We weren't able to move north today either. Unfortunately, I believe that this expedition is doomed. There is no other explanation of the events that have occurred these past days other than a sign from God that we are to turn around and go south, back to the village. Does the war even rage on anymore? We do not know. It is quite sad. Our wireless is completely broken. Not one of us knows how to rewire the thing.

A blizzard passed over today. We didn't even have time in the morning to get together and get warm before feet of snow fell on us. We had to start digging tunnels through the stuff to get to the other tents. Me especially, since I have to check for hypothermia and frostbite. It was simply awful. We all piled ourselves in Yuri, Lawrence, Daniel, Angelo, and I's tent. We are so used to doing this that no one had a single question about what was going to happen. It is quite sad, but it is our life now. It's noticeably much less crowded than it was last time. The place is not as cramped as it was. It's very convenient, but for some reason, I wish that this tent was so cramped that there would not be any room whatsoever. That would mean that we were all alive and well. Something none of us will ever get to see again.
