.
"Kaigen Series: Falter!"
She then attempts to touch Hayoku, but her hand slides off his body, and she falls to the ground.
"It seems that he can resist an isotonic force-disrupting technique, likely due to the sheer strength of his soul. I wasn't informed that he could expand the effective area of his motionless carnation."
She then picked up the severely weakened automorph and rushed to the forest, exiting the scene. Hayoku recovered his vision and shookily blinked. He looked at Akari and said.
"Are you alright?"
Akari nodded her head in approval.
"It seems that the beast got away."
Hayoku put his finger over his chin and said.
"I suppose they did-"
He is then cut off by Akari, sending a powerful strike to the ground in sheer rage.
"We failed!" she yelled out.
Hayoku opened his lips but knew there wasn't any avoiding the gravity of the situation. He then thought over the entire scene. Was there a possibility that there was an organization that was out for him? It isn't out of the realm of impossibility. Why would they send an automorph that looked so human?
Nonetheless, he leaped over Zenatori's body over his head and told Akari.
"Let's get back to the school."
