"Knell!" -Jayson
Looking around as he waited for Knell, Jayson spotted a few things he would have to look at later before Knell appeared.
"I see that you have finished assembling the weapons back. That's good. Later, after you have fired off a few shots, inspect them. If you do it now you won't see anything, because you have to check how much damage you do with the amount of mana you put in." -Knell
"Now then, if you remember from what I said before,, to fully utilize your weapons, you must image the mana going through the weapons insides. I know that you have seen the mana crystal and the mana conduits. Now go over to those targets and practice." -Knell
Looking over, he saw Knell pointing over to two separate targets. One was standing on a large 10 meter by 10 meter platform, while the other looked like a target for guns.
I guess one is for the sword while the other for the pistols.
Walking over to the sword one, he slashed it with the sword without doing anything to it. The dummy had a slight scratch on it from the attack. Next, he infused 50 points of mana into the sword before slashing. This time, the slash left a 2 centimeter deep gash, but it quickly vanished as if auto-regenerating.Finally, he lowed the mana used to 10 and gave a quick slash before inspecting the weapon.
Okay then, it seems that if I infuse it, it automatically does 1.5x more damage without adding the extra damage from Strength or how much mana I infuse.
Moving on, he began to walk towards the other target. Once he was 10 meters away, he noticed that there was a red line with text under it. The text read "Distance Required".
Staying there, he picked up his lightweight pistol. Infusing 1 mana into it, he pulled the trigger, only for nothing to happen. Dissapointed, he began to put more mana in. Once he put 10 mana in, it finally fired.
The bullet moved quite rapidly and continued to speed up before it finally hit the target, leaving a small dent that healed.
Using more mana, he soon moved up to 100. Might as well go crazy... Shooting, he noticed as the bullet moved much faster than before and was much bigger. Once it collided, a good portion of the target got blown off. The dent was atleast 5 centimeters deep and 10 wide.

Not bad... now to inspect it.
Oh, well that's simple... but at least it has a limit. I'm guessing guns in the future either have a higher limit or do more damage per mana.
Putting the lightweight pistol away, he took the heavy pistol out and did the same. The only difference was that you needed to put at least 20 mana into it for it to fire, unlike the lightweight which only needed 10. And the delay between when he pulled the trigger and when the bullet shot was also slower.
While with the lightweight pistol, maybe 10 milliseconds passed before it shot, on the heavy it was at least 30 seconds.
I guess the mana has to form into the bullet before it shoots, and it IS a heavy pistol...
Once he was done, he inspected it too.
Well, it's decent. It can handle less mana, but that's probably to balance out the extra damage it does.
Putting the guns aside, he began looking at how he would keep them on his belt. After a few minutes, he put his heavy pistol on his right and then his light pistol on his left with the sword strapped just a bit below it.
Once again, he walked back to Knell, thinking about other things.
Why didn't I get a skill from learning how to use the weapons properly?

AN: Welp, once again a short chapter. I'm such a bad author :(.
Well, hope you enjoy, leave feedback and thanks for reading! -Zono
