Butterfly killer - part 5

As Morro is about to fall asleep, a powerful force crushes his body, making it hard to breathe. Just as panic sets in, a voice speaks from the window, introducing itself as Eryon, the Master of Wind.

The force prevents Morro from talking or breathing, and he sweats all over his body. Unable to move,

"Well, I don't know why you don't want to answer me, Morro, but I gotta say. Raikou isn't dead." Eryon says.

Morro is in complete shock at what he hears.

"Well, you see, Raikou was actually going to win against Rayka, so I had to enter and help Rayka, but that doesn't mean Raikou is dead. You overrated when you saw his body."

As Eryon finishes his words, he vanishes in the blink of an eye. Morro finally catches his breath and looks behind him with fear. Relief washes over him when he realizes Eryon isn't there anymore.

"Raikou...isn't...DEAD?!" Morro screams as he realizes it's true, or maybe Eryon is lying. But if he told the truth, where is Raikou, and why hasn't he shown up yet?

Many questions swirl in his head, but he can't make sense of them. The most important one for him is how Eryon found him. Filled with questions, he falls asleep without realizing it.

In the morning, Morro wakes up because of a knock on the door. As he tries to get up and walk to the door, the knocking grows faster and faster.

"Alright, alright, stop knocking. I'm coming," Morro says as he gently opens the door.

Out of nowhere, a knife is thrown at him, but he reacts quickly, putting his hands up, and the knife lands in them.

"YOU MURDERER, YOU KILLED ONE OF US," a scream comes from the door. Morro realizes what has just happened and sees a man who resembles the royal guards he saw in that village.

As the man runs toward Morro, hitting him, Morro grabs the knife and tries to fight back. He takes the knife from the man's hand and stabs it into the royal guard's stomach. As the guard collapses, Morro feels a sense of relief.

Morro tries to make sense of what happened 10 minutes ago. He was sleeping, and now someone threw a knife at him and tried to kill him. Morro doesn't know what to do, but all he knows is that he can't let him die and that he has to do his method of killing, his favorite thing about killing.

Morro starts to clean the mess, drags the body, and puts it on the table, using his blood control to stop the guard's blood loss and to wrap him on the table. Morro notices that his power has gotten better, and he is happy about it.

After a while, the guard wakes, seeing nothing but darkness.

"If you're thinking of screaming, don't try. No one will hear you here."

A voice comes from behind the guard.

"Well, I really didn't think of it anyway," the guard replies.

As he speaks, the lamps in the house turn on, revealing Morro's knives on the table next to the guard.

Morro comes from behind and says, "This part is usually where the victim begs for their lives."

If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

"I've been there too. Sorry to ruin the fun for you," the guard says.

"Why did you attack me?" Morro asks.

"You killed my brother in that village. You are the blood-stealer killer," the guard replies.

"Oh, you mean that guard you threatened, saying you'd kill him if he didn't burn the village, which had innocent lives? And how did you know I killed him?" Morro says.

"Well, I'm one of the 600 royal guards, for sure. I know everything," the guard says.

"That's not the reason, tell me now!" Morro says as he grabs a knife.

"Alright, alright, chill man, you see I have an ability that can make me see whoever killed anyone and who killed who," the guard said.

"Are you an element master?" Morro asked

"W-what, no, I'm not, who even can do that?" the guard said.

"So, how can you use abilities like this, and does anyone know about you coming to me?" Morro asked.

"Why would I answer you that?" The guard replied.

"Because if you did, I'll actually let you go away, as a matter of fact, I'm actually more harmless than you think," Morro said.

"Well, okay, if you're going to let me live, people like me who have the ability are just... born with it, nothing else, and that's what made me one of the most important royal guards, when the guard who was with me who was supposed to burn the village didn't come, so I went to see the village and yeah... nothing happened there until I smelled a horrible smell and I saw his body and that's when I knew you killed him. Does anyone know if I came here or not? Actually, no, I thought you were easy to kill, but I completely misunderstood what I was dealing with, and now can you let me go," the guard said.

"Thanks for the knowledge you just gave me, BUT..." Morro said.

  "But what?" The guard asked.

"You're not gonna live," Morro said

"WHAT BUT YOU SAID YOU'LL LET ME LIVE!!" the guard screamed.

"You believe I'm a killer and not a liar seriously? I even wanted to ask about the king and the world, but you annoyed me. I'm going to kill one of the royal guards; I'll just ask them." Morro said.

"Wh-what no no no no don't kill me please, DON'T FUCKING KILL ME THE WHOLE 600 WILL GET YOU," the guard said in horror.

"I thought you didn't care about living, and oops the 600 royal guards are now 599,"

Morro said as he put his 2 fingers at the guard's forehead, and before the guard could react, blood came from every hole in his body, forming a ball shape until there was not a single point of blood in his body. Morro took it in his hands, slowly entering his body as an upgrade for his power and a new count of the victims he has.

After a while, Morro finished dismembering the body into 9 pieces then grotesquely stitched them back together with needles and threads. Morro dragged the body outside his house and left it there to think of a place to put it but then realized there is literally not a single place that he knows to put the body, so he entered his house again to get a blanket and wrapped the body in it.

As he left, he didn't notice that someone was hiding behind the trees who had seen him.

He comes back, and the body vanishes. Morro starts to panic and leaves the blanket to look for the body, but he couldn't find it anywhere, and says maybe he left it in his house, but no, the body is nowhere to be found.

The body vanished as if it never existed. Morro doesn't know what to do, but he knows dead Bodies can't move by themselves and he has to do something and be quick about it.

He goes running into the village, looking for it anywhere, yet no matter how hard he tries to find it the body is always not there.

Morro walks in the middle of the village trying to find any clue or a trace of the body yet nothing, but as soon as he starts to get worried that whoever took the body is now gonna reveal Morro's true self.

But as the fear filled him with the unknown, he realized that all of the people were looking at him, some trying to hide their laughs, some showing it.

He felt weird, as if they knew something, and looked at himself. Everything was alright until a woman came up and told him.

"Cough, um sir your plants are cut open from behind"

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAT" Morro screamed as he heard those words and looked at his pants to find them actually cut open.

He just ran straight to his house, embarrassed, but he tried to act like he didn't care. He searched for any pants, but remembered he didn't have any, so he went to the old man's house, trying to find something to wear, and actually found something.

As he was in the middle of the house, the house was running and remembering the dead body mission to find it, failed completely but he would try again, he noticed a note on the table..and he didn't remember any notes being there before... As he opened the note, he had:

  "Thank me later..."

Morro tries to open everything in place... until he realizes that whoever took the body is actually in the house...now...he is in the house NOW...

Morro panicked and kept searching in the house, until he noticed another note again on the floor, but this time it had a star mark on it. He rushed to open it and yet it had nothing written in it.

He gets more scared because he was here before, from 2 minutes ago.

And out of nowhere, a scream comes from far away, but it wasn't any normal screaming it's that type of scared screaming that enters your bones.

He runs to see where it came from, and he gets closer and closer, but notices it was so far away he wonders how he could hear it, it was in the middle of the Forest.

Behind trees and in the middle of that undying forest, lay 2 Young boys crying and screaming in horror, and in front of them. Laying the body of the guard Morro killed earlier, and under his body, a massive drawing of a butterfly, the exact shape Morro draws, and that was the moment Morro realized whoever took the body wasn't a harm... He was helping him.

As Morro gets closer to the Body he sees a lot of people coming over because of the screaming, and he also notices a note that has a star mark he takes before anyone sees him, and as the people come over he hides behind those trees and wakes up at his house slowly, thinking of what just happened.

He grabs the note slowly shocked is all he can feel, and reads it, it

  says:

"Those young boys came out of nowhere, but what do you think about my gift, Morro?"
