It snowed very badly today. We have been huddled up all day in Yuri, Lawrence, Daniel, and I's tent. It is quite warm in here. We are doing everything by the light of our lanterns. We have even had to cook food above an open one. Our predicament is quite sad. Almost all of us have used this day to sleep so we don't get exhausted. Louis's death hangs in our heads.

Angelo was squished up right beside me. He resorted to using my shoulder as a pillow for the majority of the day. Lawrence was on my other side and he did the same exact thing.

"Why do you guys have to be so reliant on me all the time?" I questioned Lawrence. He only laughed. Angelo was asleep at the time.

When Angelo awoke, he whispered to me, "I want to go back to the village."

I didn't want his heartbrokenness to overtake me, so I asked him, "Is that because of Alena?"

He shook his head, "I don't want to be here. It's so cold. It's lonely too."

"You have us. You have Lawrence and I. Antonio if you need him," I responded to him.

"But we're so far away from others. From people who aren't dealing with the same things as us. We're all pretty much exactly the same when it comes to experiences in this unit. I can't stand it any longer," Angelo told me.

I began reflecting on his words after he fell asleep again. Are we truly that alone in this world, or is there something else bothering him?
