January 9th, 1919

The argument from yesterday lingered on. There were no outbursts today, however, the tension still remained. Daniel would hardly speak with anyone and Roy was out hunting. The scouters were out and the mood was too somber for me to handle. When I was treating William the American and Georges's frostbite, I could feel it.

"What's with all of this today?" I asked them.

William the American shook his head, "We don't want to be much into it, like you, but I guess we're all just tired, and some of us want to go home. Some of us want to go back to the village."

"That's alright. I want to go back to the village. What do you think would make everything better until we get there?" I inquired.

"Maybe we have to make a deal or a pact so we won't kill each other until then," Georges offered.

At the same time, William the American asked, "Why do you have to be so stingy with your English."

"Isn't my first language, and that's a good idea," I told them. I brought it up to Yuri and he decided that we should make a pact. Later tonight he is bringing everyone together to do so. Until then, tensions remain.
