(Samuel's POV)
I nodded slowly, "I see." I said, "I understand that firearms are quite rare around these parts."
She nodded, "In the Kingdom of Abaddon, they're very rare." She said, "Less than a handful of individuals wield them. You'd be the fourth person I have met that does."
"You said you lived a long life." I said, "These other three people, are they still around?"
She shook her head, "I wouldn't know." She said, "But one of them wielded a Hand-Cannon like that one. I want to understand that you are no trouble."
I pced my hand on the brim of my hat, "Ma'am, you don't have to worry a thing about me." I said with a slight smile, "I just wanted to get something to eat and explore the city, that's all. I am not looking for trouble."
"That doesn't mean trouble won't find you." She said with a worried expression
"If trouble comes to find me, I'll deal with it." I said with a chuckle, "Such is my life, to walk these nds and live in the moment. I don't pn on involving innocents into my business."
"And what would your business be?" She asked
"Hm...." I said, turning around, "I don't think I am allowed to say. If you excuse me, I will take my leave."
I made my way out of the room, walking over to the stairs that led back down to the first floor. I walked down the stairs and reached the first floor, seeing that the young waitress was standing to the far side, looking at me with a curious expression.
I made my way back to the table I was at, seeing it was already cleaned up. As I stood there, I noticed that on a table in the far corner, there were three men who wore dark leather armor. They all had skinny faces, and their cheekbones were quite visible. They were human, pale-skinned, and had short bck hair.
Now that I thought about it, everyone in this pce was human. Despite that, I was getting a strange feeling from the atmosphere. I don't know how to expin it, but it is as if someone's presence was making it a bit thicker.
And that feeling came from those men who were in the back, staring at me. I couldn't really expin what they were doing, but it is as if their presence was affected the mere air, even if slightly.
"Magic.....perhaps?" I muttered to myself
Maybe my senses were getting used to this. And now that I thought about it, the air at the Castle was rather thick. Scarlet, Rok'gul, even Oneth; they all had this strange feeling to them, simir to them.
Not to mention the Queen herself, they all affected my senses even slightly. Was it me getting used to the fact that this world had magic in it?
"Hm....." I said
"Uhm, pardon me." I heard a voice
I looked to see the young girl, "Oh." I said, "What is it?"
"Is everything alright?" She asked, giving me a frown, "Did my Grandmother not kick you out? We don't want trouble, you know...."
"No, it's okay." I said, "It's just a coin, there's nothing to be concerned about."
She let out an exhale, "Oh, thank goodness." She said, "I really didn't want my father to get hurt, the way he gets rowdy with Lord Urug's men."
I blinked, "Urug...?"
"One of the Dread Lords." she said, "His men usually come around this pce."
As she said this, I noticed the men from the back standing up and quietly making their way out of the building. One of them was giving me a serious scowl, for some reason.
"Hm...." I said as I caught a glimpse of a dagger on their hip, "Interesting."
"What is?" the girl said
I looked at her, "Oh, nothing." I said, "Thank you for the food. I might come ter tonight and get supper, what time do you close?"
"Quite te, to be honest." She said, "My father is going to make some batches of apple pies and his famous roast."
"Good." I said, "I'll come and visit then."
"I look forward to it."

(Third Person POV)
[Over At Castle Amara]
Queen Asothia was sitting on a rge red chair that was adorned with gold bones and skulls, her posture was rexed while she leaned to the side. Several servant women were around her, fanning her with rge feather fans and massaging her legs and arms.
There was a short and petite young man who was shirtless, wearing baggy white pants. He could be confused for a woman, should his upper body not be exposed. His green hair was long and messy, his pointy ears extended outwards as his golden eyes stared right at the Queen. He was holding a ptter of grapes, hand-feeding her one at a time.
Asothia gently took the grape with her tongue, slowly pulling it into her mouth as she stared at the young man. She swallowed the grape and gave him a wink, causing him to blush slightly.
As this happened, the door to the room opened and two massive armored knights stepped to the side, allowing Oneth to slither in slowly with a slight smile on her face.
The Serpent Demon stopped several feet away from Asothia and lowered herself in a bow, "My Queen." She said, "You have summoned me?"
"Oneth." Asothia's body shifted slightly, one of her servant girls immediately putting a fluffy pillow behind her, to support her sudden shift, "What report do you have for me?"
"I was successful in completing Samuel Grey's Task." Oneth looked up at her, "He took me thoroughly and passionately."
The Demon's cheek was slightly blushing, as if she was remembering her sex with Samuel.
"Hm...." Asothia said, "I knew you'd like him. But I take it that you didn't accept him quite easily, huh? You fought him, didn't you?"
Oneth bowed, "My apologies, Your Majesty." she said, "I was impulsive, allowing my distaste for humans to control my judgment."
"Worry not." Asothia said, "I knew that you'd try to beat him around a bit. If it were not for my order to not kill him, you probably would've devoured his flesh and siphon his lifeforce, living him a bloody mess."
"My Queen, even if I was not holding back, Samuel Grey is an individual that would be hard to kill." Oneth looked at her
"Eborate." The Queen's expression hardened slightly
"I can feel it." She said seriously, "The Distortion seeped deep into him. His body is sturdy and strong, even if he doesn't realize it. He was able to match my strength with ease, even while I held back. Should my Demon brethren try to fight him, they better not hold back."
"His body is strong, that is good to know." Asothia said
"That is not all, Your Majesty." Oneth said, "His killer instinct is there. I saw it when he had his clutches on my deep wounds, the killer in him."
"So you think he'd be ready for true battle?" Asothia asked her, "Samuel Grey, our Gunslinger.....?"
"Perhaps." Oneth said, "Give him a few more tests and we'll be sure."
"I see." Asothia said, "Well, I'll think of something. On another note, how good was he?"
"My Queen?" Oneth asked, blushing slightly
"Do not act silly." Asothia said, "Scarlet ended her session prematurely and while she was still in control. For someone to bed you, they must've been.....different."
Oneth blushed deeply, pcing her hands on her cheeks, "Oh, he was something else." She said, "He might be the only Human I love. I might bear him a child, the way he filled me up."
"Oh my~" Asothia smiled, "Baby trapping?"
"Oneth...tsk tsk, that's very evil~"
