Today, we had to gather up some more supplies from how big of a snow we had the other day. It seems like we used absolutely everything to sustain us those few days. I had to help get some firewood myself with Lawrence. We were all quite sad at the loss of William the Aussie, staying far away from the pond he fell inside. We couldn't move. We couldn't get his body out.
"I hate doing this so much," Lawrence grumbled.
I shook my head, "Look to the bright side, at least you can move. Some people can't. They're paralyzed."

"You somehow find every single way possible to make a conversation more depressing, don't you?"
"Sorry," I told him, "I don't mean to."
It was Lawrence's turn to be disappointed, "Don't take everything so serious."
The morale around us is severely down. If we continue like this, we will never make it. Perhaps we were never supposed to make this mission. Perhaps this was just one big set up in life. I do not believe my heart can take this thought. I want nothing more than to get this trip over with and to go back to the warm village with Maria. We all want to go back now. Now William the Aussie cannot anymore.
