Story coming soon! I plan on launching on March 23rd and will be releasing the first nine chapters on day one, then a month of 5x a week posting, then settle into a monday, wednesday, friday cadence. Patreon will be up and running with roughly 5-10 chapters ahead, we'll see how long I can keep my back log alive. So far it's quite healthy with book one fully written and book two actively in progress!
Lorena was supposed to die. She didn’t.
Asher was the best contract killer money could buy — until cancer made him the one with an expiration date. When a corporation offers him a second life in a world governed by stats, classes, and levels, the deal is simple: transfer his soul into a new body, assassinate the most powerful mage in the kingdom, and live out his days free of pain.
The transfer works. There's just one problem with his new body — the farm girl he stole it from is still in there, and she's furious.
Now trapped at level 10 with a voice in her head that won't stop judging her, "Lorena" must claw her way through a world she doesn't understand, join a crew of dangerous misfits, and somehow close the gap between a skinning knife and the mage who's already killed twelve of the best Adventurers before her. But the further she climbs, the harder it becomes to ignore the woman she wronged — and the cost of the deal that put her here.
The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
I still think you should have chosen Hunter over Rogue. You already took everything else from me. You could have given me that.
Okay I still need more words. This story is my second ever but I'm very happy with how it turned out. The entirety of book one is complete, editing and all. Book two is fully outlined and I've begun working on the chapters for that too. The story is planned to be three books long with a planned and outlined series arc and finale.
What else can I say? The story takes place in a fantasy world and explores themes about bodily autonomy and corporations grasp on that subject. There is some great humor thrown in between the darkness, just to give you a break from the feels, I hope it works out. The beta readers seemed to enjoy it well enough.
There's a surprise character in the first 20k characters I'm excited for you all to meet, I think they will become a fan favorite.
What's everyone's favorite color? Okay less than a hundred words to go. How is this stuff, filling in a blank chapter, the blurb, all of that harder than writing the actual story? Oh well. We're getting there. Look at those words go. Woohoo.
Do you have pets? I have two adorable dogs, one of whom is whining right now for me to hit the word cap already so I can be done with this okay final stretch great hope you all enjoy the story!
