Nothing has gotten better today. It is very cold. There aren't as many people anymore. I officially counted today. Ten of us are gone. Half of us. Kimi, Simon, Lucas, Krishna, Henry, William the Aussie, Louis, Georges, Antonio, and Ammon. I remember them by name.
"You don't look so good today. Bad dreams again," Lawrence taunted a little. I promptly told him to shut up.
Angelo frowned, "What's that all about anyway?"
This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.
"It doesn't matter, and it never will," I informed him before Lawrence could open his mouth.
I am truly tired though. There are very few things that will make me better. It's dreary and cold and there is nothing more that I want to do than go back to the village, back to my Maria. I hope that she will be glad to see us again.
"It's dreary and cold," I managed to mention.
Lawrence looked like he wanted to slap me, "Thanks for telling us."
It's not very warm here. There isn't a lot of heat because there are so few people here. I cannot help but be sad about all of this. How could I be happy?
