Hello and good day/afternoon/evening to everyone.
I deeply appreciate the time you've spent on reading Pug's Journey, however, sadly, I will have to make an unfortunate announcement.
It was a hell of a journey (heh), starting from nothing and slowly making my way up to this point, thanks to the support from you, my readers, and my fellow authors who have helped me in more ways than one.
Pug's Journey is my first passion project, and it will definitely not be my last. And the problem that I came across throughout the months was that I was chasing my schedule, trying to pump out a chapter despite being out of ideas. If I had to say, I promised my first baby too much and failed to deliver to everyone, even myself. I added idea after idea, building the world too quickly, and forgot to ground myself to a basic premise.
It was only until very recently that I actually figured what direction I wanted Pug's Journey to develop in, and I was too far into the story to make changes. This is why I've made the difficult decision to rewrite it.
I have plenty of aspiring ideas that I want to show to everyone, such as a deeper development in the political landscape of Sunmire, as well as a more-rounded development of Pophet's relationships with his mother and siblings.
Unfortunately, I do not have a guaranteed timeline as to when the rewrite will be finished. But I hope that you are as eager as I am for the eventual return of the almighty pug!
On another note, I've also started another fiction titled "Villainess of Tangled Tragedies" that I'm currently writing here on Royal Road. If nothing untoward happens in life, I will continue to write it alongside Pug's Journey.
Once again, I thank everyone for your support.
P.S. there's also a pug in Villainess of Tangled Tragedies!

Below is the cover, premise, and link to it. I would very much appreciate it if you would follow and/or rate villainess. Thanks!
