Stone and rock began to cook under the fire that Isaac was spewing. The worm furiously tried to dig its way into the chamber, but the wall held.
The smell of burnt meat came from the spot, and not long after, the worm stopped moving.
‘Three to go.’

The sound of the rock wall breaking on the other side of the chamber made Isaac look over. A slightly bigger worm than the other two had broken through.
And if his senses weren’t wrong, another would get out any second now.
From the other side of the chamber.
‘Shit’
Leaping across the room, Isaac flooded the chamber with his Dragon Fear, the worm freezing up for a split second. That was all he needed.
His claws, still on low power, dug into the worm, piercing its hide. As it went through, Isaac flooded it with fire mana.
Meat burned under the white hot flames. The worm started to wriggle, its mana taking control of the rock and forming them into short, but very sharp stone needles. Most didn’t get through Isaac's burning scales. But some did.
Isaac took in a breath.
that!!!—
New fire gathered in his throat.
Funking!!!!—
And fire spewed from his mouth.
Hurts!!!
In the firestorm, the worm hadn’t been idle. It had started biting him and gnawing into his burning scales... the pain seemed trivial again compared to what Isaac had delivered earlier.
Isaac harnessed whatever strength he could. The worm had started to bite him in his claw grip.
But he dodged or took most of them.
At this point, it was a battle of attrition.
The worm’s unending constitution seemed to end suddenly, and Isaac Flame’s went out.

He was spent, but the last ones were already here.
The biggest worm Isaac had ever seen came crawling out to his right. It was bigger than the one he had fought in the desert last.

The screech from the worm hit him, almost froze his body up, but he felt his being shrug it off effortlessly... He was still a dragon.
A smaller one came out to his left.
Damn it
‘Have to take out the smaller one then,’ He formed two sigils in quick succession, one earth and one fire. The earth beneath the largest one was shaped into spikes to disable it from doing anything. The second sigil formed and empowered a fireball with as much mana as he could gather.
Isaac could feel blood in his mouth and eyes at this point... ‘I don't think I have channeled this much mana ever.’ But it was do or die...
Charging the small one and channeling Dragon Fear again, the smaller enemy froze, longer than the previous ones had.
Getting his claws in, Isaac channeled his new fire. However, the big worm had hurled earth and bone spikes from its mouth at him.
That pierced his scales.
Pain
His control slipped, and apparently, that was all it needed to burn everything.
His right claw exploded in fire... lucky for him, they were in the worm at the time. It died there and then.
Pain flooded Isaac’s mind, ‘Fuck meeeeee.’ Looking down, he could see it was basically a stub now.
Bits and pieces of his claws were in the worm’s side... or now a giant hole.
Grunting in pain, Isaac's vision swam... He had never felt this much pain before.

Soul and power were taken from him, and cracks formed in his being.

A surge of True Draconic Fire, was pushed out of him.
His scales changed to a dark red as the new ones emerged.
Red and white flames poured out of his scales like water and turned the rock beneath Isaac into red-hot slag...
Fire consumed everything.
Because now, he was a Dragon of True Flame.
Feeling the control he had lost mere seconds ago, was gone.
The fire pouring out of him was part of his evolution, and it was True Draconic Fire, which was child's play to control now that he had evolved.
The worm sensed the danger and began hurling more of its bone and stone spikes. Most of them didn't get past his fire, which was coalescing. And the ones that did, didn’t get past his new red scales.
With ease, Isaac sent the fire against the worm. Like a wave of water, fire came crashing down on the worm. It's form reduced to nothing but ash. The red and white conflagration of fire, eating the monster.
