The sailors all looked at each other in fright, whispering, “What did the demon say?” “Did he really say Devil’s Son?” “Is he going to give the demon a sacrifice?” “What does that make us?” The captain approached Zashan, his voice trembling with fear as the realization dawned on him that, for the past week, he had been pushing around one of the most dangerous people on their side of the sea.
“Are you really the legendary Devil’s Son—the killer of kings and the winner of wars?” he asked.
Devil’s Son smiled—oh, how he had missed people fearing him with all their hearts, dreading his name, and trembling at the thought of what he could do. “Yes, yes, I am the Devil’s Son, and you will never forget this day for the rest of your afterlife,” he replied. He leaned over and whispered in the captain’s ear, “Say hello to Adam and Eve,” before turning and walking to the front of the ship.
The captain called out after him, “Stop him! He is going to sacrifice us to the demon!” The sailors all rushed at Devil’s Son in a desperate attempt to prevent what he was about to do.
One Man struck at him with his sword, but Devil’s Son easily sidestepped it and then struck the man in the back with his bare hands the sailor let out a cry of pain and fell backwards off the side of the boat screaming helplessly as he fell to his death.
The next sailor who tried to attack was more cautious. Instead of charging immediately, he circled Devil’s Son, waiting for an opening to strike. But Devil’s Son was too smart for his plan. The sailors who had snuck up behind him thought he hadn’t noticed them, but they were as loud as elephants. Devil’s Son spun in an arc, picking up the sword dropped by the previous sailor and slashing at all three of the new attackers simultaneously, sending them to the floor.
Again, a group of sailors tried to rush him, but he was growing tired of it. He filled the sword he was wielding with magic and released it all at once, killing all the sailors who had rushed him. Now, everyone on the boat was dead—except for Devil’s Son and the captain, who was dashing toward Devil’s Son in one final attempt to save himself.

Devil’s Son sidestepped the sword but to his surprise at the captain was lot faster that he looked and he brought his sword up in an attempt to slash Devil’s Son but Devil’s Son was also much faster that he looked and he brought his sword up and blocked the captains sword and then quickly countered with a cut across the face and across the sailors one good eye the man screamed out in pain and fell to the ground now completely blind “No no I will not let you takes my ship this is my life all I am is built around this you cannot take it away from me.” Devil’s Son leaned down next to him and said in a malicious tone “I can do what ever I want for I am more powerful than those who would try to stop me”
Devil’s Son grabbed the captain by the neck and pulled him to the front of the ship; towards the Demon dragon who had been growing impatient. He helped the man out over the water. The man was now more afraid than he had been in his entire life, and he was practically begging for mercy.
“Please please don’t hurt me any more I will give you anything you could possibly want just don’t hurt me”
Devil’s Son engorged the pointless begging and instead addressed the demon dragging of the sea “Demon dragon consider this your sacrifice!” He then took the captains sword and cut him by the throat ending his screams and then he dropped the man into the ocean and let the body sink.
The dragon’s voice boomed across the waters, “Bravo, my new master. I await your display of power, and then I shall be thy servant.” Devil’s Son knew he had to do this—he had to use more magic than he had since that fateful battle where he lost his love. He knew it would cause him extreme pain, but he would gain control of this monstrous beast.
He summoned all his power; the pain started immediately. He began to rise off the boat into the storm, but the more power he used, the more his pain increased. Finally, he was so high that he was level with the beast.
“Is this enough for you?” he bellowed.
The demon replied, “Almost, my master. One last task. Tame my storm, and ye shall tame me.”
Devil’s Son was already in more pain than ever before, but he gathered the rest of his strength—all his magic. Then, his strength began to fail. He started to weaken; he began to go blind from the sheer force of his pain, and then he fell.
