“Are you sure about this Cas?” Cassidy smiled as she looked at the young man who was sitting in the oversized salon chair. “Oh yeah this is perfect for you” Billy whipped back his hair “Oh trust me dude this is the perfect place to get a look before you attend any event... plus one of the owners is my cousin so it's free” Jack rolled his eyes “Yeah not like I'm a billionaire or anything” He then looked over at Adam who was reading “Planet of the Apes” in the corner of the room in the nearby waiting area. Jack spoke up “What do you think Adam?” Adam looked up from his book “Yeah, it's fine, not exactly what I pictured for our first outing as group but here we are” Jack rolled his eyes “Thanks for the help, Adam” Adam went back to his book” Billy smiled “But after you get your haircut we are going to In and out burger!” It was then that the door to the waiting room opened, out came a young woman with bright red hair half shaved on the side wearing a leather jacket. She smiled as she saw Jack. “Ah you must be Jack” Jack got up and replied “Yep that's me” “Come on back I'll give you an amazing makeover” she briefly waved at Billy.

  The two of them made their way to the back, which was lined with salon chairs, some of them occupied at the time. The woman took Jack to the end chair, to which Jack sat, and she went to take off her Jacket and put it on a nearby coat hanger. “Okay, my name is Sid; I am one of the owners and one of the stylists at Kyle's. What are we doing today?” Jack sighed, unsure, “Well, I am going to a fundraiser on Friday... " It's kind of a date,” She smiled and leaned back in the chair. “I get it, don't worry, I'll make you look nice”. She then started to get the equipment ready and said, “Who’s the lucky guy?” Jack’s eyes bugged out of his head. “Umm.... I’m not gay... who told you I was gay?” Sid laughed as she got out the hair dryer “I’ve seen plenty of young guys here I have a good sense of these things” Jack sighed and leaned back “I wish it was a guy, I’m pretending to be straight at least for a bit” She smiled and said “Well we can make you a very nice looking straight guy... so how do you want this kid?”

  The two of them went through books of hairstyles until Jack landed on a style he wanted, a style that was longer on top than it was on the sides. “Good choice, Jack. We could add some highlights as well?” Jack thought about it for a bit. “Yeah... I guess we can” She smiled “Let’s go with blue that will suit your dark hair” Jack nodded and relaxed “Yeah, I think that would be good” She smiled as she got the scissors out “Oh you are goanna love it guarantee it” Sid then went to work making his hair look great and seamless, during this the two discussed the possibly of an eyebrow trim to which Jack agreed. Jack had to admit he had never had a haircut quite like this before; it was relaxing.   A little while later in the waiting room, the three of them were sitting around. His thick, black hair was on display, and the blue highlights really gave him a bit of flamboyance, making him stand out more. “Hey, looking good, Jakie boy,” Replied Billy. Adam nodded, “Yes, you look good, come on, let's go.” Billy nodded as the two made their way out the door and into the car. Cas looked at Jack and spoke proudly “See I told you it was a good idea, letting a little bit of flame out it good every now and then, you are goanna look great on my arm” Jack blushed “Well Thanks I guess” Cas slapped his back “It's all goanna be okay and we are goanna teach that James gut a lesson about messing with you and we are goanna look damn good while doing it” Jack sighed as he made his way to the door, a new hairstyle wasn't a lot but it was something, even the tiniest step to coming out”
