Having heard the sound of explosion Sewo2 was immediately on guard , he knew something was up , his brain cogs started moving, he realised that this could turn into an opportunity for him to escape.

  He must play his cards right . He prepared his makeshift weapon rod, he was trying to hear the footsteps, in particular the footsteps of the guards , he'd heard them say too many times .

  He heard a guard running towards his direction , his plan was simple, the moment the guard would be in front of his cell , he would put the rod through the bars of the cell and use his body to rotate the bar in an oval path , this could knock the guard out , or at least put him to the ground d and then he can choke the guard out.

  Then he was just waiting for the guard to run past . Soon the guard came close to his cell and following his plan Sewo2 did just what he had thought and surprisingly the guard just got knocked out , then Sewo2 just picked up the key from the guard and unlocked his door,he exchanged his dress with the guard to avoid suspicion.

  Then he slowly tried to move out the building, but he was forced into defense by the jail warden of the tower and he had to agree to avoid getting caught. He gained intel on the reason for the explosion.

  Apparently some crazy people had attempted to sabotage the building by dropping oil barrels on the building and then burning it , they used some mysterious device to transport the barrels up above the building 50 m in the air and then dropped them to cover the entire building, then the explosion was set off by a stolen device called the flamethrower, a black index materials that can spew flames and it's flame's potency increase depending upon the user's desire to burn things.

  The Paragon was set on fire, but the mysterious building was keeping up well , the building was not damaged at all , but the internal temperature was slowly rising and would reach unbearable degrees soon.

  The guards were trying to cool down the building somehow , but they were failing this attempt so they made sure to hide away all the important government records and papers into the core of the Paragon before exiting the building .

  Sewo2 was also helping the guards in moving the stuff, his plan was to escape the building with the guards and then when there was a big crowd outside he could use it to his advantage to escape from plain sight.

  Sewo2 was skimming through a few records on the index device marker which was a file containing list of all the recorder devices of all indexes and their whereabouts. A top secret file which was a big part of the secrets that the building was meant to gatekeeper.

  Sewo2 had it in his hands now, he could just escape with it and then find these devices , at least the ones he likes . But the risk was too great , he needed a plan . Sewo2 decided he would go in the locker room and then somehow find a way to store the file and then bring it out.

  Sewo2 with the other guards entered the locker room and when he looked at it there was a bunch of stuff. Apparently these corrupt officials decided to protect their gifts and bribes within the Paragon , expensive wine, few high quality clothes , gold, jewellery, some swords , and a few boxes.

  Seeing all this , it made Sewo2 a bit greedy , he wanted the clothes , a sword, he wanted to see what was inside those boxes , cause it could just be a few good indexed devices , these officials are obviously stacked.

  Sewo2 read the room , there were 15 guards including him , then a supervisor with a fat cigar in his mouth , who was on guard on keeping things in check . If he wanted to loot this place he'd need to be smart about his moves.

  He thought to himself ,"If i were this supervisor , where would I look to , to make sure things are going smoothly and there is nothing suspicious."

  He came to a conclusion, if he were a supervisor, he wouldn't bother to keep people in check here , if anyone does steal anything he'd just do a thorough full body check of everyone who leaves the room.

  Sewo2 realised he needed an accomplice , if he could just convince a guard to team up with him and steal stuff it'd be better, but he knew this would just immediately blow his cover and get him cornered. Instead he decided to think more.

  Sewo2 realised , the temperature of the Paragon was rising slowly , so the clothes and the wine might catch fire and could in turn just burn the entire room , so ,he decided to share this observation to his supervisor and he could in turn suggest him to move these things to another room where even if they break it won't burn the files. The supervisor was impressed with this observation and asked Sewo2 to carry out the volatile articles out the locker room and move it the the free room near the entrance of the Paragon.

  Sewo2 asked one guard to carry the wine , then he picked up the cloth and used it to wrap up the box , he did not let himself he seen while wrapping up the box , then he put the file in his uniform , tucked close to his chest , he was still not able to pick a sword , but he realised that he shouldn't be so greedy .

  Then he left the room with the guard . Soon as he left the room, the supevisor called for him and asked him a question. A question so obvious , it was a shock that no one has asked it to him so far, a question that one would always ask but forgot to , due to the panic of the moment.

  The supervisor asked him,"It's surprising to me , how you have managed to pull it off , but I should have noticed this sooner, there is only 1 prisoner in this building and only one person who doesn't have an arm, so for a guard who has no arm to suddenly appear , when there is a strict policy to hire physically fit guards, is suspicious. You have been found , Sewo2. There is no escape."

  Sewo2 realised his mistake , he himself forgot about his arm at the moment , but the supervisor definitely noticed it , he's very observant . Sewo2 was trapped in the heart of the Paragon , surrounded by enemies, his situation was dire.

  He instantly started thinking , he knew he had to buy time so he could make an attempt to escape . He needed to be out of pocket and show no fear. So he did the best ge knew,he started laughing like a villain. I. The heart of the enemy den , in the midst of all this chaos , only someone who is either crazy or someone who is sure of their victory would laugh like that.

  Sewo2 exclaimed,"Oh, how keen of you ,Mr. Supervisor to have noticed something so obvious . You made a valid point frankly . You definitely need to hire better guards than these dumbasses who can't even notice something so obvious."

  Sewo2 was thinking about his escape plan, he realised he would need to catch the supervisor off guard and land a decisive blow, but he didn't have a weapon , he'd need to create an opportunity. He noticed , the cigar of the supervisor , he then thought of a plan .

  He asked the supervisor for a favour, he said " I am just a cripple , I will not resist the arrest, Mr. Supervisor I am however a smoking addict , can you please just let me smoke 1 cigar and then arrest me , please I beg of you , it'd mean the world to someone as unfortunate as me . You can meanwhile continue the work and lock me in chains while you resume your work . "

  The supervisor thought for a second then after a brief pause he sighed and said " Well, someone as pathetic as you will definitely not be able to escape this place even if you tried, sure , consider this as a random act of kindness , have a smoke. "

  The supervisor gave him the cigar and then a lighter . Sewo2 then lit up his cigar and started to look at the lighter , admiring its cool design , then he shared his opinion on the lighter with the supervisor, then he slowly walked over to the guard carrying the wine, he took the wine from him and looked at the supervisor, he said " Supervisor Sir, you see this wine? You know, while your guards are moving the stuff , we can drink this wine up . If they ask about it we can just say that the wine evaporated due to the extreme heat inside the Paragon. What do you think?"

  The supervisor realised the plan didn't sound that bad and decided to share the drink with all the guards present there , he asked them to gather up, Sewo2 asked them to go in the locker room , just to be safe from anyone else who walks through the corridor or they might have more people to share the wine with , then Sewo2 served everyone the wine once , then he started to dance a bit with the wine in his hand , he seemed to be enjoying the moment alot , he then danced with a bit more energy causing the wine to spread around on the soldiers and some of the papers , this was however ignored by the soldiers who has lost track of the scene and the conditio they were in and then Sewo2 poured the wine over all the documents slowly while dancing , the big bottle of wine , soon covered a lot of the papers and the clothes of few guards.

  Sewo2 then suddenly stopped dancing , he then asked everyone to pay attention, he said " Listen up , everyone!! I have something to share , you see this is the most fun I have had in many years and it's all thanks to you guys , so this will be my final gift for everyone present here today , who made this day special for me , after which you guys can just throw me back in my cell ."

  He then slowly took out the lighter he took from the supervisor , which he never returned , he said " Mr. Supervisor , I still have this lighter from you, you're really forgetful huh , cmon here take this ". Then the supervisor approached him for the lighter , Sewo2 then circled around him , so that the supervisor was now in front of the documents along with a few of the guards and then he said "Here , I'm really dizzy from the good good wine, take the fire."

  The supervisor questioned, " Fire? Give me my lighter back already you fool." Then Sewo2 put his hand forward and in that moment when everyone had dropped their guard , he smashed the wine bottle on the supervisor's head , then lit his face on fire and kicked him back, all the guards were too stunned to react as they saw their supervisor's face get burnt .

  The supervisor then crashed into the guards and then the documents , this set both the guard's uniforms and the documents on fire. The guards were distracted as some tried to save the supervisor , some tried to save their comrades and the rest tried to save the documents.

  Sewo2 seized this opportunity to take the 2 swords, the box and clothes and slowly and his exit without letting anyone notice him.

  He then walked through the Paragon to the ground floor with the excuse that his Supervisor has asked to keep volatile articles separately rather than in the locker room . Then he made his exit from the building and managed to escape to the open world.

  He saw Hope and possibilities.

  He was excited & nervous.
