Hello everyone,

  This lore chapter is dedicated to the character designs of party members of Valiant Cry. They feature the character's original design, a 360-degree view, and a few action poses with their weapons/items. There will be no additional information regarding characters, as you'll get that through regular chapters, and I may do separate character profile lore chapters down the line.

  This is my desire to help you visualize the characters in the story as I have envisioned them. Some of them predate this version of the novel.

  One of the first characters I came up with was Icarus. Second was May. Heron was last, and it wasn't even my idea. I had no clue how the protagonist should look. So all of these drawings were done by a student I met a few years ago, Sashka. We started collaborating, but it didn't really work out after initial designs and some chapters for a webtoon we wanted to do. In the end, I gave up on the webtoon idea because it would be a massive undertaking, and Sashka was just a student at art college, so it would be a big ask of her to stick with me for years and do the whole webtoon.

  Also, I should point out that while the character sheet was drawn entirely, the 360-degree view was generated by AI. For action poses, it is a combination of my drawing touch-ups based on the character art and AI-assisted generation for additional items, such as weapons. So any artifacting present on those is a result of the clanker's inability to generate what I wanted assistance with accurately.
