Kisukan huffed "Just.. what do you think you are doing?"
Zenshi let go of Vex's body, staring blankly at Aurelis.
Aurelis gritted his teeth "What happened to Vex?"
Kisukan held her arm in place, her palm aiming at Aurelis "He's not dead, not yet."
Aurelis tilted his head back, his hands tightening around his ice knives, he repeated "Yet.."
Zenshi pressed his hand against Aurelis' chest, a small smirk forming on his face.
Aurelis turned around, forming ice on his elbow.
A legless Vex struck in his direction a moment later, flinging Aurelis back.
The ice on Aurelis' shoulder shattered, crumbling on the floor.
Zenshi rolled back, dragging Vex's body with him.
Aurelis gritted his teeth, forming an ice lance "you bastard!"
He winds up, throwing the lance directly at Zenshi.
Kisukan forms a rock out of her palm, lunging it directly at the lance.
The stone rustles through the air, colliding with the spear's head.
The spear shatters, the sound of ice splitting into pieces filling the room.
It fell onto the floor, right next to Zenshi.
Kisukan raised her arms "stop!"
She sighed as her hands flopped down "Aurelis, he's not dead yet."
Aurelis shouted, flailing his hand back, smashing it into a wall "He tried to kill me!"
Kisukan pinched her forehead "No.. he was protecting himself, you pressed two knives on his neck."
Aurelis opened his mouth, and after a moment closed it.
Kisukan approached Zenshi, tilting her head towards Aurelis "Anyways.. since you didn't choose a weapon, I'll fix your friend's arm."
Aurelis sighed, holding his arms behind his back "About time.."
An akito with a hole in his stomach comes down the stairway, tossing Kisukan Vex's container.
Kisukan opened it, pulling Vex's hand out "Oh, actually, since he didn't really win the dungeon's challenge, I need payment."
Aurelis exhaled.
He walked up to Vex's body, crouching near Vex.
He stretched his hand, pulling something out of Vex's pocket, and handed it to Kisukan "Would that suffice?"
In his hand, pieces of the shattered scythe and Akito's letter.
Kisukan grabbed the items out of Aurelis' hand, holding one of the shards in front of a torch.
She tilted her head, her eyes scanning the shard "Such fine piece of a cursed weapon.. and..."
She looked at Akito's letter "Oh."
her grip tightened around the letter, bending it lightly "Yeah, that should do."
Zenshi stepped forward, opening his hand.
Kisukan nodded and dropped the shards and the letter into his hand.
Zenshi turned around, waving to Aurelis.
He walked up the stairs, his footsteps echo across the room, and slowly fading away.
Kisukan leaned towards Vex, holding his dismembered hand close to his shoulder.
Her other hand gently presses against the hole in his arm, forming a rock inside it "It is a simple slice, really. Much less complicated to fix!"
Aurelis walked around the podiums aimlessly "Figured."
Kisukan sighed, she pressed another rock against Vex's dismembered hand "You can be a little more talkative, you know.."
Aurelis clenched his fists, his voice firmer "You must know a lot don't you?"
Kisukan scoffed "Struck a chord didn't I?"
Aurelis tilted his head towards the floor, his mouth twitched.
Kisukan pressed her finger against Vex's shoulder, encasing the inside with a string torn from Vex's clothes "If anything, you should ask me more.. ah!"
She pointed a finger up, smirking "For example, one of my proudest works is the Bloodweaver-"
Aurelis flails his hand "Let me guess, another item that consumes blood in return for strength?"
Kisukan pressed Vex's hand on to his shoulder, connecting the two with a click "Ahem, yes.. but!"
She claps once "The thing is, it's a pure black odachi. Well, its hilt does have a tint of red.. the thing is! The blade grows redder the more blood it seeps."
Aurelis sighed "Well, who did you create it for?"
This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
Kisukan stretched her hands as she got up.
She leaned on one of the walls, smirking "Over the years, people gave him many names. Some call him the red knight, others call him blood poured from hell."
She tilted her head towards Aurelis "I personally like to refer him as the droplet of hell, rolls off the tongue."
Aurelis exhaled, walking to Vex "Never heard about him."
Kisukan grumbled "No way. Do they not talk about him out there?"
Aurelis shook his head "Not that I've heard of."
Kisukan flailed her hands "I guess after hundreds of years he'd be dead or sealed!"
Aurelis tilted his head "Hundreds of years?"
Kisukan raised an eyebrow and scoffed "Don't act like you're much younger, Aurelis."
Aurelis' eyes narrowed "I see. Do tell about your other costumers.."
Kisukan grinned, her hands clasped behind her back as she walked around the room "Well, my latest, before you of course; was some red haired elf,"
She tapped her chin "If I remember correctly, his name was something like.. Ignite? Ignis perhaps?"
Aurelis' head snapped towards Kisukan, his eyes widened.
Kisukan giggled, her hand covered her mouth "What? You know him?"
Aurelis stared at Kisukan, his mouth twitched, his fists clenched harder "A-nd.. do you know, where he went?"
Kisukan leaned towards Aurelis, her blue eyes glimmering in the torch's light "We trade knowledge for knowledge around these parts, Aurelis."
Aurelis bit his finger, hard enough for blood to seep through "Knowledge huh.."
Kisukan leaped back, stretching her hands "Since you know Akito, I'll do for some basic things. I haven't been outside in a long time!"
Aurelis exhaled, his leg tapped the floor "Well, the blue moon rises in two days or so.."
Kisukan's mouth widened.
She clasped her hands, walking back, almost tripping over vex "R-really?!"
Aurelis nodded "That should.."
Kisukan exclaimed excitedly "That should do!"
She smirked "As for Ignis, he went to Nuro. He didn't specify why, unfortunately..."
Her smirk falters for a moment "Anyways, it's not that far away, you've probably come from there, didn't you?"
Aurelis coughs, his fists pressed against the wall "Nuro?! That cursed place?"
Kisukan scoffs "Yeah, I wish I knew."
Vex's hand twitched, his body straightening as his head wobbled.
Kisukan stretched her arms, tilting her head towards Aurelis "Seems like your friend has woken up."
Vex looked around, the moment he spotted Kisukan he leaped up, his hand raised against her "Wha- where am I?!"
His head tilted towards his hand "Woah!"
He jumped up, flailing his hand "Since when is my hand back?!"
Aurelis pushed himself off the wall and walked towards Vex "This is the blacksmith, she fixed your hand."
Vex lifted his hands up, looking at both of them "It feels.. weaker."
Kisukan pouted "Not like I can magically make the process faster!"
She raised her hands in the air "Your hand wouldn't be able to process habels, and will be much weaker than it should be for a while from now.."
She smirked "I found out that the time depends on the person, thank me later!"
Vex raised an eyebrow, clasping his hands "Um.. thanks?"
Aurelis exhaled "Yeah yeah, thank you, Kisukan. We will be on our way now."
He dragged Vex to the stairway.
Vex waved to Kisukan as he got dragged.
Kisukan laughs "Such a hurry, huh? Oh well, we shall meet again. Goodbye, Aurelis!"
Aurelis rushed forward, opening the shack's door.
The warm sun shined brighter. Vex's feet brush the grass "Are we.. still, in the dungeon?"
Aurelis nodded, letting go of Vex's hand "Yeah, probably some illusion."
Vex shrugged "Well, how do we get out of here?"
Aurelis stepped forward, brushing his hand over the grass "I have.. no idea. Lets go ask Kisukan."
He turned around, the shack in front of him was but a patch of grass now "What the-?"
Vex groaned "Oh god! Now we are stuck!"
Aurelis clenched his teeth "No, we're in another puzzle."
