April 1, Monday.
Sigh… I can say that I was expecting to actually sleep throughout the entire night but here I am. I’m at Kiana's room and she’s sleeping peacefully, just like a princess even. In fact, from her peaceful look, from how she’s to the side, her right side in this case, from how she has both of her hands at around head level and just a little bit away from it, from how she has her mouth just a tiny itty bit open and from how gravity is affecting her mesmerizing hair, making it cover her right eye while simultaneously exposing all of the left side of her face, she resembles a character from a story that I do enjoy quite a bit. A princess that enjoys sleeping far too much, doing everything in her power to achieve the perfect sleep. Anyway, why am I even making this reference?
“Hmm.. Morning already?”
Was my tangent that long? It's 6:50 am, a little bit earlier than what she normally wakes up, although in the time span of my tangent, the sun went from not even reaching this room to softly and gently caressing her beautiful pale face, disturbing her sleep and waking her up thanks to it. Since it is this early, the light from the sun is not that strong but nonetheless, it’s enough to bother her. While still in bed, she clumsily gets up, bouncing sideways as she does so and once, she is fully up, she goes back and forth a few times until she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and therefore, magically stopping this natural action of her sleepy body. She slowly removes the sheets that were on top of her, dragging her legs out of bed although she stops moving once, they are fully out of the bed and to the sides.
“What a weird dream I had… But for some reason I do remember it vividly… Ah, what time is it?”
Hum, while remembering dreams in itself is nothing out of this world, something about this tells me that this is far different. But we will see that in the future, the light orb did say that they were in Kiana subconscious rather than a dream, maybe that is the reason she remembers everything so vividly? Anyway, as the sleep slowly leaves her mind and body, her brain also slowly starts to function normally and the moment he’s able to process the situation she’s in, she “quickly” checks the time.
It’s 6:53 am.
It seems it took her three whole minutes to finally be able to do anything productive, but either way, it’s early, not that early as she set the alarm on her clock to 7 am however, it does ease up her worry a little bit as the reason she first checked the time was to see if she’s late or not after all, it’s her first official day at the Academy, at the Golden Eden Academy. She can’t be late for her first day now, can she? After this she gets up and goes on her normal morning routine. At around the same time as yesterday she leaves the house and goes to the Academy.
This time the Academy is much less chaotic, there are less students and the majority of them seem to be first years. Though once again, Kiana is lost on what to do, or in this case where to go, she still isn’t that familiar with this place so it’s normal if she feels lost. Luckily for her, a familiar face sees her all alone right at the entrance, not only that, she sure has a confused look on her face forcing said person to walk up to her. It’s Taniah, the President of the Student Council that happens to see her, it seems the student council is right at the entrance giving out instructions to the new year students. Here they ask their names and their ID, then, from a list, a massive one mind you, they look for their names and said ID, once they find it, they then tell them the class that they have to be at. Of course, they also give out more instructions as to where the building is, how to get there and so on.
Taniah walks up to Kiana and casually greets her, they talk for a little bit but nothing special really. Kiana does tell her that she’s lost and that she does not know what to do and where to go, with this in mind Taniah then asks her for her ID and from there, the same happens as the other students. It seems Kiana has to go to the “Third Building” (what a name) that is located in the furthest part of the Academy, at North in this case. Once there, she has to go to the 3rd floor, the last one in this case, her class will be in the last room, 3-6 to be precise. Kiana thanks her for the help, they bid their goodbyes and Kiana goes on her merry way. After 2-3 minutes of walking, Kiana is right in front of the Third Building and as you can probably expect, everyone here seems to be a first-year student. While there are more students here than at the entrance, it still is quite calm as they calmly enter the building and go to their corresponding classes. Kiana does the same thing of course, and a minute or so later she enters her classroom.

Well, before we go any further, let me explain how big this classroom really is and how it is “decorated” per say. This room is for the large size, the entrance is at the furthest corner that from the outside, the door is at the end of the room itself. Once inside, we are immediately greeted by the teacher area and next to it a “stage”, one where you have to climb exactly two stairs to be up there. This is the so-called teacher area where there is the desk of said teacher, one that is close to the entrance of the room and with quite the comfy chair behind it. Behind the desk but in the middle of the “stage” there is a board, one that almost extends from one side to the other, being just shy short of the “stage” itself. The room itself is close to 20 meters in all directions or in other words, 400 square meters. The “stage” is around 14 meters and it’s in the middle of the room with around 3 meters of space until a wall on both sides. Its width however, it’s nowhere near as big as the length being only around 3 meters but more than enough for a teacher to comfortably teach. The set of stairs are right in front of the “stage” and they are close to 7 meters of length.
Now, let’s see the classroom from the “stage”. In front of it there is the area where the students will sit down, several rows of desks and chairs occupy around 12 meters of length and the whole 20 meters of width of the classroom. There are 4 sets of rows filled with desks and said chairs; however, they are divided in exactly three parts and they are so by two sets of stairs on each side that achieve this. Before I forget, the tables and chairs seem to be made of wood, oak wood, extremely well made and of course, high quality. The chairs do have quite the comfy looking cushion on them, one also made of extremely high-quality materials. However, why is there a set of stairs you might ask? Quite simple, each row of desks increases the height by around a meter ending the last one with a whopping 3 meters from ground level. I never understood the reason for this so don’t ask me why, but I can guess it might be because it allows the students at the back to see the board or the teacher without much trouble. With this you can also guess that, the ceiling is quite high thanks to it and you will be more than right as the ceiling is around 6 meters tall.
Still in the same perspective, to our left there is a massive window in the wall, said window however, it’s only at “ground” level, what I mean is that, the moment it reaches the first row of desks, the window ends a few centimetres before it. Since the window is so big it ends up giving out more than necessary light even to the last row. Still to the left, there are a few bookshelves easily with 2 meters of height, and these ones occupy the rest of the wall that is not covered by the window. The window itself is not that wide, the reason for me to say that it’s big is because of the height, easily reaching 5 meters thanks to how high the ceiling is.
But, enough of my usual jabbering, as you can expect this is a sight for Kiana. It seems this is the first time that Kiana is in a classroom such as this one and thanks to this, she seems like a small puppy from how happy she’s waving her tail. Wait, she has a tail- ah no, it was a cat… Where the hell did that cat come from? Anyway, while this is definitely weird, what Kiana does next is not, with her extremely cheerful look on her face she climbs the stairs and goes to the last row, sitting down in the corner, one opposite of the entrance. A few minutes goes by and it's almost 8:15 am, while time is doing its thing and while Kiana is patiently but anxiously waiting for class to start, the classroom itself gets fuller and fuller as more students enter it; however, not enough to fill up the room. A few seconds if not a minute later, an older woman enters the classroom, but when I say older, I don’t mean old, I would say that she is in her early thirties if not late twenties and from her formal attire, she might be the teacher. As this woman walks up to the “stage” everyone quiets down, it’s not like too much noise was there but nonetheless, as she stands in the middle of the “stage” and faces all of them, that’s when everyone quiets down.
“Good morning class”
Well, she has a soft voice, but without much trouble she can propagate the voice throughout the room quite easily, in other words, even those at the back, like Kiana for example, will have no trouble listening to her.
“Good morning sensei”
Without any time to waste it seems, everyone there quickly greets the teacher and they do so in quite the union. Huh, colour me surprised, they really seemed like a single voice.
“I’m Maria Miura, your new teacher for the main classes. I will be teaching you several subjects but I will discuss that later on. First, let me introduce you to how everything works here in the Golden Eden Academy.”
It seems she wants to establish the rules first before going any further. After all, if a student does something that he’s not supposed to do and the reason he did so was because his teacher didn’t tell him, I think you can easily guess what will happen to her.
