Things change Up a Bit part 1

Taking the Golden Armored giant, a future version of himself, into arms now grown large enough to manage the task, gently lowering youthful lips to gently kiss his own bare forehead. Then a golden light flowed out from the wounded God's wounds, first rolling over the floor like a noble child's party entertainment, then rising up like a poison gas attack filling the room before it ignited like a golden gas explosion making even the Custodes flinch from its force. The wounded Primarchs and Space Marines turned to confront the new threat lowering respirators in case this was some final attack from the Ruinous Powers just as the gas became something else that sliced through defenses that had resisted the worse that the Traitors had been able to do to them with an ease that would have destroyed them if not for it having a very different origin.

While the two figures of the Twin Emperors still held each other in a golden embrace paused in time as now the same Golden Emanations were coming from every orifice of the newly arrived version of himself. Even though he hailed from thousands of years in the past the connection to his future self seemed real and vital given the reaction to a simple kiss. Everyone was now falling to the side effects of this meeting of two mighty figures from different time periods yet with the same soul. Captain Valador was the last to fall to his knees in grief to see such a sight, so bright was the golden bone burning brilliance that the few mortals present in the throne room at the time were beyond blinded, forever more from that point onward they were filled with the Emperor's light and blessings. Becoming among the first in rank of the new saints of the Imperial faith.

When the light had faded, normal sight as opposed to hallucinations and vision quests came back into play of course, it was Valador who was the first to come to his sire's aide to make sure that he could be installed onto the Golden Throne as per the Emergency plan. What he found made him stop and stare not able for a few crucial milliseconds to process what confronted him as he almost skidded to a stop in his arrested haste and distress. Not that, maybe puzzlement would be a better word to describe the look on his face seeing what was now in front of him as the haze finally cleared. The primal force gradually left the room so that all could rise to their feet, a miracle had taken place for a great number of those present had been almost mortally wounded themselves and only their desire to make sure their sovereign was saved from the treachery of those who had fallen from grace and favor by turning on their brothers had kept them from falling dead to the floor. Now they were healed, armor in perfect form somehow magazines that had been empty, bent from the impact and effects of the desperate fighting that had been the reality on the hateful ship that even now was making its way out of the system were now straight and filled with ammunition that leaked a golden light from its seems so full of his power and rage at those who had made these vents happen and his plan to be so diverted was each bullet and bolt.

You could now see what had made the Great Captain so hesitant, where before there had been the tableau of two mighty figures one holding the rent and injured form of the other now there was only one. The armor though rent and damaged almost beyond repair of the future Emperor now lay empty on the floor each piece separated, no longer held together by flesh and sinew. Not even the bones were left only a fine golden powder that even as everyone looked on was sucked up into the air and seemingly like metallic grains of dust being pulled towards a strong magnet were adsorbed by the figure of the young Emperor. He opened his mouth to speak to the quivering with anticipation filled fear and confusion audience when a beam of golden light was emitted instead of words that as he stumbled slightly in confusion hit the almost translucent figure of Malacador. it only lasted for a fragment of time but he became real somehow once more and even as the astounded audience looked on he stepped down from the dais seemingly brought back from the brink...........
