All of a sudden, Masa Ed paused.
"I am dancing, what the hell?" He yelled somewhat and he sounded self-mocking.
Thinking he might be under a strange spell that is responsible for him acting stupid—not doing what is right, which is hurrying to leave the place before something strange that will ruin his escape plan happened—he hurriedly like he should, grabbed his lantern—about to leave—but after a moment thought, he paused, placing down his lantern.
"I should hide this guys if I can't take them with me." Muttering, he neared his evil axe. Then in short; after he dug a hole someplace he marked, he buried all the boxes, leaving him with only his evil axe strung on his broad shoulders and the lantern in his hand.
"Now I can finally leave." Sighing deeply, he neared the golden chain lying on the glowing ground he has strangely not minded. And about to pick the golden chain, remembering one of his earlier miseries, he turn to look at his right palm.
"My blisters have healed, strange." He concluded.
However, choosing not to think about why his palm that was previously badly damaged look newer than ever like that of a newborn, he moved on—gently crouching. Then he starts to pull the chain gently and repeatedly in a calculated maneuver—making it rise while targeting the round opening at the top of the wall through which moonlight enters the chamber.
Then moments later, shouting, "Yes." Masa Ed excited jubilated—fisting the air... luckily on first try, the chain stuck to the other side of the opening, just according to plan.
Even though he could have learned more on how to maneuver the golden chain using two hands which might have yielded better result, instead, he gambled on the possibility of it getting stuck at the other end which happened on first try.
Then moving on, he slowly starts moving the golden chain with one hand at where it touched the ground along the ground, and towards where the wall of the round opening meets the ground in the far distance, making sure he apply the tiniest bit of force per push until he reached the wall so as not to make the golden chain come undone where it got stuck behind the round opening and then fall to the ground, thus eliminating the possibility of him having to repeat his careful maneuver to get it stuck behind the round opening a second time. Then after a long time of him focusing extremely on moving the golden chain gently and carefully with utmost patience, he successfully reached the wall where the chain hung above.
"Perfect." Masa Ed smiled. He has completed the part where he expected a great annoyance, and now, its the hardest and the most exhausting part left, which upon successfully completing it will land him at the other side he has been hoping is a place outside of this strange place.
"This lantern is not hot but warm, strange." He muttered, glancing at his lantern before he hang it by its handle he unhook and then hook across his neck like a necklace.
Then proceeding, he grabbed the evil axe strung on his other shoulder, and raising it very high, he inserted its blade backspike that is like that of a battle axe into one of the ring of the chains as far up as he can reach. Then he start climbing up the golden chain with legs on the wall for surpport as steady as he can, and in such a way that he will pause when he reached close to the super sharp blade of the evil axe, remove it from the ring of the golden chain it hangs on and reinsert it in another ring far up as far as he can reach before he resume his climbing by repeating the process like he is rock climbing.
So in this manner, Masa Ed with his lit lantern dangled on his chest, steadily and with sharpened focus climb up the golden chain one grip at a time and with his legs on the wall as support, trying as much as possible not to let the chain swing even a bit. However, as he reached halfway—about to scratch a stubborn itch—his core shifted a bit, and the golden chain in turn swing along.
"Fuck!" He cursed, expecting the now dangling golden chain to probably loosen where it got stuck, but observing no change even after it quit dangling—regaining its dead stillness—he took a deep breath, calming his tensed nerves, feeling relieved. However, the next thing he felt was freedom from flying, a feeling that was supposed to be refreshing and liberating naturally, but it remind him of the time he fell into the sea of fog—a traumatic experience. In other words, the golden chain has loosened from where it got stuck behind the round opening and Masa Ed along his evil axe a meter behind is free falling towards the sandy ground below with his hand still gripping the taut chain and his back towards the ground.

'I am going to die.' He panicked and he looked horrified. However, after a short moment that he started falling, he heard a low thud just before he saw a flash of gold and passed out. Although he strangely landed safely, it was the force of the dropping chain hitting his head plus his agitated state of mind that briefly suspended his consciousness—keeping him lying sprawled on the sandy ground with the chain beside him and the black blade of the evil axe that landed a second later stuck in the sand just near his temple in a way that if it had landed one more centimeter to the side, it would have peeled off the side of his skull, revealing its content that will then spill out, therefore ending his life or returning him to the strange room where everything begins and will begin again.
...
Moments later.
Masa Ed after an unknown amount of time woke from his deep slumber that is probably the first since he woke up in this strange place, and he prays in his recess for it to be his last.
"Lucky." He felt lucky after he hit the side of his head against the cold blade of the evil axe, realizing how close his head was close to getting cleaved open when he passed out.
"I almost died from this, wait..." He suddenly paused midsentence, realizing he just survived an expected deadly fall from a height definitely high up.
'... I don't know.' Masa Ed suspended his mental search for the reason he survived the fall, and quickly standing to his feet, he realized the lantern is still hanging on his neck, undamaged a single bit with its illumination intensity remaining unchanged.
"This lantern also doesn't make sense, well..." He let the lantern be after which he turned his focus to the golden chain lying on the ground completely motionless without any weird shit going on.
Now... Masa Ed again prefer the getting stuck method over mastering a two hand maneuver of the unscientific chain that might yield a better and fictional result but will take time.
With pulling it here and there after gripping it at a reasonable length, he made it slither up like a snake towards the round opening but after it slither passed it—expecting it to get stuck like the first try before he fell—as he released his grip, the chain fell back to the ground and would have hit his head if he didn't move to the side quickly.
"I guess my luck ran out." He concluded, watching the last of the golden chain hit the ground. But then, Masa Ed once again got to business.
As his only objective, he tried to get the chain stuck somewhere behind the round opening he can't really see, but after many tries that left him feeling heaviness in his hand and a boiling feeling of frustration, he decides to take a break.
"Fuck it!" He screamed out of frustration, throwing the golden chain he held up to the grounds, but according to its law of operation, its end pointing skyward and high up shot higher up like it should, and at that moment Masa Ed seeing it hit the stone celing, experienced a sudden flash of inspiration before he quickly moved to the side to avoid it as it falls back to the ground.
"I am really getting stupid." Masa Ed scolded himself. He expects someone of his intelligence should have realized the true essence of the golden chain—what else it can do and what actually make it unreal—which is a conclusion from observation and its that the shooting response of its end only happen when the part of the chain gripped is displaced with the vector direction of displacement being the direction it will shoot.
So, once again and certain its the last time, Masa Ed maneuver an end of the chain to extend out of the round opening, making sure from where he gripped it to that end is taut by not releasing his grip.
Then after grabbing his evil axe, he did like earlier where he insert the evil axe blade backspike in a ring of the chain that is as far as he can reach above him before he starts climbing the chain like he is rock climbing—legs on the wall as surpport and grip by grip—making sure the chain that has its end hanging to nothing behind the round opening remains taut and shouldn't drop as long as he always has a grip on it although its changing from hand to hand.
Then always removing his evil axe from the chain ring and inserting it in a ring further up as far as he can reach whenever he reached near the axe blade, Masa Ed, looking like a rock climber at action, successfully climbed up the golden chain, reaching the round opening which is on the part of the wall where it sharply curved at an angle to meet the golden ceiling that is also embellished with white inscriptions.
Then Masa Ed—illuminated by the dazzling moonlight of full moon that strangely mesh with the flame of his lantern across his neck—after a couple upward grip and after throwing the evil axe out, plant his hands on the outside edge of the round opening and he easily climbed out of it, finally leaving the mysterious chamber.
