“Mini Dragon Bomb.”

  A smile creeps on her rather voluptuous lips as she says this, as she affirms this. Her sharp golden eyes are shining with a darker shade of golden while they are fixated on the Mini Dragon Bomb. Sadistic, that’s what they seem, as she appreciates her own magic prowess, as she imagines what will happen to that Shadow Chariot. Her platinum-silver hair keeps on sparkling from time to time as the small stars on it are doing so; however, her hair is also shining brightly but just enough to be visible, nothing too drastic as I said before.

  The Mini Dragon Bomb is right above the palm of her hand, just slightly bigger than it. The fingers of her hand, her tender pale fingers, they gently caress the Mini Dragon Bomb going backwards and towards herself while doing so. One by one, she slowly removes her fingers until only the index finger is the only one touching it, her slender but a bit crooked to the sides index finger. A fraction of a moment later, she runs said finger across the Mini Dragon Bomb until it is roughly in the middle. Once her finger is positioned in such a way, she fully extends it forward and the same can be said about her hand and arm as it went a little bit backwards, pushing slightly the Mini Dragon Bomb forward, just a few short centimetres that is, just enough to be at the tip of her finger. Her thumb is raised up while she does this, fully raised up at that, while the rest of her fingers except the index one of course, are closed.

  She faces her body to the left side but only slightly. Her right leg is forward by a few centimetres while the left one is following the same direction as the body. Her head is sideways, no, let’s be more accurate this time around, her head is sideways to the left as far as it can physically go, allowing her rather pale cheeks to touch the armour of her shoulder. Thanks to this, the hair falls down to the left, covering a little bit of her pretty face however, her sharp golden eyes, since they are shining with that dark shade of golden, you can easily see them through the gaps of her hair, but this only happens to the right eye, the other one is fully exposed to the world and to those that are far too fortunate to see it. However, with this movement of hers, even her left ear is exposed thanks to the gravity and its effect on her platinum-silver hair. Once everything is ready to go, she slowly closes her left eye and with a soft but cruel smile on her face, she finalizes this act, this show of hers.

  “Bam.”

  Her voice was gentle and soft.

  With a mischievous tone to it.

  And with a ruthless look on her eye.

  The Mini Dragon Bomb is shot off towards the free-falling Shadow Chariot however, even though she has unleashed a small calamity into the world, said devastating action was as soft and as gentle as her voice. I wasn’t expecting that to be honest, I really wasn’t. The moment the bomb was shot off with it, her arm went backwards, just slightly though, as the devastating spell was shot by using her finger as the trigger. The Mini Dragon Bomb reached the Shadow Chariot in a blink of an eye, it was fast, faster than even the speed of sound and faster than lightning itself. From the sheer amount of magic energy that thing has, you would think that, the moment it was shot a massive shockwave would follow it, cracking and even destroying the ground with it and yet, nothing of that sort happened.

  You could also expect that, when it hit the Shadow Chariot, a massive explosion would follow it, one that would destroy everything on its path and in a serious area around it and in a sense, you’re right however, instead of an explosion that would be felt and hear several kilometres from here, instead, you only saw it.

  There was no sound.

  There was no shockwave.

  There was no ground shaking.

  There was nothing at all.

  Only the sight of the explosion is the only thing that you can see.

  But, let me explain what happened, what really happened, and just how frightening the Magical Girl powers truly are.

  When the Mini Dragon Bomb hit the Shadow Chariot, another spell was activated right after that, one that created a barrier and contained the explosion within it. The barrier was not only strong enough to contain at the very least, and I mean that, at the very least an A+ rank magic spell, it also removed or contained is more correct, any sound from the explosion and the shockwave that would follow it. This is why, even though it should’ve been quite the explosion, nothing “special” happened instead. However, here’s another question, how did she do it? This is the part that even frightens me a little bit. She did so when she was “playing” around with the spell, while she was caressing it with her slender fingers, while she gently ran across her index finger across it, she was actually creating a magic circle below the Mini Dragon Bomb, one that would activate once the requirements where meet, just as we have witness. The barrier was around 30 meters of diameter in all directions, up, down, side to side, you name it. While no one felt the explosion, said explosion was bright, extremely bright, easily something that would’ve been seen even from kilometres of distance but, it was more than powerful and destructive enough to leave nothing behind, no Shadow Chariot, no magic stone, no ashes, nothing.

  Everything was completely eradicated from this world.

  A few seconds later the barrier disappears and the moment that happens, a massive shockwave follows it. All thanks to the difference in pressure between the inside of the barrier and the outside, in other words, once the barrier disappeared, whatever was inside, it got expelled with great force thanks to that phenomenal and the fact that a massive explosion happened inside of it, not only said shockwave is actually visible, it’s also quite strong. So much so that, the trio felt it by quite a bit, even all the way at the edge of the bridge. The bridge bounced sideways for a fraction of a second as the shockwave hits it somewhat violently, dirt was lift of as the shock wave hits the ground with the same violence and of course, our beautiful Kiana, her pretty platinum-silver hair, her elegant clothes, all of them dance elegantly with it.

  ……..

  ……

  …

  Then, the silence settles in as the Magical Girl casually plays with the tips of her hair.

  However, this silence is actually speaking quite loudly right now until that is, the shock and surprise forces one of them to speak up.

  “Wh-WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?”

  She no longer can contain the sheer surprise, shock and disbelief to what just happened, making-no, forcing said emotions transform into a form of a shout, one that is easily loud enough to be heard even from a few good hundreds of meters from her. She felt “nothing” when the explosion happened, she was only able to see the bright light in the shape of a “ball” eat away the Shadow Chariot, a light that was so bright that it forced her eyes to somewhat close as it was unbearable for them. Then, the light disappears and the monstrosity that was supposed to be there, it’s gone, almost as if it never existed in the first place. Mere moments later, a massive shockwave decides to spawn out of nowhere, one that not only is strong enough to reach her, but the amount of magic residue it has, it’s something out of this world so much so that she couldn’t sense them accurately. While the amount of the magic is enormous, its density however, it’s somehow even stronger.

  Karls- I for once agree with you… I was going to tell you to calm down, but this is ridiculous! That’s way above A rank in my book! What she did was and is mind blowing!

  Charles- Erm, guys, can you tell me what just happened? Why have we only now felt the shockwave from the explosion? Why didn’t we even hear it at all? The explosion was contained by something right? What the hell did she do?

  Anne- Yeah Karls, what the hell just happened? Even I could see that, there was a barrier that surrounded the explosion! How do you even do that!? Wait, do you even know any barrier that could contain such a spell? Oh my…

  Charles- Wait a second, a barrier? Are you talking about a magic barrier? Is that even possible? Not only did it contain that explosion, it was also that far up in the air… I never knew there were such barriers that could do such a thing let alone that you could create one far away from you!

  Karls- Oie! The two of you, calm down! If you can, that is... But yes, it was a barrier that activated the moment the explosion happened. However, I have no clue how she did it, I didn’t see or sense her using a magic circle in that area. And yes, there are barriers that are strong, and you can also activate a barrier way up in the air but, holy crap! She’s unbelievable!

  Anne- I mean, yeah? Only now, have you reached that conclusion?

  Karls- What are you even saying? Of course not! You just don’t get it, in the spell that she used, she inserts said barrier on it, that’s how she did everything at once. Argh, how can I explain this in simple terms? Basically, she put a magic circle on top of the spell, one that would activate once the trigger happens, in this case, the explosion. However, to do so, she probably modified said magic circle to have a “gather” feature, one that would suck magic energy from the explosion, allowing it to be automatically activated rather than being on a timer.

  Charles- So, what you are saying is that, not only she used a deadly magic spell, one that could easily bring down one of the city skyscrapers, she also added at the top of said spell, a magic circle, one that would create a barrier upon being triggered. However, to make this magic circle activate automatically, she modified it in such a way that it would suck the magic energy from the explosion to activate by himself. Is that it?
