My paper has yet to arrive. The new delivery boy's been tardy for the past few days. Guess it'll take him some time to get used to the new route. I sip my morning cup of tea as I check on my mail.
Well not my mail exactly ... you see I have a unique problem. I get the mail of the POs (Previous Occupants). Not unique you say? Well how many times have you heard of getting mail meant for a person who no-one can reach? Parcels that have been pre-paid and have no return address? From trivial notices and post-cards to large boxes with odd markings and markers?
This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.
Still not sold? Did I mention that some of the POs date back to the 1800s? Yes I have done the obvious things and reported my situation. Oddly no-one seemed to ' get back to me shortly' or point the oddity that is my case.
The authorities wrote it off as a minor problem that did not seem to be a threat to me or my neighbors. So I decided to store them away for now.
And so I did. Up until 9 months after I moved in.
Hi, I'm Jeremy Thomson. I'm new in the neighborhood.
