AFTER 2 WEEKS(50M, 1C, 412W, 22S, 38PLS)
In these two weeks journey, we faced quite a few hordes of monsters because of maggot and of course my obsession for soul essences.
Now we are at reef islands. The maggot surely know about addresses of commanders. Until now we have faced 7 commanders out of which we could have avoided almost all of them. Anyways, Bai Cangfeng got some profit after practicing his Curse Element on commanders and warriors for two weeks continuously.
We decided to rest today and tomorrow we will attack reefs.
NEXT DAY(250M, 1C, 412W, 71S, 38PLS)
Today, we are going to slaughter this reef. Plan is simple. First we will kill sea monkeys which are 3000 in numbers. Then, I will have to slaughter Lightning Cuttle fishes alone which are 1000 in numbers because of their lightning element.
Then I will bring out the Cuttle Fish commander to get it's soul chunk or soul essence. And then I will injure Sea Drake enough to make it good host for the maggot.
Me and Bai Cangfeng dive into black water.

Soul harvesting of servants was same as harvesting crop from field. It was easy but time consuming.

We came out of water. While Bai Cangfeng was exhausted and have sour expression. I'm happy beyond words.
I have enough soul essences now to upgrade my Lightning Element once I reach Level 3.
AFTER 2 HOURS
I dive back into water to execute second part of the plan.

My Lightning spell cause great distress in the reef. Cuttle Fishes charge at me with Commander following them as well.
"Hydra keep that big monster busy." Chen Xiao ordered.

"Finally, they are dead. Now it's commander's turn." Chen Xiao talk to himself.
"# Bai Cangfeng, come down." Chen Xiao said.

"Hydra kill it" Chen Xiao ordered.
Hydra rip Cuttle Fish commander into pieces and start eating it.
I happily wait for commander'e soul chunk or soul essence which never came. Then I look at
Hydra who has some yellow colour lines on its body.
'Don't tell me you eat it's soul essence.' Chen Xiao asked Hydra through soul connection.
To my surprise, Hydra nodded it's head sheepishly. When did Hydra become this intelligent wasn't it just a killing robot.
"Hydra, go and beat the hell out of Black Sea Drake but don't kill it." Chen Xiao ordered and follow Hydra with Bai Cangfeng.
Hydra straight enter into Sea Drake's cave. Reef start shaking violently.
"How long will it take too complete this mission?" Bai Cangfeng asked.
"Don't worry, just a week more and the mission is complete." Chen Xiao said.
"Sigh~ I have a request, once we return let me rest for few days. I'm very exhausted." Bai Cangfeng requested.
"As you wish." Chen Xiao said. He himself want to rest. In just these two weeks he have earn more than he could have earned in two months.
"Hydra return." Chen Xiao ordered.
"You may rest for now. I will be here for a while." Chen Xiao said. Bai Cangfeng retur to boat.
I waited until maggot start eating Sea Drake and then also return to boat.
AFTER 4 DAYS(50M, 1C, 434W, 307S, 38PLS)
"It's running, the maggot is running very fast." Bobby alarmed start driving boat in maggot's direction.
"Where is it now?" Chen Xiao asked.
"It's 3Kms away for now but it will soon be out of our reach." Bobby informed.
I pick of the tracking device and fly off in maggot's direction.
"Chaos Accelerator"
I covered 3Kms in less than half a minute.
"Level 4 Space Rythm: Fissure"
I cut away it's tail and it's speed fell down very fast.
"Level 4 Thunderbolt: Hydra: Lightning Lock"
I completely restrain the commander.
"Void Claw"
I pull out a chunk of flesh from its belly with ball gladder in it.
Bobby and Bai Cangfeng also arrived.
"Where is maggot?" Bai Cangfeng asked.
"Here" Chen Xiao while tapping his shoes on Sea Drake's head.
"Sea Drake, that maggot turned into Sea Drake and you subdue it in just few minutes." Bobby asked in disbelief.
'No wonder, that maggot turned into Sea Drake but still decided to run away. This guy is a monster.' Bobby thought.
RAAWWWRRRR!
Sea Drake roared so loud it's throat blasted and killed himself.
"What now?" Bai Cangfeng asked in annoyance.
"It's calling for help but Sea Drake doesn't have someone to rely on who could it be calling, the sound must have travelled at least 1000Kms. As a matter of fact, if it was really running then it should have gone west instead of Southwest, this is strange." Bobby shared his worry.
"Let's go back." Chen Xiao said.

"What the hell?" Bai Cangfeng shot up from his sleep.
"It's... it's the response of maggot's plea." Bobby said in terror.
"That roar... it belongs to a strong monster." Chen Xiao said which send goosebumps to Bobby, if Chen Xiao call something strong, it simply means that monster is hell of a strong monster.

"It's coming closer." Bobby mentioned.
"At this rate, it will catch us. You two go I will take care of it." Chen Xiao said as he will not be able to protect them especially the boat if that monster come.
I land on a nearby reef island and wait for the monster.
After 3 minutes, I can vaguely see the monster's body outline.
"Fuck me, it's an Advance commander." Chen Xiao said with grim expression. A Sea Mammoth was charging at him whose size was about 5-7 times of Sea Drake.

The 'Lightning Void Spear' made direct contact with the commander. Commander sustained some damage but it keep charging.

A huge tail send me splashing on water for few hundred metres.

Ouch, some bones are broken.

"Little better now." Chen Xiao muttered, his speed and spell casting speed increased.
"Running will not help, think Chen Xiao think. My spells' destruction is not enough then I should focus on penetrating it's skull." Chen Xiao talk to himself.

A insanely loud and strong shockwave pass through the place where I was few milliseconds ago. The shockwave travelling more than a Km with sea water splitted on its side.
"This bastard is actually adapting to my speed. This thing must not live." Chen Xiao said with resolve.

The trident hit Sea Mammoth's head. It decimate 1-3rd of monsters head along with it's tusk and a chunk of part from it's back.

The monster cried in agony then went rampant.
"Don't come here bastard." Chen Xiao cursed but still got hit by charging monster.
'The spell was strong but I it need to be stronger.' Chen Xiao said to himself. Then he upgrade his Mid Tier Chaos, Space and Lightning Element to Level 5.

"So, finally taking me seriously, huh?" Chen Xiao muttered.
"Hydra protect me for a while." Chen Xiao call out Hydra.

Before, Hydra was as big as any other average sea commander but now after consuming Lightning Cuttle Fish commander, it has become bigger than Sea Drake.
Unfortunately, Hydra is hardly half of Sea Mammoth's size.
Mammoth rush in my direction but Hydra got in it's and got knocked off back to me. What did I expected? Fortunately, Hydra is not living creature otherwise, it would have suffered serious injuries.

I readied myself for impact. Then, suddenly Hydra wrap itself around me.

The impact was stronger but I sustained lesser than the least damage I was expecting. Hydra has form a 'Lightning Armour' around my body. I can also feel something different than usual.
