My Isekai Diary 3

  I’m lying down again.

  They’re both reading again.

  The Diary (Continued)

I met a girl today—Princess Roka. She nearly killed me with a pickaxe. I found out I was a bit rude by appraising her, and she did look kind of cute when she winked at me.

  I have a wedding interview a bit later. I’m a little nervous.

The king also knows about Steph.

  That bitch.

I’ll never forgive her. I’ll never be played like that again.

Keep your cool later—no matter how cute she looks, don’t let any dangerous information slip.

  She said YES.

That went better than expected. I didn’t let anything slip.

I can’t wait for next Tuesday.

I cleared up a misunderstanding today, and I think I embarrassed her a bit when I saw her in her pajamas. I sometimes don’t understand women.

I experimented a bit with the door I got from the king. It seems that your body can keep showing external injuries, and they still hurt, even after taking HP potions. However, I believe that external injuries heal when you’re unconscious, provided your HP is full.

As for the extra HP I get from the door, that seems to reset during sleep as well.

It’s like when we fall asleep, the system resets somehow.

  I need to investigate this.

I made construction go faster, I think. I’ll go back Thursday to confirm. Maybe I should help with the digging too.

I think I’m starting to fall for her.

Who the hell is this Felmina woman?

I don’t like being played with. This reminded me of Steph.

I’m kind of pissed off right now. On the bright side, I start working tomorrow. I won’t have as much time for research or quests.

Roka called me crazy for having… you know what, never mind.

It seems I may have misunderstood Lady Felmina. I’ll try talking to her. I just hope she can be more honest with me next time.

It seems I’ll be going to that marriage interview after all. Felmina seems more honest than last time.

Was that before or after I caught her?

I’m not sure. Guess I’ll find out.

  I had her completely wrong.

She says she was only testing me the first time. She told me some really embarrassing things during the interview. So much for thinking she was a seductress.

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

She’s also not really the king’s daughter.

It seems women related to the royal family come here to get married. Some fail and are sent home.

After she told me the truth, the least I can do is see where this relationship goes. Roka doesn’t seem to mind—so why should I?

I need to remember to tell the head assistant about the creepy guy. I don’t even know what he looks like, but I’m sure the head assistant will find out.

  It’s just a precaution.

  I hope nothing bad happens.

They both had their part of the seal done.

This really surprised me. I’m sure the king would have informed them that they could die, right?

I don’t want to kill them.

I need to know more before I risk their lives. I should remember to ask the king if I get the chance.

I didn’t remember what happened after that creepy guy—who turned out to be the son of a duke, by the way—smiled creepily and said, “She’s mine.”

When I thought about it, I got a really painful headache. A few seconds later, when it passed, the pain was gone.

  Strange.

I can’t remember what happened after I finalized Roka’s seal.

All I remember after that is finalizing Felmina’s seal.

Then I woke up in the hospital.

I remember killing this Ronald guy… but it seems he’s alive somehow.

On the bright side, they both got the message.

I’m in love with both of them.

  They returned my feelings.

  I’m on cloud nine.

They’re visiting my room for two days. I just hope we can stay focused and not get distracted.

  P.S.

I had a really interesting discussion with Dr. Fujisawa… or Fujisaki… or something. I don’t really remember his name.

Point is, I have some answers now.

  Here are my findings:

Our bodies aren’t the same as the ones we had on Earth. Each of us now has a magic core.

According to the doctor, our blue veins—or arteries, I always mix those up—are connected to it. The magic core itself is a ball of solid crystal with all the blue ones attached to it. That’s what got drained, for some reason.

I’ll try to remember. I’ll ask the head assistant to walk me through the events later.

Anyway, the red ones are connected to the heart.

According to the doctor, when we first arrive in this world, that place basically pumps us for information. I see now why there are so many things from my own world here.

Also, for most people, their level is usually equal to their weight.

This doesn’t apply to me for some reason.

The doctor had me appraise him. It said he was Level 95. Then he stepped on a scale—95 kilograms.

According to the doctor, people whose level is above the norm have capabilities that surpass the limits of our own world.

No wonder Shanon was so hard to knock out when we first met in the forest.

By the way, I weighed myself.

  I’m 85 kilograms.

I need to investigate this further.

  Roka waits for Felmina again.

Felmina’s eyes are bloodshot. She closes the diary.

“It seems Felmina onee-chan can’t go on anymore.”

I look at Roka, then at Felmina. She looks completely worn out.

Roka starts shaking her shoulders. Felmina’s spirit seems to be leaving her body as her head flops up and down.

  “So you’re done?” I ask.

“Yeah…” Roka says. “We’ll ask questions tomorrow. When Felmina onee-chan can keep up.”

  “Agreed.”

Roka lets go. Felmina melts into the couch.

I stand and princess-carry Felmina to the bed.

  “I-I’m tired too…”

I tuck Felmina in, then look at Roka.

She raises her arms like a child asking to be picked up.

  It’s extremely cute.

I carry her as well and set her down. I turn off the light.

  We start drifting off.

  Knock knock.

  What the hell…?

  Oh. Right. Dinner.

I’ll send them away for today. They’re both already out.

  I get back into bed.

I really hope there aren’t too many questions tomorrow.

  I drift off.
