While Ning and Cong did their best to behave with Themba, Hank decided to check out the main dinning room area. He couldn’t believe what a lovely setting everything was, and noticed the British flag and everything was prepared juts for him.
“Ah, Captain Valorion never ceases to amaze me” laughed Hank.
Then Hank notices Nyra and Whipserblade dressed up in their formal attire. Whisperblade hated being a servant more than anything else in her entire life – it was worse than losing to her most hated enemy.
“Great, it’s Hank” thought Whisperblade.
Whisperblade also didn’t seem to like Hank as much as Captain Valorion did. She saw him as arrogant, and too macho in terms of the old fashion sense. Hank had his eyes on Nyra, he always liked the mind readers the most.
“Nyra, you’re my favorite mind reader, how are things with you here at Valor Tower?” asked Hank.
Nyra blushed with Hank around, though she did have feelings for him, she wanted to stay professional.
“Just fine, never better” replied Nyra.
“How about a tarot reading or two?” asked Hank, “Before dinner.”
“I guess that could kill sometime” said Nyra.

Nyra and Hank sat down together at the table, Whisperblade brushed it off. She wasn’t jealous, she just didn’t like Hank’s arrogance at all. Nyra’s tarot readings were always entertainment for Hank asking what sort of questions from the future. He was happy to always be by her side. Meanwhile, Captain Valorion was getting impatient with the last two guests – Ming and Shui Yong both were technocrats from Hong Kong. Ming finally arrived with her husband Shui just outside Valor Tower.
“Can’t believe we have to go through so many checkpoints” said Ming.
“You know the captain, he’s always about order” said Shui.
Shui did the honors in ringing the doorbell and Captain Valorion greeted both of them.
“Ah yes, the Yongs, so nice of you to come to the tower this way please” said Captain Valorion.
Ming did her best to feel at home at the tower, she expected the tower to be rowdy since the captain was taking care of young adults with superpowers, much to her surprise, it was nice and tidy.
“This is a superhero tower?” asked Ming.
“What, you were expecting a mess?” joked Captain Valorion.
The captain then showed Ming and Shui to the other guests.
“Where’s Hank?” asked Captain Valorion.
“Oh, he went off to see the dinning room” said Kade.
“Ah yes, good old Hank wants to see the dinner table first” laughed Captain Valorion.
The captain had high hopes that Hank would do that, as for Tyler, he finished the first set of meals for everyone. Captain Valorion was impressed with Tyler’s cooking skills.
“I’m surprised you didn’t burn the food like Kade” said Captain Valorion.
“I guess I just have that talent” replied Ty.
Kade did his best not to be jealous of Tyler’s cooking skills, yet at the same time he felt disappointed from the captain even if the captain didn’t say that much about his skills by name. The captain then had everyone prepare to head towards the dinning room since Hank was already there with Nyra and Whisperblade.
