The sounds of the merchants haggling over small pieces of copper could be heard in all directions of the plaza making Von want to run to the closest quietest place possible to get his thoughts in order. Von ran toward the direction of a giant tower till he collided with a small pointy hat wearing creature and fell on the hard dirty ground.

  "Sorry." said Von as he tried to get himself up and then help the creature get up from the ground. The creature got up with Von's help and then look closely at Von and asked "What's the rush child?"

  A little worried about what to tell the pointy hat wearing midget since he was just running to go to a place to get his thoughts together he said the closest thing that came to his mind "I was going to the tower hoping it a library to get information on Lavias and how it got where it is today?"

  "What do you mean how Lavias got where it is today?" asked the midget with a smirk on his face.

  "What I mean is Lavias could not of always been floating in the sky and mostly likely some kind of device was used to propel it and make it float in the sky." said Von trying to not sound completely crazy.

  "Right you are but the information you seek is hard to find and even harder if you try asking those bird brains, but you are right about one thing the tower over their does have the information but it is not a library but a wizard tower run by the gnomes" said the midget.

  "I forgot to introduce myself my name is Eden the gnome" said the midget.

  "I am Von and its a pleasure to meet you Eden" said Von as he realized he had gotten some great information about Lavias that he was sure would take him a couple of months just to find out if his theory was correct about being able to build different type of energies and their limitation, and knowing that a large city was up in the air because of a some power source told him the limitation in royal road were a lot small then in real life where getting an entire city with dungeons would be almost impossible.

  "So why type of energy or magic allows Lavias to float?" said Von and immediately said "is it gravity magic?"

  "Oh child it seems you misunderstand in thinking it is just magic that floats the city known as Lavias, but you are close so I will tell you a hint by saying it is an artifact on the level of a grand piece created by us great gnomes that help this giant city float" said Eden.

  "What is an Artifact?" asked Von with a somewhat confused face since not much about artifacts were known in Royal Road. Eden raised his right brow at the idea of the greatest craft of the gnomes being unknown, but he let his anger slide since he knows that many gnomes hate teaching other races about the craft.

  "It is the art of making the impossible possible with technology and magic" said Eden with a proud face at the elf known as Von.

  "Is their a way to make shoes that let you fly through the sky with artifact" asked Von as that was one of few goals he knew was impossible in real life but wanted to make in Royal Road since he heard about gravity magic and was thinking it might be possible with blacksmithing combined.

Then the gnome remembered he why he was also in a rush when Von ran into him and said "May I ask you to return this book for me to the Library since I have many business to attend to and as a gift you may read it on your way before you return it" said Eden.

  A little rattled about the idea of a bounty on his head Von still said "Since you helped me so much with everything I asked it is the least I can do but can you tell me where the Library is since that over their is the wizard's tower?" while pointing at the large tower that was at least 50 stories tall.

  "The Library is south of here so just follow the road left of you and you will see a run down green building the size of a house" said Eden as he handed Von the book and left.

  Von remembering that he had not checked his states yet and says "Status" before he starts walking.

  'hmm not a bad start but my strength seems to be a little weak' thought Von as he looked at his starting stats and wondered what racial abilities he might of gotten for being a lunar high elf.

  "Show Skills" said Von hoping for some kind magical abilities.

  "Lucky" said Von noticing that the mixture of high elf and lunar elf gave him 2 skills he never expected to have. Arriving at the library Von sat down on a chair and decided to read the book Eden told him to return before giving the book to the old librarian siting on a wooden chair that seemed like it could break any second.
