After Aalam poured a whole lot of time and a bunch of expensive materials into the Twin Dragons, they’d upgraded into something amazing. Through the D rank Trial Tower, they’d bought legacy information orbs for all the paths Mila wanted to follow at the divine level, feeding them to the artifact to help it evolve, so it was the best training tool Mila could access, enabling her to experience the memories of over 40 fallen gods. And, just as amazing, as a C rank artifact, it enhanced her control over faith energy and allowed her to more easily make use of her now 12 divine role Laws, having two specialized forms for each one.
It’s most useful new ability after advancing to C rank, however, was it’s ability to combine multiple forms into one.
Take the sniper rifle Mila’s clone was currently looking through for example, the scope of which was showing her the scene of a loving mother and her several thousand year old son killing Isaiah’s latest B rank victim’s final mistress half a galaxy cluster away. It was a combination of the Twin Dragon’s Tactician’s Twin Pistols, Reaper’s Scythe, and Watcher’s Scope forms, and Mila loved it.
Pulling the trigger, a bullet—not poisoned this time—traveled through a small spatial portal to an F rank world where one of her doppelg?ngers was located, then through another portal to the B rank world the mother and son were on, and then through both of their hearts, killing them instantly.
Without much thought, Mila then dissipated the doppelg?nger on the F rank planet, transformed the Twin Dragons back into its earrings form on her ears, and moved to the teleportation platform of the F rank planet she was on, traveling to a commerce planet in the area of the Prime Material owned by a lowly force under the Lady of Laws. Then she teleported to a different F rank planet and transformed the Twin Dragons back into sniper rifle mode so she could aim for her next target.
So far, a total of 203 B ranks had entered the Heavenly Soul Universe through the temporary portal the Primordial Humans controlled, Isaiah having killed them all with the help of one of Mila’s doppelg?ngers, and there wasn’t much more Mila could do to help directly as, after the temporary injury she’d received from having her darkness, light, metal, and lightning element soulstructures destroyed when her Ren Kimbal clone was killed, Isaiah was stronger than her in a straight up fight.
What she could do, however, was stall for time by making powerful B ranks not want to follow the Primordial Humans’ gods directions, her main method killing all the loved ones of those B ranks who took the Primordial Humans’ deal while murdering a few powerful A ranks as she was at it, making it seem to others in the Prime Material, completely incorrectly, that the United Federation of Planets was actually a match for the force directly under one of the three most powerful beings in the universe.
And she could do this because, unlike Isaiah, her powers were all about manipulation and stealth.

A good chunk of her power came directly from Aalam, her race the same as his, her boons granting her the effects of his best racial abilities she couldn’t awaken herself, and her strongest class allowing her to shadow his skills. Even her cultivation was more boosted by his energy than her own. But, still, there was a reason she could kill an A rank in front of a god and escape using her own power while he could not.
Omniglot Reader (Mythic): You can understand all languages, magical and otherwise, in both written and spoken form.
Omniglot Reader was the key to Mila’s ability to read minds and manipulate memories, allowing her to interpret the psychic waves she’d gained access to as a D rank from manipulating faith energy to connect directly to the souls of weaker living beings, a prerequisite for the skills Telepathy and Memory Manipulation.
After finally learning all the languages stored in the Book of Languages she and Diana had gained from the F rank Trial Tower, Mila’d raised it to Mythic grade, the highest of anyone from the Heavenly Soul Universe, and she was currently in the process of meeting the prerequisites to advance it to Empyrean grade, where it would gain a truly inspiring new effect.
Fairy Law (Empyrean): Remarkably increase or decrease the power of all bonds and contracts you enter into or for which you provide the magic.
Master of Disguise (Empyrean): Remarkably increase the power of disguise category skills.
Fairy Law and Master of Disguise were the same as they’d always been, now each providing a five level boost to the two types of skills that formed the core of her power instead of four, and Aalam had even used his one chance of shadowing one of her racial abilities to shadow the latter.
Karma Controller (Empyrean): You may freely absorb, transmit, and transform the karmic sin and karmic merit of those at your mercy.
Mila’s second most useful racial ability after Omniglot reader, however, was not Fairy Law but Karma Controller, the evolved version of Sin Eater. With Karma Controller, she could manipulate the karma generated by herself and anyone else she had under her control, and this included all of her subordinates. Without Karma Controller, she wouldn’t have been able to gain her second class and its three most powerful skills. Without Karma Controller, she wouldn’t have been able to manipulate the Karma of the C ranks of the United Federation of Planets so their different karmic accumulations wouldn’t affect their disguises. And, without Karma Controller, she and Aalam wouldn’t have been able to make some of the truly terrifying artifacts the United Federation of Planets now had access to, such as bullets covered in karmic poison that only targeted oath breakers.
Empress’s Aura (Empyrean): Increase the effectiveness of the Aura stat by 300%.
Shadow of the Emperor (Empyrean): Any Empyrean grade or lower skill you are able to shadow will have the same boost as the original.
Empress’s Aura boosted the effectiveness of Mila’s Aura stat, which was useful, but Shadow of the Emperor, the evolved form of Shadow of the King, enabled her to gain the full ridiculous boost Aalam had with his noble category skills, and this allowed her to focus more on her path of extreme utility without having to waste racial abilities and class effects on moving fast and hitting hard, so it was incredibly useful.
Primal Heart (Empyrean): Remarkably increase the normal flow rate of your qi, mana, and psyforce while seriously increasing their burst potential and ability to break down impurities.
Soul Lord Princess Battle Armor (Empyrean): Increase the base value of all base stats other than Soul by 33% of your effective Soul stat.
Then, for her last two racial abilities, Mila, like Aalam, had the two racial abilities most associated with their race.
