26- Mahmud - II

Two people came in as the door opened. One of them was Sheph and the other one was someone I didn’t know at that time. Sheph had a kans grass in his mouth again. The unknown figure on the other hand looked down all depressed like he has seen some bad stuff.

Mason, looked at them and asked, “Why are you here? Did you come with him because you saw him coming?”

Sheph replied, “I was coming in anyway. But I saw him coming towards here and came with him. I guess you also have something to say, right?”

Sheph and Mason didn’t look angry right now. They were casually chatting. While the one behind Sheph stood silently looking at the floor.

Sheph started to walk towards me and went towards the window. He sat on the window sill and put his right foot on top of the sill while his left foot stayed down to ground.

The unknown figure also moved with him and sat beside Mason. It seems, I was the only one that standing. So I went and sat beside Steve since it was empty there. Steve was still looking at his book. I tried to peek in and guess what? The book was blank white. He looked at me and smirked. This piece of shit was just avoiding us!

Sheph then grabbed everyone’s attention by coughing to clear his throat. He spoke, “Hey Mason. That brat thinks we are terrorists. He told me at the graveyard.” Saying that he started laughing really hard. Everyone looked at me all confused. The unknown figure for the first time looked up and looked at me with what I can only describe as, “What a weirdo” kind of look. Steve also started laughing as if Sheph wasn’t enough.

I got all flustered and looked down at my fingers. I started to play finger wrestling on the spot out of embarrassment and told that, “It was a misunderstanding. I didn’t think before talking. It just came out I swear” Hearing that, Sheph laughed even harder and said, “You were totally scared of me back there.” I was super embarrassed and put my head even lower.

Mason then broke the scene with his voice saying, “That was unexpected. But do you understand that we are just rebels? The government will obviously label us as terrorists.” He was back to his calm self again. I looked up while my neck was already hurting a bit. I said yes with a cracked-up voice. I was about to cry from the embarrassment. It was a first for me.

Mason then shut Steve and Sheph up saying, “He is still not used to this. Don’t push this any further.” I did a fake sneeze onto my right shoulder and quickly wiped off the tears.

  “Enough.

  .

  .

  Steve.

  .

Talk.”, The unknown figure spoke like a tone that feels like he’s fed up with us and he is demanding the reason why we were here.

Sheph then looked at me and said, “He’s my nephew, Mahmud. Don’t worry, he knows you already. Well, he didn’t know how you looked like but that’s fixed now.”

Mahmud, the previously unknown figure looked at me and kept looking at me. I was feeling uncomfortable from looking at each other so I looked away saying “Hi”. He responded by slightly nodding.

Steve then shut his book that made somewhat of a loud noise and then he started speaking, “Well then, let me brief everyone why we are here”, as he put the book onto his lap, still holding it shut.

Everyone looked at him, although not in quite the exciting mood. It seemed everyone just wanted to get this over with.

“Yesterday evening, a stronghold of ours was destroyed. The government now knows what our strongholds are supposed to look like. At this point, we have to wait it out till phase 3 starts.”

Hearing that, Mahmud sighed deeply. Mason and Sheph were saddened a bit. I, on the other hand, was confused as always.

“Or, Taseen can help speed things up for us”, Steve continued his sentence. Sheph puffed a laugh as if he expected it. Mason on the other hand asked, “What do you expect him to do? He just trained for ONE day. Send This brat instead”, while he looked at Mahmud.

“He has his own job to do, doesn’t he?”, Sheph spoke out as if he knew what was coming. Steve agreed with him instantly, “He does.”

Mason sighed as he said, “I wanted to make sure they are capable at least”.

“I’ll give Taseen 1 month to train then”, said Steve. He then turned his gaze towards Mahmud and said, “You will be gone in the morning. Go get some sleep.”

Mason and Sheph then stood and was ready to go out. Mahmud stood up just after.

“You will be training with me in the afternoon from now on”, said Mason to me. Hearing that I asked, “Soooo.... I won’t train with Sheph anymore?” Sheph answered, “You will. In the morning.”

I thought that I understood that there was something needed from me. But what exactly was it? I still don’t know. All of this still feels so vivid and whatever.

I nodded to their training talk signaling I understand. Then Mahmud just casually snatched the book Steve was still holding in his lap saying, “I’ll be taking that” with a somewhat deep voice. I don’t know why, but I was kind of afraid of Mahmud. He might laugh now if he hears that. His attitude there probably was the reason.

I didn’t understand why he was taking the book from Steve so casually and why was Steve sitting there still with a smirk at me.

But after Mahmud took that book, he started to walk out. Mason told me to get some rest and Sheph opened the window to spit away the kans grass. He then closed the window and pulled out another kans grass from his pocket and stuck it between his teeth. Steve stood up and They both head out.

While all of this happened, I was still confused to what just happened. Wasn’t I here to continue the story from where I left off? I tried to ask that but everyone was gone already. I accepted defeat and thought that I should do some stretches. It wasn’t too late at night still. So I went to lock the front door and came to my room to do basic stretches and exercises.

An hour or so had passed since I started doing exercises. Maybe more than an hour. I looked at my phone which was lying on top of my bed. Turning the screen on showed me the time which was 11:37 in the night.

I thought I did workout a little but time seems to say otherwise. Although I did take short breaks every few minutes. I need to sleep or I won’t be able to wake up in the morning.

I needed to pee again. This time, I know what to do. I went towards the window and slowly opened it and unzipped my pants. I put my dick out to pee and a silhouette popped up into my eyesight. It was right beside me outside the window. There was little to no light to know what the silhouette was supposed to be.

I got spooked out and started to pee from the spook. The silhouette and I both let out an “Woah!” and my heart jumped out of my chest. It started pumping like crazy and my breathing was out of control while I kept peeing out the window.
