Daughters Day Out

For the first time I'm my life, I'm relaxed. The tension in my body is completely gone. I had gotten up extra early, done my Tai Chi exercises, got a shower, dressed and headed downstairs to cook breakfast. I decided to cook breakfast pizzas. No one else was up yet but I knew everyone would be waking up soon and if I timed this just right the pizzas would be done right when everyone came down. Justina, Dianna and Cat were the first ones to come into the kitchen. They were shocked that I had already started cooking. I just finished kneading some dough and was shaping it in one pan when they came in. Each of them grabbed some dough and before long we had 7 extra large pans of dough ready for toppings. Eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, cheese, green, yellow and red bell peppers,onions and tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, bananas and freshly picked blackberries. We made different styles of pizzas. Super supreme, meat lovers, vegetarian, vegan and fruit. I had a wonderful time cooking with my family. I learned a lot about them and the pack. By the time we took the pizzas out of the oven, what sounded like a stampede was coming down the stairs. The race is on, Dianna said, Justina said she wondered who would win today. Cat told me, this happens every morning. It sounds like music to my ears. This type of chaos is what I was missing in my life and I didn't even realize it until now.
After breakfast, the men cleaned up the table and dishes, while the children headed to their class.
My daughters and I went to the mall. I had no idea how huge our lands reached until Justina told me. 50,000 acres. The mall is 7 stories tall and is owned by Diannas cousins Liza, Layla and Lyidia They rent spaces out to other pack members to sell their products. Each store is different, none of them have the same products, clothing styles or brands. Each floor has a different theme. The first floor is for babies and children, even a store for school supplies. The second floor is women's clothing, casual and formal, including a full service beauty salon and spa. The third floor is men's clothing. The fourth floor is housewares, appliances and furniture. The fifth floor is custom order made items and specialty items. It even has a Seamstress and Tailor for handmade, onebif a kind garments and fabric. You can also order custom furniture and handmade dishes. Catalina says this shop is were she orders her materials. The sixth floor is the herb and flower specialities. They supply the restaurants on the seventh floor with fresh herbs and flowers for their recipes. This mall has everything I'm looking for. Rare herbs and flowers. Thar is what I came for but I need up buying presents for everyone in the family. We each bought a hat. Justina bought the biggest hat, it's straw and covered in pastel pink, purple and blue flowers and white ribbon. She said it will be perfect for Easter. I let out a laugh and say or to eat and we all laugh. We eat lunch om the seventh floor. A nice little Italian restaurant with a private room. We talk. I found out a lot about Justina, Dianna, Cat, Anne, Xenia and Velma and even more about my grandchildren, great grandson and all their special talents. I'm actually impressed by what I hear.
Dianna tells me how Maurice came up with the plan to save all of us and how she hadn't had any contact with her parents but somehow they knew she was pregnant and how they are hiding Little Vlad and Geneva. Then she tells me about Sophie-Ann and Wayne, Brenton, Eric, Lexie and Wren.
Cat tells me about her missing mate Grayson. I met him, I tell them. He is a nice strong man. When Zora found out he was the grandson in law to Lyican and Cecilia she had him moved before they found out but I don't know where she moved him too.
Zora? Dianna asked. Yes she is a dark magic scientist, her mate is also a dark arts doctor, Zakhory. I tell them.
Dr .Z. Justina exhaled. Now we have their names we can search for more information about them. It's almost 2pm and it's time to head back home. We can't miss another training class Anne says. We quickly get up and decide the escalator would probably be quicker because the line for the elevators are so long.

As we were going down the escalator Dianna who had been chatting suddenly goes quite. She is looking at someone on the elevator going up. A red headed woman who looks like an older version of Geneva. Dianna bolts up the escalator and we chase after her. She catches up with the woman and grabs her hand. Justina used her Vampire Speed and zooms in front of the woman, catching her other hand and says her name questionable, Flora? The woman is shocked and nods her head in a defeated way. Justina tells her she is coming with us now. We will shop later. The woman nods again. Dianna ask if there is anything she needs right now. The woman nods her head yes and Justina still had the woman's hand and says ok let's go get what you need but we need to hurry. The woman nods and we head to one of the little herb shops. We stop at the hat store and she buys a hat too and we leave together. The woman hasn't said one word since we met her. Just nods for yes and shakes her head for no.
When we reach my house, Justina is still holding the woman's hand. She has no intention of letting go of her any time soon. I grab my bags and put my items on my kitchen counter and walk to the indoor traing grounds. Cat and I arrived at the same time. I was starting to ask her about the red headed woman when Justina and Dianna enter. Justina is still holding onto her hand. It's not a tight grip, firm but in a protective way. Anne, Xenia and Velma arrive and Anne ask if we are early for once. Tanchi comes in the room and tells us that everyone is in the gym today. Anne asked if we are early or late. He smiled and said that we are right on time for once. Anne wiped the sweat off her brow and sighs with relief, saying she couldn't take another one of Ashura's punishments.
Today I'm just observing so I sit on the bottom bleacher. Justina comes over and introduces me to the woman as Vlads mother and tells me the woman's name is Flora and she is Diannas, Great Grandmother. Justina motions for Flora to sit down beside me and she does, Then Justina asked me to hold her hand and as soon as I touch her hand, I feel it. Flora has been cursed. She can no longer talk because of this cursed spell. It's not a very strong spell but it's a spell that can't be undone by just anyone and most casters are scared of undoing dark art spells. Scared it will come back on them. Hogwash if you know what you're doing. That is how Maurice got poisoned, he undone dark magic spells but didn't put up a filter. My first lesson will be to show everyone how to filter magic. I ask Flora if she would like something to drink but instead of getting up I link Geneva, who is sitting on the floor if she would float 2 bottles of water over to us. She grins as 2 bottles float toward us. Flora’s eyes go wide with excitement as she watched her youngest great-great grand daughter levitating water bottles with perfection. Flora is smiling a loving smile at Geneva. I tell her how much Geneva resembles her and she nods vigorously in agreement. I don't tell her I can cure her. I will mix the potion before the meeting and I will have her drink during the meeting, if she is there. If not it will be still be good afterward and I can preform what needs to be done then. No worries.
Flora and I watch in silence as everyone trains in multiple ways. They all have unique abilities and work very well together as one unit, and individually. That is good for what we are going up against. I'm sure Flora has her own thoughts about what she is seeing our grandchildren do. I link Dianna as she is sitting now and resting, I ask her if Flora will be joining us at the meeting. She tells me yes because she doesn't want her out of her sight and she had talked to Brenton about not saying anything important incase she was sent by Lyican and Cecilia ti spy. I told her I am going to heal her great grandmother at the meeting and if there is any darkness in her she will become violently ill and throw it up. She ask if I can see into Floras heart. I told I can't but there is someone who joined the pack who can, and that person is Zyrax. The King Cobra Shifter. He is a hypnosis specialist and he can train her learm to use her hypnotic ability better than anyone. She tells me she is going to find him now and jumps up running out the door.
When she returns she has Zyrax with her. He is a tall man with black hair with golden eyes. He doesn't say anything, he just sits down on the other side of Flora and touches her shoulder. She jumps slightly but then hugs him tightly and he hugs her back. He tells her that he knows she can't speak and that's alright. He knows her heart and it's pure. Flora breaks down crying on his shoulder and he just holds her as she soaks his shirt with her tears. He looks at me and silently mouths one word MATE. I smile at him and he smiles back. I turn my attention back to the children to give them what little privacy I can give.
After training everyone leaves to get their showers and ready for the meeting. As King Vlads mother I asked Zyrax to join us seeing he is Floras mate and soon to be great grandfather to Dianna. He said he wouldn't miss it and will arrive at the house 30 minutes early. I tell him that will be fine and head to my house to put up my things and to make the potion for Flora.
