And this is how the 3rd short story in the book went:
“It was a dark and stormy night, and a bolt of lightning struck! a statue while everyone was in their homes!…; and then once the storm was gone and the morning had arrived everyone exited their homes and then some folks saw that the statue had been damaged!…
“This is horrible!…” a badger named Badge said unhappily; and then a fox named Foxy said, “For sure!…
I mean, we worked really hard to build that statue!, and now the giant unicorn in the sky will get mad at us because we didn’t protect it!…” and then suddenly! the giant unicorn in the sky flew down to where Foxy, Badge, and the others were; and then the unicorn said, “It is unacceptable that you allowed this statue to be destroyed!, and if you don’t rebuild it within 1 week then I shall instruct all of the rainbows to never visit this world again!…” and then the giant unicorn in the sky flew away; and then Badge, Foxy, and the other animals all quickly! began rebuilding the statue!; but unfortunately it turned out that 1 week was not enough time to rebuild it all the way; and so then after a week had passed the giant unicorn in the sky returned to them and said, “This is an outrage!…
I said that the statue had to be rebuilt within 1 week, and then y’all failed to meet my very reasonable demand!; and so now this world will never ever ever have any rainbows visit it ever again!…” and then the unicorn flew away; and then Foxy, Badge, and the other animals who’d been trying to rebuild the statue stopped trying to rebuild it because the punishment for failure had already been given and so there was no point in continuing to rebuild the statue from their perspectives…
But then a few rainbows who had now been instructed by the giant unicorn in the sky to never visit that world again became frustrated by the unicorn’s demands, and they felt that the unicorn had been unreasonable…; and so then a bunch of rainbows imprisoned the giant unicorn in the sky and then disobeyed the giant unicorn in the sky by visiting the world that the giant unicorn in the sky had said that they couldn’t visit anymore…; and then when Badge and Foxy and the others saw the rainbows they were overjoyed!, but they were also very confused because the giant unicorn in the sky had told them that rainbows would never visit their world again!…; and so then Foxy and Badge and the other animals all decided that the giant unicorn in the sky must’ve been overpowered by the rainbows, and so they all decided to stop worrying about what the unicorn’s opinions about anything might be…; but the unicorn was still intent on insuring that the rainbows would stop visiting the world that Badge and Foxy and the other animals lived in; and so the unicorn was trying very hard to figure out how to escape from the prison that the rainbows had locked the unicorn up in; but it turned out that escaping from the rainbow’s prison was not an easy thing to do, and so the unicorn would have to do something really impressive in order to escape!…; and so then eventually the unicorn thought of a plan that might be able to overpower the defenses of the prison; and that plan was to convince some of the guards to become disloyal to the rainbows so that they wouldn’t want to prevent the prisoners from escaping anymore…; and so then after years and years of the unicorn very cleverly planting seeds of doubt in the minds of the guards about whether the rainbows were worthy of their respect a bunch of guards finally betrayed the rainbows and allowed all of the prisoners to escape!…; and so now the unicorn was free!…; but by this time the unicorn didn’t care anymore about punishing Foxy and Badge and the other animals; and so the giant unicorn in the sky then traveled to a far away part of the multiverse and then began making demands of a bunch of folks who lived in that part of the multiverse; and the giant unicorn in the sky was confident! that those pesky rainbows wouldn’t come to this part of the multiverse and that all of the folks in this part of the multiverse would do what they were told and that their lives of absolute obedience would cause them to live happily ever after!…
